We loved staying at Outdoorsy Bayfield. We had a trailer site on the little river, and then, when I got sick and our trailer needed longer service than expected, we got a glam tent. The glam tents are amazing with heat, a kitchen, and showers! Pros: Facilities were very clean, and the people were very friendly and accommodating. Cons: The campground is right off the road, and there is traffic noise, though much less at night.

1 night at Last Resort on the River

We found this host on a last minute search as we were passing through Pagosa Springs. The location off the maid road and accessibility to water and electric was great! Our spot was right next to a beautiful creek. We heard turkey calls in the evening along with the sounds of the water flowing through the creek. The host was quick to message me and provide me with the location of our site and instructions to WiFi. The only thing we weren’t aware of was that the water to the sites had been shut off due to a freeze warning. We had run out of water in our RV, but the host provided us with bathhouse tokens. Be aware that the showers only run for 8 minutes. Honestly that was plenty of time, I had two minutes to spare! Overall this location was beautiful and peaceful. I would love to come back

Weekend Trip to Last Resort on the River

Gorgeous location by the river, quiet, grassy. The resort has everything like full hookups, a bath house with beautiful showers, fire pits, several playgrounds. Lovely place to just walk and small enough to feel wide open. Most of all the owners were wonderful: accommodating, warm, and very welcoming. As a bonus the last resort is only 20 away from pagosa springs! I would absolutely recommend and we intend to return very soon! Lastly, I rent my trailer on Outdoorsy ands RV Share and intend to share this location with all my clients.

Price was right for us at the time, nice facilities, nice creek, highway was a bit noisy. Be forewarned though as some of their employees are sticklers for their corporate rule mandate . Not all were so rigid but at least two were. Hopefully the hot tub / sauna will be up and running for you

Loved staying at Last Resort! It was beautiful, peaceful & quiet. We had full hookups & fit our 29 ft motorhome. Stayed here to go skiing at Wolf Creek. Love that it is also close to Pegosa Springs. We love this area! I highly recommend Last resort & will stay here again!

5 nights at Aspen Ridge RV Park

What a wonderful reasonably priced off season 5 night RV park stay! The host, Lulu, was friendly, engaging-not intrusive and very knowledgeable of the area. She has built an amazing and welcoming community. The camp workers on site were always available, happily helpful and great to interact with, specifically Cody. The park itself is well organized, clean with level sites. The comfortable clubhouse has everything you need to relax and socialize (wood burning stove) games, large screen TV, activities and a kitchen with well stocked tools and appliances. The laundry has $2.00 machines! and there’s a great roomy shower area. During warmer months there’ll be plenty to do in the designated areas. The park is close to a main road but traffic noise is minimal at night. It is situated with amazing mountain views and night sky viewing. I highly recommend an Aspen Ridge RV Park stay!

Terrific! The spot is 10 minutes from Durango and far enough from the owners home that it felt private. And there are endless acres of forest for the dogs to explore. We had no problem accessing the site in our rwd Ford Transit. Verizon signal was adequate. Tree coverage made starlink useless.

We loved how it was tucked away in the mountains. Tons of wildlife! We saw deer, turkeys, HUGE jack rabbits and also heard elk. The staff was VERY nice and the food at the café was also very good. We would definitely stay here again next time were in the area.

Great campground! Everything was clean, staff was friendly the views are amazing!!! I highly recommend the Durango Hot Springs and Spa down the street! We went for a two hour soak and it was absolutely spectacular!!! Close proximity to the Spa and downtown were convient and the peaceful less of the campground were the perfect combination! We enjoyed our stay and will be back!!
