Literally just a strip of grass
This site, as it were, is literally just a tiny sloping grass area next to the pool fence. When I arrived I literally stood around scratching my head looking for the site before I realized that I was, apparently, standing in it. I managed to find a level-enough spot for my 1-person backpacking tent after a few tries, but anything much larger than that -- good luck. For what still worked out to north of 100 bucks for the night, I can't say I'm thrilled.
BUT, that said, welcome to impromtu getaways in the Bay Area. Nothing is cheap here and I'm glad I didn't have to drive 2+ hours home late at night. I was up in Boulder Creek for the night to see a show, and this place is a 5 minute walk from town. The hosts were communicative, and really nice. The pool could be a nice bonus on a summer day, and there's a restroom easily accessible and everything.
I'd totally stay at the place again, but .Oliver. specifically? Yeah probably not.

Glamping with every ammenity!
We loved tent camping here! Lots of space, easy to see parking signs, a pool, a kitchen, a picnic table, a bathroom with plumbing, and a gas powered fire pit all made it a perfect stay. It was so nice to be close to Boulder Creek but also just far enough it felt secluded. We will be back :)

Relaxing site in great location
We loved this camp site. The area for setting up the test was nice & flat and shaded by trees. The pool was a great bonus and we had the pleasure of seeing a wild deer walk right up to us to eat the fruit off the tree next to our tent. We would recommend to friends & stay again. The facilities are good especially the bathroom but other parts need a little bit of tlc to bring them up a notch. The kitchen area had no lighting and some of the wooden seating had seen better days.

Charming master room in Santa Cruz
My partner and I enjoyed our stay at the cozy and charming “Sam n Alex” 30 minutes to the heart of Santa Cruz. The residents were quiet, respectful and the place was clean.
The hosts had lots of thoughtful add-ons like coffee, water, extra napkins, spoons, etc. the hot tub was amazing and wish we had more time to enjoy the swimming pool! Overall it was a great place to stay at, and the price is also very reasonable. Thank you !!

R&R at Rudy Ranch!
Well-appointed, private, and super cute space! I was so glad to find this gem of a place for our 3-night stay. Hot tub was great. Everything was super clean. Gordon and Roni are very nice too. Got to meet a few other guests at the pool one day - all very nice! The next afternoon we had the pool to ourselves! Loved having use of the common fridge & freezer near the pool too. An unexpected bonus!

Just what you would hope for, a little funky in a good way. Pool was excellent. We plan to stay again.

La Rue
I loved the glamping tent at Rudy's Ranch! It was perfect, with a little bit of everything - quiet with views of nature, but close to town. The pool was also amazing, and it felt great to cool off. Though the glamping site is close to the host's house, everything was quiet and peaceful, and the bamboo fence made it feel totally private. Camping can be hard to find in this area, so La Rue was a great pit stop on my road trip!

Our stay was very relaxed and peaceful. The place was very cute and we enjoyed the pool and hot tub numerous times. It’s a very nice town with a handful of good food options, and our hosts were very helpful with suggestions, but also allowed us the privacy we needed to fully enjoy ourselves. Also within close distance to beaches and other sights :)

Pros:
The bed was huge and felt like sleeping on a cloud. The gorgeous redwood interior of the private bedroom insulate you from all sound, giving you a deep sense of peace. The hot tub sits underneath a view of tall trees and you can hear so many different types of birds at dawn. The location was perfect for trips into Boulder Creek (walking distance) and Santa Cruz.
Cons:
Room is small (but very comfy) so don’t bring a bulky suitcase. Very few outlets in the room, none in the bathroom. Skylight is beautiful but the sun will wake you up in the morning as there was no shade for it.

I was just passing through for a quick overnight while traveling and wanted a place that was among people had a shower and felt safe and this site checked my boxes. I wish I was passing through during the summer with more time so I could have enjoyed the pool. The little vintage shops in town were wonderful and I love the local radio station.

Sweet space
We loved staying here! The hosts were nice, responsive and accommodating. Loved the comfy bed, really loved the hot tub and being close to Henry Cowell State Park!
The room is off the hosts' kitchen/living area, so it isn't the most private/quiet. We didn't mind, and still found it peaceful and relaxing.
The fridge is very mini, and the coffee maker makes a lot of coffee. Nice to have a microwave for leftovers. This was a really sweet landing place for two people who love to spend the daylight hours outside.

Good in a pinch
Gosh, This worked for me, but I think it was somewhat overpriced and would not call this "Glamping". The bathroom was awkward to get to, actually a bit dangerous at night, and if you have arachnophobia, would definitely be a no. The pool equipment would go on at 5 AM and was loud. The bed was very comfortable, however.

Worked great for us. We needed a place near Santa Cruz to park our small motor home for a couple nights while in the area. Was a good home base for us while in town. Enjoyed walking into town for a bite to eat as well.

Lovely private spot, gracious hosts
Enjoyed our stay for 3 nights, waking up to coffee in the hot tub was heaven. Pack lightly as not much space to store things. One of the most comfortable beds I’ve slept in.

Low-key with some nice perks
Staying in Blanche was somewhere between camping and glamping - not a bad thing as it’s pretty much what we expected. The tent itself was very clean and tidy. Nice touches like pool towels and filtered water.
The tent was a bit cold as nighttime temps were in the 50s - so just be prepared for that.
We wished the sink in the shared public restroom had been cleaner. Otherwise the pool area has most everything you need including a grill sink and fridge.
The place doesn’t have a very private feel as you walk past the host’s living room to get to your tent and to the bathroom/pool area. However, they were friendly and offered to help us with anything we needed. I’d stay again!

La Rue
Pool Days & Antique Chic Nights
First time glamping was an incredible success. Tipi La Rue was curated for a fabulous and femme stay. The bed was comfy, but the antique sofa with plush seat covering was so luxurious I legitimately almost fell asleep there one night. I can’t get over how La Rue felt made for me: an independent woman’s getaway. I LOVED the mornings there.. the birds chirping, the sunrise lighting up the foliage and redwoods.. it was so magical sitting out on the tipi porch with my journal to experience it. Also, I was there for 4 nights and had the pool ALL DAYS to myself!!! So lucky. The pool was where everything except ur chic tipi is at: toilet, shower, big communal fridge to store ur snacks/booze/leftovers, and plenty of seating. If you’ve been camping and can handle some discomfort (walking to the flush toilet, having a hot water outdoor shower that might have lots of cobwebs that you use a nearby broom to wipe off, being the only ethnic person in town getting a coffee/bite/beer/morning coffee), this place is amazingggg. I will be back. Will probably make it a yearly solo retreat.

Wonderful weekend getaway
The site is very close to the center of Bolder Creek, but feels like it's in the middle of a remote redwood forest. The bed was extremely comfortable and the pool was a nice place to relax in the warmer hours of the day. I definitely would recommend and may be back myself sooner rather than later.

I would recommend this site for tent camping but not as much for camper van or rooftop tent as the place to park is quite narrow. The pool is a great addition although it’s not heated. Having a real toilet and sink is a luxury while camping as well as a functioning kitchen (bbq grill, table, electricity, sink) both just steps away. There was usually a line to use the bathroom in the mornings and evenings but we got to know the other campers. The pool and bathroom is right next to this site so there’s not a lot of privacy but we didn’t mind. The location is good and is definitely walking distance into downtown Boulder Creek. We also checked out Ben Lomond and Felton which are also great towns.
