Each 2-person tent includes a wood stove and propane heater (firewood and propane included), a queen memory foam bed with bedding, a cook stove with supplies, and a cooler. Water is delivered to each site. Cassette toilets are provided in each tent during the winter season.
Due to fire restrictions each Glamping Site has a propane fire pit. The 3 campsites have propane fire pits with $20 propane tank fee or campsite guests can provide their own propane tank.

A-Lodge Boulder is a 30 room lodge just 2 miles above downtown Boulder, Colorado. We are located in a wilderness area of Boulder Canyon, right at the junction with Fourmile Canyon. We have three #vanlife sites and four tentsites for offer on Hipcamp.
We have a BRAND NEW barrel sauna, hot tub, grills, seasonal pool (Memorial Day to Labor Day), meeting space, outdoor beer garden, bathrooms and showers for campers and a wonderful trail to Betasso Preserve right from your campsite. The Fourmile Creek runs through our property along our large lawn area. Great views and you might see bear, deer, elk, moose, foxes, or even a mountain lion!
Walk-in sites are just a short hike, about 100 feet, on an unmanicured trail to our platforms. We provide the platform for your tent as well as access to all of our lodge's amenities; front desk, lobby, bar & beer garden, fire pits, grills, bathrooms, shower, outdoor common areas, free wifi, etc.
A-Lodge has a 7-day non-refundable cancellation policy. If you cancel within 7 days of your arrival, 50% of the total is non-refundable.

Welcome to Camp Wilder! We are an off-the-beaten-path camp offering peace and solitude.
The cabin is very special to my family and me. It was passed down as a mining claim from my grandmother who founded it in the '60s. The vision for the land was simply perfect.
A small 10 x 10 cabin with the whole mountain to explore and whoever they wished to bring with them.
The town of Nederland is 10 minutes down the road where you can fish at Baker Reservoir. Lots of fun little stores in town to keep the family busy.
Wildlife is everywhere up by the cabin/campsite, always remember don't leave food lying around with lots of great things to look for around the magical town of Nederland.
The cabin sleeps up to 8 with the futon downstairs being very comfortable and 3" foam upstairs in the loft for more sleeping area. Bring your sleeping bags to stay cozy at night. There are lanterns inside to light up your night with a wood stove to keep you warm at night. The ground around it is sloped so you may have a hard time setting up any tents around the cabin.
The grocery store is in Nederland where you can buy food, Coleman green propane bottles, gallon jugs of water and wood. There is a 3 burner Coleman, stove to cook on with limited pots & pans as well as silverware.
Road disclaimer, the road to the cabin is one lane dirt road. The drive up to the cabin is pretty good but the turn onto the single dirt road to the cabin has a slight dip, if you have a low-clearance car it may bottom out when you are turning so be careful.
No Trailers. They will not be able to turn around once there.
Recommend vehicles with AWD. Go 3.4 miles up Caribou road. Turn right @ yellow stakes go .4 miles. Park on the left. Hike down to the cabin between yellow stakes.

When leaving please make sure both door locks are locked, put the key in the lock box and mix the code for the next camper.

This is a beautiful 40 acre ranch on Hastings Mesa with views of Alder Canyon and Hayden’s Peak. You can hear Alder Creek flowing through the canyon from the comfort of your campsite. Many nearby options for bicycling, hiking, kayaking and skiing… even backcountry, in the area. Once you pull out the driveway you are a few minutes from Last Dollar Ranch Road (hike, bike, or 4x4) where True Grit was filmed, and about a 25 minute (weather depending) drive to Telluride, 35 minutes to Ridgway, and 35 minutes to Norwood. Just outside of Ridgway is Orvis Hot Springs, and more hot springs and a vapor cave can be found in Ouray. The property offers access to Alder Creek and our beaver ponds down in the canyon. The fields are blanketed with Iris and clematis flowers in May and June and other wild flowers throughout the summer including pentstemon, larkspur, and wild roses. There are patches of scrub oak and fields with cinquefoil bushes in the camping areas, and as you go down in the canyon there are aspen groves, blue spruce, and ponderosa pines. The backside of the property is up against BLM land, which everyone is welcome to.

Weekend Trip to High Camp, Leadville, Colorado
Super nice little cabin for two, and a secondary flat turf spot for tent camping. Chris offers a full service experience! He'll build your fire and even cook if you'd like! We were completely over prepared. The shower has hot water, there is a grill, and a personal butane burner in the cabin, there's an outhouse, and everything is hand crafted and clearly a labor of love. Setup a chair and watch wildlife walk right up to you, or wander up the winding trails behind the property. The site is only 25 minutes north of Leadville, so your backyard consists of world class hiking and biking. Camp Hale is just a few minutes north up the road for the history buffs, and Ski Cooper just a few minutes south. My girlfriend and I enjoyed the site and the host's company immensely and we intend to return to see Sando's vision continue to come to life!

Our family a really nice time in the Explorer site. It includes a futon for extra guests, and the beds were made when we got there. Dot walked us through everything even though it was pretty late when we arrived. It was a nice change from camping in our own tent - having running water, a gas grill and stove, and solar-powered lighting. There's two shallow ponds at the center of the campground where you can swim/dip your feet if you want.

We had such a lovely weekend stay here! Such a calm and cozy space with an incredible, expansive view. The place also had paper bowls/plates/pots/pans/trash bag and other essentials, which was so lovely just in case anything was forgotten. Just far enough away from town that it felt private, while also being a quick drive to the great local pizza joint. We were a party of five + one small pup and fit comfortably. We will definitely be back!

The land looking out from the tipi's is beautiful and with the mountains behind it, makes one take a deep breath of wonder. Sunrise is glorious too.
There is electricity in the tipi's with a lamp and a fan plus an outlet for your phone/laptop too.
My dog loved it as much as I did .
Stacy is very helpful and friendly, thus a great addition. There is also an outdoor kitchen which I wasn't aware of prior. All around, a lovely experience.

This was an amazing experience! Such a special/ sacred, remote and beautiful place. We hiked up, thinking we were pretty acclimated to the altitude , being in Boulder and then Vail for a few days, but quickly realized the altitude was hitting us hard. We made it after about a 3.5 hour gorgeous trek. Pro- tip- if you are planning to filter water, do so BEFORE you get to Holy Cross City. We waited and then had to come back down a ways as there wasn’t a close water source to the cabin. Unfortunately my body was having trouble acclimating throughout the first night. If you are new to the altitude, like us Minnesota girls, do your due diligence and have a satellite communication device. We had one, luckily didn’t need to use it but it gave me some comfort when I was physically struggling to know it was there. I would definitely recommend this spot to seasoned altitude seekers- ! Unfortunately for us we had to cut the trip a day short due to the tough altitude symptoms. I still feel grateful and proud of this experience and will always hold it close to my heart. Like any good true wilderness experience, I left feeling a greater respect for Mother Nature, humbled, and in awe.

1 night at High Camp, Leadville, Colorado
The cabin was amazing and had a heater! There was plenty to do around his property with lots of cool history nearby as well. Chris was an outstanding host! He really went above and beyond our entire stay and was a great guy to sit around the fire with.
