Lovely view, hot shower, nice trail with flowers in bloom, quiet spot out of the way. Yet close to the Big Sur Marathon finish. More than I was hoping for. Just with the bathroom had been a bit closer, and the rain a little lighter.

It was welcoming to be greeted by a warm smile when I checked in. I was camping using my tent, but other options seem to more convenient. However, my favorite part was the mountains, trees everywhere and the smell of fresh air. In addition, this place is in close proximity to one of my favorite spots - Carmel by the Sea so I had to stop there before I went back home.

We had a wonderful time as a group of 8. This is a truly impressive property with lots of love and care all around. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed — just be sure to bring kitchen towels for drying dishes. Also recommend bringing eye masks as all the cabins have many windows/skylights w/o blackout curtains. Can’t wait to come back. An absolute gem.

Lisa and Scott are wonderful, hospitable hosts who were very welcoming and attuned to helping us get acclimated in their beautiful property. My husband, babies, and I really enjoyed our time there even if there was poor planning on my/hub's part. We'd totally give it another go when things warm up and our schedule opens up. --- The place was super clean, spacious, and calming. Their goats are adorable. Their huge outdoor kitchen was an awesome spot to lounge and cook up a good meal. -- Give this place a try!

Secret Gardens is a special and magical gem, we all loved our recent stay! Yenyen and Farbod treated us wonderfully, we felt so very welcome and celebrated. Everyone in my camping group is already making plans to return to Secret Gardens together. Showers and kitchen are set up fabulously. I, and all those in my group highly recommend. 1 night at San Juan Bautista Dog Friendly

Nancy was very communicative through the whole process. Her property is so relaxing and peaceful. We have a 30 ft class A and parked at the 50 amp site. We didnt have to do a lot of leveling. Since we were the only campers there, she allowed our dogs to run freely. Her land is entirely fenced. The pups loved it as much as we did. Bring some carrots to feed Hannah and Daisy (horse and donkey). They are very sweet. If you dont have any carrots, Nancy has treats on the table by the fence where instructions are posted on how to feed them. We will definitely visit again.

Overall a great little campground. We loved our site #37, we arrived late and the campground personnel were very accommodating in letting us switch from a site just above where our car and tent would not have fit. We like the little amenities that felt like luxuries when you are used to camping or backpacking. Like hot water at the bathrooms for hand washing and dishes , hot showers that were very nice and good pressure, and Reverse Osmosis drinking water. Our 3 yo twins enjoyed the playground! It is steep and took some watching to keep our I Kiddos away from the edges in the campsite. I wish early in the season that they allowed campfires, there is something quite soulless about having to burn a duralog, and i wish their staff cleaned the bathroom at a time other than mid morning when the bathrooms are in high demand. We enjoyed access to carmel, beaches, big sur, flower farm down the road, monterey and aquarium! We had a lovely week of camping and adventures!

Site 29 was close to the bathrooms and the hiking trail. We liked being able to take the dogs with us. There's a lot of poison oak and poison hemlock right off the trail. It's ok as long as you keep your dog on a 5'-6' leash.

1 night at Country Serenity With Resort Flare

What an awesome spot! We have been traveling in our van, which is fully remote capable, but we were really craving some sunshine and water after 2 weeks on the coast. This place was a little bit of a splurge for us, but worth every penny! We arrived early enough to enjoy the pool (which was amazing). In addition, the fully stocked outdoor kitchen was a huge treat! We made burgers on the grill, enjoyed the hot tub, then played a little basketball before retiring to our van. We met all the very friendly goats, enjoyed use of an indoor bathroom (a huge plus for campers) and had use of a full outdoor kitchen to do our dishes. The surrounding mountains provided stunning views. A shower is the only thing this place lacks, but most travelers don't require that every day. I'm wondering how much they will charge us if we stay full time?! 🤔 It was worth every penny! We highly recommend this place! The hosts were extremely helpful and accommodating. We had wifi, goats, views, a beautiful pool, basketball, room for our dog to roam, roosters alerting us to the rising sun, a very nice bathroom, coffee....it was perfect!

We had such a lovely stay!! Beautiful location, the staff were super friendly, and everything on site was very clean, calm, quiet, and peaceful. We particularly enjoyed the hot shower facilities, sitting by the pool next to the gas fire pits, and our tent. Will absolutely stay again for a premium quality experience!

Saddle Mountain was great! We camped at one of the regular campsites, and it was just like a public campground except for the awesome amenities. It was so nice to have an area to do dishes, shower, and hang out. We loved the sauna and propane firepits too! Plus all of the games and fun things you could borrow. 10/10 would recommend!

The beaches here are more peaceful and spread out as long as your eyes can see. We are 33 miles away from Monterey aquarium but you almost don't have to go anywhere when you are here. There are many things to do such as hiking at Land of Medicine Buddha or Forrest of Nisene Mark, Stroll around at Capitola Village, Have coffee and do awesome thrift shopping in downtown Aptos or in Soquel, Get some free foods from Free Food church on Wednesday evening (Yes, locally grown organic produce!), have a picnic on the cliff to watch the sunset, this town kind of remind you what's like to be in town without big boxes and franchise stores everywhere, life as its finest. This campground is also a great setting for your celebrations with two stages, a celebration area, a stone fired pizza oven and a sound systems (These are extras). If you bring your dog we have a trail for you to stroll around the property in a natural setting. We purposely do not a lot of pictures to keep this place mystical and a secret gem. We'd like to WOW you when you get here. What to expect: - Access to fully stocked kitchen: Propane powered grill and stove (commercial grade), refrigerators, freezer, pots, pans, utensils, kitchenware, dinnerware, basic spices and olive oil. - Hot showers and flushable toilettes - If you reserve a cabin, it comes with beddings (sheets, blankets, pillows) - A heater in your cabin What not to expect: - Towels - Free smores

This is camping made easy. No need to bring your cooking supplies, stoves, barbeque and dinnerwares ! We have them all. If you like to be social and have bonfire and have a nice chat with fellow campers , this is the place for you. We are committed to provide good beds and beddings because we know how important good sleep is (even when you camp!) so we just spent time, money and energy to replace all of our camping mattresses with memory foam mattresses!!! We had people swear that this is the best bed they ever slept in. The campground is located in a serene oak grove area of the property. Its a peaceful getaway with an abundance of bird varieties and occasional wild turkeys passing through. Take a stroll around our 5-acre property and catch a breathtaking sunset from the hillside. We're only 11 minutes away from Mount Madonna State Park and just 10 minutes from a local healthy grocery store and yoga studio. The beautiful Pajaro Dunes coastal area is just a 15-minute drive away, and the Santa Cruz Fairground is only two minutes away. Our location is surrounded by family friendly farms such as Gizdich ranch and nurseries, hence why it's considered the salad bowl of the United States. The Santa Cruz beaches are only 15-25 minutes away, while Monterey Bay Aquarium is just 30 minutes away and Gilroy Gardens is about 25 minutes away. The wine trail is also nearby.
