Amy and her tiny home far exceeded our expectations. The host and location could not have been a better fit. Even with my scheduling conflicts she made it happen. Highly recommended and looking forward to our next chance to reserve the tiny house.

Sherwood Creek Quaint Treehouse
I spent a night at the tree house with my two boys (9 and 6), they loved the structure and it is super charming. The area around the tree house is great with a picnic table, firepit and fairly level spot for a tent.
There are other camping/tiny house spots about 50 feet from the tree house, and the porta potty is close enough that we heard the door slamming all morning from other campers using it. Not a dealbreaker but I wish we had known that ahead of time.
The directions to the site on Google Maps from the Hipcamp app take you to the wrong place, it's better to try to follow the directions written out by the host in the app.

Great experience, the dog is super sweet. But she got the dates mixed up so instead of changing the sheets she just gave us new ones, but she was super nice. Was super excited for the trampoline but it was not there anymore :((

I loved tent camping at Amy’s land. It was such a beautiful, peaceful site. The amenities are an excellent addition to this site. You get peace and quiet while not being to far out that it feels scary. I would definitely visit again.

The tiny home was comfortable for three and beautiful inside. It’s in a very wooded area, we saw a moose in the yard. We had a cozy fire inside and a fire for roasting marshmallows outside. Good hiking near by. We didn’t have towels. The host brought us some when we asked. The sign on the compost toilet inside asked that you don’t use it, with a portapotty across the lot.

Sherwood Creek Quaint Treehouse
Amy’s Treehouse was the perfect retreat spot. It’s 12 minutes from town, yet still feels like you’re dispersed camping with the campfire ability and seclusion amid Nederland’s forest. Would recommend this for anyone who wants a cozy, quaint stay without having to camp. Bathroom facilities were extremely clean too. We will be back!
P.S. The husky was the cherry on top!

Great spot for my 11yr old and me to stay for the night. Tent spot was nice and private, super clean Port a Potty, and pretty drive to the property! We even got to see 5 female turkeys wander through the property twice. Would stay again!

Amy’s property was beautiful. It was little hard to find but once I got my correct bearings it easy. Treehouse is amazing and worth the climb up. It’s small but very cozy. They had some great reading material available! I highly recommend staying with Amy!

Beautiful campsite with extremely clean bathroom. The host was difficult to contact, and didn't answer most messages (which was frustrating), but the directions and information provided on the listing is accurate! Pay attention to the signs as you drive in from Nederland- your GPS will likely be wrong.

We had a wonderful stay at the tree house. The space is beautiful, clean, and private. The bathroom is very close by and was immaculate. The hosts were friendly and helpful (even helping us jump start a dead car battery). And Nukka the husky is just the cherry on top. Highly recommend. We will be back for sure!

Breathtaking drive up to Amy’s land & in July so many varieties of wildflowers popping off! Amy was so responsive and helpful and welcoming and let us upgrade to her tiny house which is a piece of art and sanctuary. Me and my three children were in fairy land heaven here!! So spacious and comfortable and private even with the other two accommodations nearby, our entrance faces the side of a mountain forest, alive with the nourishment of nature. We took one of the most epic hikes of our life on her property to an unbelievable look out point! I would enjoy booking any of her spots, the treehouse & the tent camping site, all so well maintained…& the tiny house so accommodating with easy cooking & lounging!

The tent site was great, and had everything that was needed! It was really difficult finding the site and the host was not responsive but luckily there was a neighbor that guided us to the site. Far from the other two sites no one was staying, but I doubt you’d be able to hear.

Amy’s property was the perfect place for our family gathering. It offered tent spots for those who wanted to camp and ample indoor options for those who wanted a little more comfort. It is charming and cozy.
The only thing the group was a little disappointed in was the cleanliness of the indoor spaces/ property. However we had a great time, and I would go there again.

the tiny house was so quaint and cozy with beautiful details, a working stove, large refrigerator, a very warm shower and kitchen sink. the surrounding area is beautiful and comes with the best dog host named Nukka.

Lovely secluded spot nestled along the creek. Suited our needs perfectly with sons sleeping in tent and I in the treehouse. Amy was a kind and gracious host and I would definitely camp/glamp there again.

Camping on Amy’s land was great! Beautiful spot. Loved that it was secluded and quiet. Felt like you were out in the middle of nowhere and it was set up so perfectly. And the dog who hung out in camp was a perfect add on.

This was a great, quiet camping spot! As long as you follow directions and look for signs, it’s pretty easy to find the campsite. The campsite has a porta potty and a jug of potable water which you can either park by or park up the short (but very rocky) path right up to the campsite. The best part was the welcoming committee of a very sweet white husky who escorted us to our campsite and kept us company for a while. Amy greeted us and was very kind and informative about nearby trails. There was super easy access to the Sherwood Forest Trail that connects to other trails in the Boulder County Open Space and goes to an old mining area. The site was peaceful with the creek running nearby and had perfect trees to hang a hammock. There was also plenty of seating between a picnic table and logs around the fire pit. Would highly recommend!

We loved our stay here with our two little boys. The tree house was just a little warmer than our tent with a space heater if it got too cold. The small stream was so nice to listen to while falling asleep. (And made putting out the fire easy). There was a beautiful hike filled with wild flowers in June. The trail head was a short walk down the road. Appreciated ample water and firewood as well!

Amy's place was exactly as described and was tucked away while still being close to the restaurants in Nederland. Our favorite part was her adorable pup, Nucca, who kept us company the entire time we were there.

Wow! I absolutely loved staying at Amy’s! It was extremely private , well maintained and a great place for an old group of friends to reconnect! We stayed in the tent site. Amy came by and introduced herself and was a lovely host!

Had a great time at the site! We were able to fit 4 guys in the trailer and 2 in the tree house. We had 3 more at the tent site. All the sites are close to each other, but far enough that you don't hear each other snore. The trailer had running water, a stove/oven, and a fridge which made it comfty. There was multiple miles of trails nearby that we saw deer and what we thought was a moose (may have been elk). We also went to Rockie Mountain National Park an hour away and went to Sky Pond. This was very challenging, but very worth it. Finaly, we went to Boulder half an hour away and enjoyed the night life. Over all lots of fun at and around the site!

What a beautiful slice of Colorado! A picturesque spot footsteps away from the running creek that added a peaceful soundtrack to this wonderfully green campsite. A short drive to Nederland could refill all the supplies you need, while feeling world’s away when nestled among the trees around the campfire. This was exactly what I was looking for in a campsite and will definitely be returning to Amy’s at either the tent site or one of the other structures nearby (tree house and small cabin). Nucca, the watchdog, was also a joy to see! Coming by to say ‘Hello’ and disappearing before I knew she had gone. This is truly a gorgeous spot!
