We opened to the public on Labor Day 2014. Most people come to stay either in our rental cottage or in their horse trailers/RVs with their horses to ride the awesome trails in the 20,000+ acre adjacent Croom Forest. However, because our ranch is so peaceful, many stay here without horses just to enjoy the peace and quiet. There are many opportunities to recreate in the area, including outstanding mountain and road biking, OHVing, hiking, golfing, and canoeing/kayaking. Many full-time and working RVers stay for extended periods. Note that our camping area is small and intimate, so you will be close to other campers. We have 5 30-amp hookups, and 2 50-amp hookups; if you need 50-amp service, please request it. Note that a minimum of a 2-night stay will typically be required on weekends, especially during our busy season. WiFi is available, but we call it "Country WiFi" since it sometimes can be slow and may or may not be accessible from where you are parked; also, Verizon cell service in our area is terrible. If internet access is important to you, we suggest having your own hotspot or internet service (many working RVers have Starlink). Note that GPS can be very mean in our rural area; make sure your turn off Highway 50 is onto paved High Corner Road, which is 2 miles west of I-75 (if GPS tries to turn you down unpaved, dead-end roads, DO NOT LISTEN..you will get stuck!). If you are traveling with farm animals, we do have (2) 2-acre cross-fenced paddocks available for an additional fee. We also have a stable available, but that does have a concrete floor with mats. The property is definitely different then most. The site itself is super spacious, and has great tree coverage from some ancient oaks. the site can hold up to an extra 5 tents if neened. There is solar power to the tee pee with a 750w solar inverter connected to two deep cycle batteries. Now to get to the site you have to go through the main busy part of the property (we literally have planes, trains and automobiles and more). But once you get to the site you feel the nature. Also right next to the property about 100 yd from where the property starts there is an entrance to a boat ramp (which has a 2 mi canal that goes to lake Apopka where you can launch a canoe or kayak, or do some fishing), also a 2.6 mi nature trail, and about 100 yd as well there is a 25 mile trail that you can bike, walk or horseback ride. That trail is a part of the Apopka wildlife drive which also starts not far from the property. It's a free nature drive on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays plus holidays. We are around 15 to 20 minutes from a few different springs such as wekiva springs, wekiva Island, Rock springs and Kings landing. We are about 45 minutes from SeaWorld, aquatica, volcano Bay, universal studios and more.

I expected just a one night stay over on my journey, but made friends and didn't want to leave. Great experience. The solar lighting at night gives the grounds around the pool a great vibe. Karaoke party Saturday night was a blast. I'll be back!

Weekend Trip to Cypress Inlet Resort

We really enjoyed our stay at Cypress Inlet Resort! The staff onsite were very friendly and helpful without ever being intrusive. We loved that the privacy fencing gave us our own little campsite and made the space feel comfortable and private. We loved the location and enjoyed hiking at Circle B Bar Reserve and biking the Panther Trail. We had read other reviews mentioning road noise, but it really wasn’t bad at all. We could hardly hear it over our RV’s AC, and it never bothered us during our stay. Thank you for a great stay! We had a wonderful time and can’t wait to return!

Weekend Trip to Bare RV Resort

Jessica was friendly and helpful from check-in through the stay. The pool and outside showers were clean and in good condition. The pool table inside a recreation building was in excellent shape. My parking spot had little room for maneuverability for a 30’ class A.. I had to park head in to be able to reach the power outlet. Then I had to back out the same way I went in until I reached a spot where I could turn around.

Very quiet small campground. Somethings have changed from the listing. They no longer have happy hour from 5-6, no food options and quiet time of 9 pm is still posted. The pool was great and staff was amazing!! Will definitely return with family.

Reserved site 4 but Host said site 8 was more suitable for our 33’ travel trailer and it was! Very level and well kept. Pool was great! Perfect temperature and clean. Very clear pool rules posted on multiple signs. Very clean pool area. Small open air amenity center with pool table, foosball table, board games, seating and TV. Two public fire pits as well and individual rings at campsites. Host wa son site and accessible. WiFi strong. Will definitely visit again soon!

Weekend Trip to Boulevard Landing

I had a fantastic stay at this Hipcamp! The site was super easy to get to, with a big concrete slab perfect for my RV. It was close to the beaches, so getting out and about was a breeze. The place was quiet, and the hosts were really respectful—they gave me my space. Plus, the free Wi-Fi was a big bonus! I’d definitely stay there again and highly recommend it to others.

Excellent camp ground. Well kept, great sites with plenty of room. We stayed for two nights and the kids all had a great time fishing. We had use of canoes and kayaks and the clubhouse had a great pool house and was fun to hang out and cool off for a bit. Very much enjoyed our stay the river is beautiful!

We had such a fun stay at Camp Margaritaville RV Resort Auburndale. The campground was clean, well maintained, and had a great atmosphere from the moment we arrived. The RV sites were spacious, the staff was friendly and helpful, and there was always something going on around the resort. The pools, live music, and activities really gave it that relaxing vacation vibe while still being family friendly. We also appreciated how convenient everything was on-site, from food and drinks to the camp store and amenities. It felt more like a resort experience than a typical campground. Overall, it was a great mix of relaxing and entertaining, and we’re already talking about planning another trip back. Definitely recommend for anyone looking for a fun Florida camping getaway.

3 nights at Cypress Inlet Resort

I camped here a few nights while visiting friends in Winter Haven. It's perfect for that, or for visiting nearby Legoland/Cypress Gardens, and close enough to the wonderful downtown area to ride my bike. Nice view of the little marina, and mere blocks away from a Publix and some fast-food chains. The site feels safe in a nice neighborhood, has full hookups, and a responsive host. As another reviewer mentioned, these sites do back up to a modestly-busy road behind the privacy fence, unfortunately right next to a stop sign, making any vehicle with a noisy motor especially loud as they accelerate from a stop. However, inside my camper I couldn't hear it much, at least not over the sound of my own A/C unit, and it certainly didn't affect my sleep. Only other "cons" to these sites are that there are no picnic tables or fire rings onsite, and no campfires allowed. Note that the oak tree in Site #1 covers that site and Site #2, and the shade really helps under the hot sun. However, if you want to deploy a Starlink for internet, you probably want Site #3 (I used cellular in Site #2, though, and had strong signal on both AT&T and Verizon networks).

My first experience at Bare RV Resort was fantastic. I wasn’t quite sure what to expect from my first clothing-optional resort, but I immediately felt welcome, safe, and comfortable. What stood out most was the warm, respectful, and judgment-free atmosphere — it made for such a positive introduction to this kind of space. I visited with my friend, and we ended up making new friends during my stay, which made it even more special. The pool and hot tub were a highlight, and the whole resort felt cozy and inviting. It strikes a great balance of social and relaxed, and the location near other resorts in the area is a bonus. A wonderful first experience, and we will gladly return.

6 nights at Disney World Corner RV Lot

AMAZING!!! I can't say enough honestly. Our family goes to Orlando a couple times a year and have always stayed at the bigger campgrounds, Fort Wilderness, Margaritaville, etc. This was the most quiet, peaceful place we have ever stayed in Orlando. The people that are there we so nice and polite, and it didn't even seem like we were in the city at all. The site set up is awesome and the hot tub was my kids highlight lol. I will return over and over. The convenience of the location is near perfect to everything. Ginger was superb, and helpful with recommendations nearby as it was my wife's birthday. We can't thank you enough. Bottom line, AMAZING!!!!
