The treehouse is so quaint and cozy! Perfect for the kids. We loved exploring the 25 acre property with Nukka the goodest girl. Great access to Nederland for some "townie" fun.
The treehouse was the perfect solo getaway for me! I enjoyed the quiet location. The temperature was perfect. 60s/70s at the end of July. Close to lots of opportunities to explore. I plan to bring my daughter with me next year!

Sherwood Creek Quaint Treehouse
We loved staying at the treehouse. It was a cool and new experience for us. We booked for three nights but unfortunately had to cut our trip short and stayed one night. Amy was very kind and understanding with our situation. It was a cute little treehouse, comfortable and loved how her sweet dog came to greet us and even stayed near our treehouse for a while. It is also nice to have a spot to tent camp if needed. Thank you Amy for being a great host. Wish we could have stayed longer. We hope to be back soon!!
Beautiful spot to camp! Host was super friendly, as was her dog that spent a lot of time hanging with us. It was nice and secluded with a great view of the stars
Lovely quiet spot! Very enjoyable location with lovely trees and plants. And a house dog that is a darling.
We did struggle to find it with Google gps taking us to the main street and having us walk in. It then wanted us to take a very dicey 4x4 road. When we finally just looked at the map on hip camp the right roads were very clear. I wold recommend just looking at the map and not listening to gps once on the dirt road after Nederland
Wonderful first family camping trip! We loved Nuuka the huskie, the clean and comfy tree house, and well kept campsite that left plenty of room for our kids to run around and explore safely. Can’t wait to come back!

My husband and I celebrated his 67th Birthday by staying in the Tree House.
The loft bed was very comfortable.
The camping area was beautiful and relaxing!
The port-a-potty was a short walk away, and well maintained.
The dog Nukka was so sweet. I loved having her check in on us throughout the day!
Amy was was very kind.
We would love to go back again!
We loved camping on Amy’s property! She same by and introduced herself and was very kind and welcoming. The port-a-potty was VERY clean, so that was appreciated. There was an abundance of potable water and the directions to get up to the site were very helpful! There is little to no cell service at the site, but we made the very short drive to downtown Nederland when we needed to use our phones. One thing to note: we did see a couple of ticks throughout our time, so make sure to pack a bug spray that repels ticks! Nukka the husky was very sweet and showed us to our site. She continued to check on us throughout our trip! It was a fantastic experience and I highly recommend camping here! No notes! We will definitely be coming back!

The tent spot was as described, nice and secluded with a flat spot for the tent. Bathroom was very clean. Saw a bear so keep a clean camp!
Directions were easy to follow - though while it looks simple to get to from the north side too (past caribou ranch) we ended up bailing on trying to find it that way and went back to follow the directions from Nederland. Easy from there!

We enjoyed our stay on Amy’s land. Access to a porta potty was awesome, and they had water available as well. Felt the right balance of secluded but also close to amenities if we needed them.
They had a very friendly dog who would visit us around meal times. We had a little trouble finding the location, so make sure to read the instructions and look closely for signs.
We would highly recommend this location for anybody looking for a cute camping spot with a few perks.

Amy and her tiny home far exceeded our expectations. The host and location could not have been a better fit. Even with my scheduling conflicts she made it happen. Highly recommended and looking forward to our next chance to reserve the tiny house.

I spent a night at the tree house with my two boys (9 and 6), they loved the structure and it is super charming. The area around the tree house is great with a picnic table, firepit and fairly level spot for a tent.
There are other camping/tiny house spots about 50 feet from the tree house, and the porta potty is close enough that we heard the door slamming all morning from other campers using it. Not a dealbreaker but I wish we had known that ahead of time.
The directions to the site on Google Maps from the Hipcamp app take you to the wrong place, it's better to try to follow the directions written out by the host in the app.

Great experience, the dog is super sweet. But she got the dates mixed up so instead of changing the sheets she just gave us new ones, but she was super nice. Was super excited for the trampoline but it was not there anymore :((
I loved tent camping at Amy’s land. It was such a beautiful, peaceful site. The amenities are an excellent addition to this site. You get peace and quiet while not being to far out that it feels scary. I would definitely visit again.
The tiny home was comfortable for three and beautiful inside. It’s in a very wooded area, we saw a moose in the yard. We had a cozy fire inside and a fire for roasting marshmallows outside. Good hiking near by. We didn’t have towels. The host brought us some when we asked. The sign on the compost toilet inside asked that you don’t use it, with a portapotty across the lot.

Sherwood Creek Quaint Treehouse
Amy’s Treehouse was the perfect retreat spot. It’s 12 minutes from town, yet still feels like you’re dispersed camping with the campfire ability and seclusion amid Nederland’s forest. Would recommend this for anyone who wants a cozy, quaint stay without having to camp. Bathroom facilities were extremely clean too. We will be back!
P.S. The husky was the cherry on top!

Great spot for my 11yr old and me to stay for the night. Tent spot was nice and private, super clean Port a Potty, and pretty drive to the property! We even got to see 5 female turkeys wander through the property twice. Would stay again!
Amy’s property was beautiful. It was little hard to find but once I got my correct bearings it easy. Treehouse is amazing and worth the climb up. It’s small but very cozy. They had some great reading material available! I highly recommend staying with Amy!

The host was difficult to contact, and didn't answer most messages (which was frustrating), but the directions and information provided on the listing is accurate! Pay attention to the signs as you drive in from Nederland- your GPS will likely be wrong.

We had a wonderful stay at the tree house. The space is beautiful, clean, and private. The bathroom is very close by and was immaculate. The hosts were friendly and helpful (even helping us jump start a dead car battery). And Nukka the husky is just the cherry on top. Highly recommend. We will be back for sure!
Breathtaking drive up to Amy’s land & in July so many varieties of wildflowers popping off! Amy was so responsive and helpful and welcoming and let us upgrade to her tiny house which is a piece of art and sanctuary. Me and my three children were in fairy land heaven here!! So spacious and comfortable and private even with the other two accommodations nearby, our entrance faces the side of a mountain forest, alive with the nourishment of nature. We took one of the most epic hikes of our life on her property to an unbelievable look out point! I would enjoy booking any of her spots, the treehouse & the tent camping site, all so well maintained…& the tiny house so accommodating with easy cooking & lounging!
The tent site was great, and had everything that was needed! It was really difficult finding the site and the host was not responsive but luckily there was a neighbor that guided us to the site. Far from the other two sites no one was staying, but I doubt you’d be able to hear.

Amy’s property was the perfect place for our family gathering. It offered tent spots for those who wanted to camp and ample indoor options for those who wanted a little more comfort. It is charming and cozy.
The only thing the group was a little disappointed in was the cleanliness of the indoor spaces/ property. However we had a great time, and I would go there again.

the tiny house was so quaint and cozy with beautiful details, a working stove, large refrigerator, a very warm shower and kitchen sink. the surrounding area is beautiful and comes with the best dog host named Nukka.
