Wendy and John, are wonderful hosts. The soup, baguettes 🥖 and cobbler with heavy cream on arrival was scrumptious. We had originally planned on a 3 night stay but we had so much we wanted to squeeze in for our vacation. We plan on returning in August. Our pups loved the open field, the beach is only a mile away and leash free!

Walking distance to the adorable small town of Miranda with a coffee shop, dinner spot or small market including fresh fruit and veg. The host was friendly and responsive. We will be back!

Weekend Trip to BIGFOOT FLAT on Willow Creek

This is the best campsite u could ask for! We come as many times a year that we can. Shannon is absolutely the best host you could ever ask for. The property is so beautiful. Watching the stars come out at night and watching the sun come up over the trees is indescribable. My dog loves walking around the property chasing the lizards lol but the crows are the entertainment! Do not leave anything on the tables lol they will take anything. I must say drinking my coffee and watching them loot the other tables is my favorite entertainment!

This was a perfect spot before we did the Lost Coast Trail. Pretty epic sunrise/sunset. The tent is close to the other tents, but no problems on that front or with the shared kitchen/bathroom. Alan was an awesome host!

Wendy’s farm was a great place to spend the night. Wendy stayed up late to greet us and give directions to our spot. The night was peaceful and quiet. The ocean roaring in the morning was very special. Thank you for having us stay on your land!

Another awesome stay at Wendy and John’s! Very clean, private and tranquil. Loved seeing deer jump the fence across the driveway as we were leaving this morning. The site was perfect and far enough from other sites that we felt like we were by ourselves, which is exactly what we wanted. Wendy and John are amazing hosts. Maybe next time we’ll stay more than one night so that we can actually try the shower. It looks pretty nice and is set up very well. It’s great to have more than one toilet available in the event one is in use and you really have to go. 😌 next time I will have to add on some extras to our booking. It’s great that there’s a table and chairs set up at each site along with a fire pit. Couldn’t ask for a better stay.

This is a beautiful site right on the coast. The sunsets over the ocean are amazing. Restrooms and showers very clean. Camp host friendly and helpful. Deli and shop great with lots of take away options. Wonderful wildlife on the beach and in the sea. Great restaurant just up the road. We loved it here.

Private, very quiet unless you are the noisy one. Long haul to get to the site but that's why its private. The continuous water hot water heater needs some adjustment before someone is injured. Wendy and John are nice folks.

Weekend Trip to Redwoods Rest Stop

Exactly what we needed on our trip down the coast. Very easygoing host who was happy to let us come and go as we needed and provided a convenient site with power, water, and a trash can. It's a cute setup by the garden and we were grateful to refresh and recharge there. Our mosquito-attracting family had the tiny misfortune of arriving at dusk and got a few bites. Just wear long sleeves if you are in Eureka, CA in late May and enjoy Andrew's hidden gem if you can book it.
