You’ll also meet our friendly resident goats 🐐 and dogs 🐕, who are part of daily life at camp. Wildlife sightings are common, including moose, bears, and elk.
Firewood is provided at no extra cost, and a communal BBQ area, with picnic tables are available.
Bear boxes on site, compliments CPW.
RVs or campers: Please call ahead to make sure your vehicle will fit!
Camp ACA is also a unique venue for small group events of up to 25 people, including family reunions, intimate weddings, retreats, workshops, offering a private, scenic setting surrounded by nature.
Our driveway is the gateway to Yankee Hill, the largest Off-Highway Vehicle (OHV) area in the Front Range, with endless opportunities for hiking, exploring, and responsible off-road recreation.

Your site is overlooking the Sangre de Christo mountain range. The land is Alpine desert with sagebrush and ground cactus and incredible star gazing. There are 2 great hiking trails within a couple miles. There are 3 hot springs within 30 minutes. The Great sand dunes national park is within 1hr. The San Luis valley offers, hiking, mountain biking, ATV trail, Horse back riding, kayaking, stand up paddle boarding, rafting, refuges for wildlife watching.
New for 2024, The flushable toilet and shower are now operational. The shower house is located in the center of the loop with sites 1,2,3 on the south side of the building. It has an on demand water heater, there is also a a flushable toilet located in the same space. An important note about the toilet, Do Not flush anything other than toilet paper please. DO NOT flush feminine hygiene products, napkins or hand wipes or anything other than toilet paper. These type of things plug and burn up the pump while pumping out the tank. This will cause the toilet to be unusable.
ATTENTION: THE SHOWER HOUSE AND TOILET WILL BE SHUTTING DOWN AND GETTING WINTERIZED OCTOBER 1ST UNTIL MAY 1ST.

We have a BRAND NEW barrel sauna, hot tub, grills, seasonal pool (Memorial Day to Labor Day), meeting space, outdoor beer garden, bathrooms and showers for campers and a wonderful trail to Betasso Preserve right from your campsite. The Fourmile Creek runs through our property along our large lawn area. Great views and you might see bear, deer, elk, moose, foxes, or even a mountain lion!
Walk-in sites are just a short hike, about 100 feet, on an unmanicured trail to our platforms. We provide the platform for your tent as well as access to all of our lodge's amenities; front desk, lobby, bar & beer garden, fire pits, grills, bathrooms, shower, outdoor common areas, free wifi, etc.
A-Lodge has a 7-day non-refundable cancellation policy. If you cancel within 7 days of your arrival, 50% of the total is non-refundable.

On the edge of Echo Valley Ranch, this area was named for a local opera singer whose voice could reportedly be heard throughout the valley and was described as magical. It’s also surprisingly quiet, with the breath of the forest and the quaking of the aspens often the only sounds—unless the elk are nearby.
We are surrounded on three sides by National Forest land. There is plenty of climbing nearby, hundreds of miles of hiking and biking trails, including Miller Gulch, and Lake Wellington is just a few miles away. We have a 14 shot disc golf course on the property.
While we are remote, we’re only 15 minutes from restaurants and stores in Bailey. Cell reception is limited in the area, so come prepared to unplug. If needed, cell service is available about half a mile away.

Had such a wonderful time here! The whole glamping setup was beautiful, cozy, and had everything we needed. The bell tent was super comfortable, and it was so nice having the queen mattress and bedding already set up. We also loved having the cooking supplies, cooler, fire pit, and heater. All of the extra amenities just made camping feel so easy! The site itself was gorgeous and peaceful, surrounded by nature and perfect for relaxing. Our group had an amazing time, and it was such a fun way to get away and enjoy the outdoors without giving up the comforts of home. We’d definitely come back and I would definitely recommend to anyone who wants to be “outdoors” without giving up all the luxuries that you have to when tent camping.
The host of the site always went the extra mile with helping us out. He assisted us in getting all of our stuff to the site, setting up the propane fire, and gave great recommendations for hiking in the area. Thanks for a great time Tim!

Wideawake has a wonderful vibe - family friendly but also can be an adults getaway. They are quick to come help at your site, driving out to bring us nice bandages when my son got a cut (without being asked), and are always pleasant and easy going. The location is amazing, the lake has paddleboards to borrow — and our kids’ favorite part, they’ll make a Hot tub for you at your campsite for an extra few bucks (using a trough) that can fit several people. We’ve come twice and it’s going to be our annual camp trip the weekend before school starts.

Paul and Robin’s Library Schoolhouse rental is so awesome! The rental is a one room cabin decorated like an old schoolhouse on the prairie. Super cute and very comfortable. There is a very clean toilet and shower room on the side of the building. We went for a peaceful night of stargazing. The views were breathtakingly clear of the Milky Way, constellations, with the Sande Cristo mountains at the forefront. Gorgeous.
Paul met us at the gate and gave us some great information about the area and their land. He and his wife have put so much love and hard work into this property. We can’t wait to go back and experience other seasons in the alpine desert.

Tim's place was amazing to us as a family. He was very attentive and helpful throughout the time we were there. The lookout scenery was amazing from high-up in the camp site. The location of the camp is excellent with easy access to different nearby tourist town. Literally we only need to bring our food, pack-and-play, things for the kids; and Tim provided almost everything our family needs. We also went fishing in nearby lakes and reservoirs which are a short drive from the camp. We did not have the chance to use his kayaks, but definitely next time we will!

Great rustic cabin with beautiful views and solitude! Lots of nice seating-particularly loved the bench swing. Not too far from Nederland but I definitely felt away. As described, small cabin with no electricity or running water but enough space to do yoga inside or on the deck. Bed/futon was lumpy and springy but fine with my sleep pad and sleeping bag on top. More sleep pads available up in the loft. Perfect for a solo trip to get away! I will be back!

We snagged this spot for a 1-night getaway from the city. Easy to find, quiet and lovely. The host was friendly and welcoming. We left regretting we didn't take advantage of the soak, but loved using the pond and exploring. Recommend for those wanting an easy spot to land amongst the trees + a clean watering hole!

Amazing glamp site! Tents are in awesome shape, the Aspen grove is incredible, the cows are friendly and adorable, and Belinda and Todd are super nice. We will be back!

This was our first experience glamping and it was great! Tim is very tentative and works hard to make sure you have everything you need. He also gave us some great tips on must see attractions around Alma. We can’t wait for our next visit!
