A-Lodge Boulder is a 30 room lodge just 2 miles above downtown Boulder, Colorado. We are located in a wilderness area of Boulder Canyon, right at the junction with Fourmile Canyon. We have three #vanlife sites and four tentsites for offer on Hipcamp. We have a BRAND NEW barrel sauna, hot tub, grills, seasonal pool (Memorial Day to Labor Day), meeting space, outdoor beer garden, bathrooms and showers for campers and a wonderful trail to Betasso Preserve right from your campsite. The Fourmile Creek runs through our property along our large lawn area. Great views and you might see bear, deer, elk, moose, foxes, or even a mountain lion! Walk-in sites are just a short hike, about 100 feet, on an unmanicured trail to our platforms. We provide the platform for your tent as well as access to all of our lodge's amenities; front desk, lobby, bar & beer garden, fire pits, grills, bathrooms, shower, outdoor common areas, free wifi, etc. Our guests love us too! Bliss Canyon features 4 accommodations: 2 Gypsy Wagon Campers and 2 spacious Tent Cabins and a boondocking RV site. Teardrop camper sleeps 2 as an addition to any accommodation. The open-air, covered Kitchens have sinks, fresh, potable hot water, kitchenware, gas stove —pots, pans, dishes, utensils, etc, BBQ with side burner, critter-resistant food safe, bear-proof trash can, and picnic table outside. We provide a convenient propane campfire for safety since our climate is dry and often windy. No candles or open flames please. Limited WIFI available. There are easy trails on property along the lush stream (the original riverbed of the Middle Saint Vrain Stream), fishing or swimming in the pond (no lifeguard on duty), or challenging trails into Roosevelt National Forest from the property. (Ask Hiker Dot for guidance.) Several National Forest access points, where you can enjoy peaceful walks away from crowds, are a short drive. New this year Bliss Camp is adding a 12' x 14' Glamping Tent Cabin. Bliss Canyon is a spur off of breathtaking, picturesque South Saint Vrain Canyon. Stroll on over to the South or Middle for renowned fly fishing. For climbers, there are over 50 climbs in South Saint Vrain Canyon! Dark Skies:  If you like to watch the stars and meteor showers, Bliss Canyon is blessed with dark skies with little light from the plains. Bring your telescopes and explore the Universe. Rocky Mountain National Park, one of the five Crown Jewels of the National Park Service, is nearby. The closest trailhead in RMNP is 10 miles, the next trailhead at Wild Basin entrance to the park is 13 miles, and the Beaver Meadows entrance (main entrance) is 36 miles. Rocky Mountain National Park has breathtaking drives, easy strolls with interpretive signs, and 360 miles of trails. (Advance reservation required for entry 9:00 am to 3:00 pm for main park, or 5:00 am to 6:00 pm for Bear Lake corridor.) Indian Peaks Wilderness also has several nearby access points and trailheads. Ask Dot for details. The charming town of Lyons is 20 minutes away with coffee shops, restaurants, bars, lots of great live music, and quaint shops. Also, Spirit Hound Distillery received the award for the #1, Best Whiskey in the World in 2022, hmmm, it might be worth a tasting! Due to our popularity reservations often fill up quickly. We suggest you make your reservations in advance especially if you have a group to rent the entire camp. At times there are last minute cancelations which allows for last minute openings. PLEASE READ IN ITS ENTIRETY The Rabbit Hole Ranch offers beautiful night skies with little to no light pollution and unobstructed views of the majestic Blanca Massif. The Great Sand Dunes and Zapata Falls is just a (gorgeous) 35 minute drive. Camping here at the Rabbit Hole Ranch is primitive and dispersed (no numbered sites) and there 30 acres available for you to use. Just follow the signs to the designated area and pick out a spot you like. Some spots have fire rings, some don’t. We are working on getting more, but in the meantime you’re welcome to bring your own. Or feel free to dig out a little hole. It works great and is easy to extinguish when you fill it back in and bury it. Please do not bury any trash. Typically, you will experience a rare kind of solitude and silence that feels…. other-worldly, with incredible sunrises and sunsets filling the enormous skies. On holidays, however, expect it to be busy. Our dogs are working dogs and they are more than happy to help keep you and your pets safe. Please help make their jobs easier by not leaving any food or trash in or around tents. Please keep your pets on leash or under control until you’re comfortably certain they get along with our dogs. And please report any issues promptly. This year we have a new Great Pyrenees to greet you, her name is Boudicca and she’s excited to meet everyone! Returning this season is 12 year old KayLee, also a GP and and Finn, our little dude from Alaska. Quiet time begins at 10:00 pm. Note: Holidays still offer the excellent location and spectacular views, but are likely to be less quiet and far more busy. We typically do not strictly enforce quiet time during holidays.

Welcome to Camp Wilder! We are an off-the-beaten-path camp offering peace and solitude. The cabin is very special to my family and me. It was passed down as a mining claim from my grandmother who founded it in the '60s. The vision for the land was simply perfect. A small 10 x 10 cabin with the whole mountain to explore and whoever they wished to bring with them. The town of Nederland is 10 minutes down the road where you can fish at Baker Reservoir. Lots of fun little stores in town to keep the family busy. Wildlife is everywhere up by the cabin/campsite, always remember don't leave food lying around with lots of great things to look for around the magical town of Nederland. The cabin sleeps up to 8 with the futon downstairs being very comfortable and 3" foam upstairs in the loft for more sleeping area. Bring your sleeping bags to stay cozy at night. There are lanterns inside to light up your night with a wood stove to keep you warm at night. The ground around it is sloped so you may have a hard time setting up any tents around the cabin. The grocery store is in Nederland where you can buy food, Coleman green propane bottles, gallon jugs of water and wood. There is a 3 burner Coleman, stove to cook on with limited pots & pans as well as silverware. Road disclaimer, the road to the cabin is one lane dirt road. The drive up to the cabin is pretty good but the turn onto the single dirt road to the cabin has a slight dip, if you have a low-clearance car it may bottom out when you are turning so be careful. No Trailers. They will not be able to turn around once there. Recommend vehicles with AWD. Go 3.4 miles up Caribou road. Turn right @ yellow stakes go .4 miles. Park on the left. Hike down to the cabin between yellow stakes. We are @ 10,000 feet and it is a slight hike to the cabin. Go 3.4 miles up Caribou road. Turn right @ yellow stakes go .4 miles When leaving please make sure both door locks are locked, put the key in the lock box and mix the code for the next camper.

Overnight, Seasonal, and Extended Stay Camping, we are open year-round. We have 30/50amp sites (shade and partial shade) around our lake, 20 amp in the "upper campground," and dry camping (full facilities) along the Arkansas River (Gold Medal fishing) with access for all campers for fishing and floating. Many of our sites are great for star-gazing, watching meteors, looking for fireflies, and seeing the birds zip on by. We are conveniently located on Hwy 50, in Bighorn Sheep Canyon, and have all sorts of rental options for your outdoor adventure needs. Whether you want to pitch a tent, try out the glamping experience, enjoy the convenience of an RV, or rent one of our fully equipped RVs, we have the perfect spot for you. We have four entrances marked by sail flags into the campground, two by the lake, one near the bathhouse, and one by the post office (on our property). The map of the Arkansas River has our campground listed! Adventure awaits with home to the highest mountain peaks in Colorado and the river and 102 miles of Trout Gold Medal Water. There is access to white water rafting, guided fishing, and fishing lessons. There are at least 5 hot springs within 60 miles of Twin Bridges Campground. Salida is considered the white-water rafting capitol of the US by some and has a whitewater park and surfing wave. Salida area is also home to a ton of hiking (14'ers anyone?) and mountain biking trails. The Royal Gorge is a quick 30 minute drive with restaurants and other fun near Canon City. The Sand Dunes are 90 minutes and Monarch Ski Area is 45, we have some of the best bird watching! Warbling Vireo, Western Wood-peewee, Cassin's Kingbird to name a few.

We came all the way from Chicago and it was well worth the drive! The amenities were amazing, especially considering we were all the way in the middle of a canyon! We still had AC plugs, hot water for the shower, a working kitchen sink and two burner stove. Beautiful views, the sounds of the creek, and the birds were so calming. The campers were so comfy, we slept better than we did in the hotels on the way there. Swimming in the swimming holes during the day was so fun and kept us nice and cool. We would 1000% stay here again.

Holy smokes what a perfect place! Only an hour from Denver and yet it feels like you’re away from everything! All details and amenities are accounted for - from the darling tent with a four-poster bed and flannel sheets to the fabulous outdoor kitchen - fully stocked with everything you need and the cutest lights. The outdoor is a good time. Games like bean toss and axe throwing are available - plus darling spots to shut and have a coffee or watch the views. Definitely take a plunge in the river and lay out in the sun after. The hike to see wildflowers is wonderful. What a wonderful way to spend a weekend!

We just got back from an incredible stay at Starlite Vintage RV Resort, and let me tell you—it was everything we didn’t know we needed. From the quick, hassle-free check-in to the spotless grounds, everything was on point. We stayed in the Betty Boop RV and it was adorable. Vintage charm with modern comfort—clean, cozy, and full of character. It felt like stepping into a romantic time capsule (but thankfully with hot water and a comfy bed). Perfect for a couples’ getaway with just the right amount of quirk. The heated pool was an awesome surprise—great for a relaxing dip after a day of adventuring and soaking in those ridiculously stunning views. Seriously, everywhere you look is postcard-worthy. The bathhouse and shared bathrooms? Spotless. Like, “do they have a secret cleaning fairy?” level spotless. While it was a romantic weekend for us, we couldn’t help but notice how family-friendly the whole place was too—play areas, pool fun, and wide open space. We’ll definitely be back and could see bringing the whole crew next time (but also… might just escape for another couple’s weekend again first ). Highly recommend if you’re looking for something fun, unique, and full of good vibes. Retro magic in the mountains!

We stayed in the Mustang Tipi. It was an amazing experience! The grounds are full of things to do ... we played ping pong and sat on the swing set to watch the sunset. Everyone (guests) were friendly and the vibe was laid back. The check in process is easy and you cannot beat the night sky! My kids are already asking to come back again and stay for longer. Absolutely recommend!

What a beautiful property that is impeccably maintained by Belinda and Todd. I loved staying in the Aspen Grove; it was so peaceful. The sites were set up with everything we needed, including chairs, gas fire with propane provided, lamps in the tent, etc, etc. The shower was also really nice; not usually something you expect when camping. Belinda and Todd were great and very helpful. Our kids really enjoyed interacting with the animals on the farm, too (with permission). Thank you!

My lovely lady and I booked a last minute get away from responsibilities trip here, jumped on my Harley and just winged it with a sleeping bag and essentials. It was the right decision and we enjoyed sitting at the fire late into the night conversing without the distractions of cell phones or the outside world. The host is down to earth and welcoming. The cabin is primitive and rustic which was exactly what we wanted and saved us from having to strap a tent to the bike also. Will definitely be back to enjoy this little slice of peace in the future! Cheers!

Stayed here for a long weekend in the mountains. Views and temps were great and the cabin felt private. Be careful to follow the directions to get there- Google maps alone can take you on some funky routes on the dirt roads nearby. Be aware the land surrounding the cabin is quite sloped, and you’ll have to climb a metal utility ladder ten feet up to get to the loft - that might not be for everyone.

I loved the location. Beautiful view of the water steps away. Very private. The bed was comfortable with linens provided. If you’re visiting in the summer months I would highly recommend bringing an extra fan or 2. Check in was seamless. The views are amazing. Great location for your 4 legged pup. Coffee post, mini fridge and microwave were a great plus. I would also bring mosquito spray and bug zapper. I only had to use mine the last day. You are able to see the rafters from the front porch. Great place to unwind and peaceful.

This was absolutely my FAVORITE place I’ve ever camped, and I’ve camped in a lot of places!!! All aspects of the land, the facilities and the wagons were so meticulously thought out and maintained. You could feel the labor and love Dot and Byron put into building this sanctuary. The only thing that was wrong was that I had to leave!! I’ve told everybody who asked about my trip that visiting Bliss Camp is a MUST! I can’t wait to return!!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Welcome to our charming 2-acre farm nestled in East Boulder. Just minutes from town - near road biking trails, shopping and restaurants. A great pitstop on your way to the mountains - or base camp for the Front Range. We aren't fancy, but we are convenient, cozy and safe. Gate code will be provided 48 hours before arrival. NOTE: MOSQUITOES ARE BAD COME SUNSET - Nothing a campfire can't fix. We have spots in the meadow for RVs, Vans, Trailers, Rooftops and Tents. The grounds are a bit sloped but I provide leveling boards (please leave them behind). You may have neighbors, as it is literally an open meadow. We have a 4 meter canvas tent complete with a queen sized bed, fans, chairs, and a wood burning stove. We can handle RVs around 45 feet - truck and trailer. It’s a big field, but a narrow, winding and steep ramp to get in and out. If you are a nervous driver, perhaps choose another place to rest your head. We have a community fire pit with a pile of free burn wood, though the big logs are getting few and far between; bringing your own firewood is recommended, as well as an ax or saw If it's windy, please skip the fire... the BFD is very strict about this!! We have well water feeding a solar shower (only hot when the sun shines) and sink - non potable. We have a cold water plunge pool continually refreshed from the creek. I just built a new filter!! It’s a saving grace in the summertime. We have a community gas grill - please donate to the propane fund. We have fresh eggs up at the coop. Please help yourself. Watch out for the rooster. The chickens free range during the day, so KEEP AN EYE ON YOUR DOGS; leash if necessary. Our toilet is a porta john, pumped clean every Thursday. THE GOOD: *Easy in and out location close to town *Lots of sun *Outdoor solar shower *Cold creek water plunge pool *Fresh eggs *Good view of small airplanes *Community fire ring *Community gas grill THE BAD: *Mosquitoes!!!
