My homestead is located on 4 1/2 acres of pastureland that currently have no animals. You will turn on Powell rd to reach the back portion. The camping spots are located on the back part of the property and along a refurbished shed that includes 1 added 30 amp plug; interior electric, clean well water delivery or hose filling in warmer months as well as a separately fenced area for visiting canines (Please only non-aggressive breeds unless leashed at your camp). My Golden has an invisible fence and is not allowed to visit campers unless permitted. Fires are only permitted and shared on the back patio of my home. Activities for fun on site include corn hole, firepit on lower patio along with a propane weber grill. Only 2-3 mile from Frontier Park and an electric bike ride to downtown to tour the museums, restaurants and shops.
Currently, new to hip camp and refurbishing the house and exterior so The Shed will be a working/congregating space with refrigerator/freezer, electric cooktop and indoor space with a fan so folks can escape their cars/vans. Wi-Fi is also available in the shed and the surrounding camp areas toward the building.
This was my dream come true property and I'm looking forward to sharing it with road warriors like me. Weather is forever changing here and clouds roll by fast leaving the most fabulous rainbows. I just ask that no fires of any kind be set at your site because the field is a fire hazard in the dry plains.

Simple, lovely experience. Our teardrop trailer tucked into its space next to the two horses and the chicken barn, our 8-year-old fed carrots and chickens to Richard and Fred (he renamed his equine friends), and we were 10 minutes from the parkour gym where he was competing. Our spot was spacious, our host gracious, the nearby traffic noticeable but muffled and screened, and we relaxed and slept well at our Fort Collins base camp.

Vicki was extremely nice, she welcomed us immediately and made us feel at home, offering for us to come in and join a Kentucky derby watch party that they were having. The spot was clean and well maintained, and the horses and dogs were cute. They were very accommodating with our circumstances, I had to go to sleep and wake up extremely early to run a marathon the next day and she turned the lights off early and was quiet to let us sleep. 5 stars!

This is a go to site for us when traveling on I 80. The campsite is always clean, the bathroom is immaculate and it seems miles away from the interstate even though it is conveniently close. We travel with a dog and this is a great place for her to enjoy. Oh, and lest I forget the hosts are wonderful!

Plus, the site overall has thoughtful features (fire pit, clean bathroom, several lounging spaces, hand/drying towels, solar lights). The cabin had pretty views from bed, a lovely heater (very thankful for this! Kept us warm even in 30 deg and snowing outside) and was a close drive to state parks! The hosts met us at arrival and were very kind and helpful. Two people and one dog felt tight in the cabin but made for more bonding time. Would recommend!!

Once my reservation was confirmed, he sent a birdseye view of his property to help me orient to the location of the parking area. Then, when I arrived, he welcomed me at the top of his driveway to show me the route to the spot to park. The cabin was warm and cozy on a very cold and windy night. The site is serene and full of wild life and beautiful rock formations. The double bed was comfortable and our night was quiet and restful. This spot is perfect. Being situated between Laramie and Fort Collins right off 287 its convenience is unparalleled. The hosts were very friendly and helpful without being intrusive, and our small group had plenty of privacy. The site had all the conveniences you could want from a campsite from clean water and a clean, accessible, port-o-potty to hammocks and cute lights to light the rock outcropping at night. We loved our stay and will definitely be back!
