A quiet & private farm spot

Perfect for a nights sleep. While our rig, 60 feet in total length, was a squeeze turning around, that’s entirely my fault. After I completed my 9 3/4 point turn, we were able to back up next to the barn and connect to the new 50 amp service and extend our slide under the watchful eyes of 4 donkeys and a horse. The hosts came out and were very nice, made sure we were OK, and apologized for “bothering” us. My wife and I, with our two dogs, spent the evening watching a storm roll in with wonderful lightning and rumbling thunder in the distance. The sight is very private, and I’m sure on a clear night, has amazing sky views. I got a great nights sleep. In the morning I woke up to the same watchful donkeys and horse outside one window, and three goats and a couple dozen chickens out the other. After getting some coffee in me, I went out and greeted the donkeys and horse and then the goats. All of which are very friendly.

We were unable to stay at the ranch due to the weather and us not wanting our tent to be wet. We were able to pick up our farm fresh eggs and Martin was great communicating with us. We were disappointed the weather changed our plans.

Great spot and Martin and his family were very welcoming and hospitable. Our 3 year old loved visiting with the horse and donkeys and helping feed the chickens and goats everyday. ATT cell signal isn’t good in this general area and wifi from barn was tough to stay connected to while in the camper but it was also nice to disconnect for a bit.

Lovely spot nestled in the foothills leading to Rocky Mountain national Park. 50 amp and 30 amp power and water readily available.. HOST family very welcoming and helpful. Would definitely recommend if you need a place to stay near the park and can’t get anything up in the air national park. Loveland is about 10 minutes away with great restaurants and brew pups everywhere.

Prime time location! Martin came by when we arrived and made us feel at home. Nice quiet spot with easy access from the road. There are lots of RV parks around the area, but this spot beats them all.

Gracious host. Wide open spaces. Friendly dogs. Livestock with personality. What more can you ask for. Host Martin was friendly, offered up plenty of help and accommodations. Close enough to Loveland’s amenities and far enough away to feel the “Getaway” feeling. Thanks to our host for everything.

Super nice people. Love the fresh eggs! I was in my campervan and just an easy spot to pull in for the night and get back to RMNP in the morning. This worked great. Nice drive back to the park as well, you drive through Roosevelt nat’ forest.

Great location in a beautiful quiet valley next to goats, chickens and a horse named Whiskey
Very large flat area we had no problem parking our 33ft travel trailer and 18ft Tahoe without unhooking. Easy to drive in and out. Host introduced us to the animals and gave us some fresh eggs from the hen house!

My boyfriend and I really enjoyed our stay here! I met and briefly talked to Martin, and he is a very nice host! We had no issues setting up camp and absolutely loved getting to enjoy this slice of Colorado for a few days.

Great spot. Easy to navigate the area, wide space to turn around. Martin was very friendly and helpful with our power hookup. We were first time rvers and this worked out well for us. Loved meeting the horse, Whiskey, our "host with the most". The goats and chickens were very cute too. We ended up staying 2 nights given the convenience to Loveland and all it had to offer. Watched some of the Perseid showers, only foiled by the weather and some light from nearby buildings but still got to see some of the showers which was a lovely bonus. Overall easy to find, pay close attention in the dark. Definitely recommend.
