My partner and I loved staying here. Ted and Emily were kind enough to host us last minute, and it was such a fun little getaway. Fireplace and outdoor shower were my favorite amenities.
Hosts were flexible and quick to answer any messages.
Would definitely recommend 🙂

Bayside Cabin
I loved staying in th cabin. It was such a beautiful experience. The owners were so attentive. It's dog friendly. We saw lots of banana slugs. They were super cute. The shower was hot and the fire in the cabin was easy to start. I definitely recommend going.

An amazing hipcamp for a more outdoorsy experience yet close to town. The location was easy to find, comfortable, cute place and with all the amenities needed. We loved that we were allowed to let our dogs off leash and their resident dogs are friendly. They also have basic utensils but don't forget to bring your own sheets, pillows and blanket. I would recommend this stay to anyone and would come again!

This cabin was so perfect! Very cozy fireplace and overall a really beautiful spot that is close to great restaurants but feels private and rustic. I would absolutely stay here again!

It was exactly what we needed, absolutely loved the window view, and enjoyed the hot stove to keep us warm and cozy. We read books, played board games, and our two dogs were so relaxed so that’s a double win!
This place is somewhat secluded, and minutes away from towns which is awesome. Ted and Emily were amazing hosts! Highly recommend!

Utterly charming. A perfect getaway from the city. The open window view into the woods, the sheep farm next door, cafes and hikes within walking distance. I hope to return sooner than later.

The cabin felt very homey. The scenery was very pleasant and peaceful. Ted and Emily were attentive and put together some recommendations for cool places to visit. When I went, it was raining (which was awesome), and plenty of wood was provided! 10/10 would come again.

The cabin was amazing the ambience and the functionality of the cabin was better than ever expected! The outdoor kitchen was very useful and they provide everything you’d need! they gave us extra wood for the fire, and even fixing the water heater when it ran out of battery! Overall the stay was amazing and decently plan to stay again!

Lovely stay! Such a cute little cabin. Wonderful outdoor kitchen. Saw some cute banana slugs. Super convenient to town and easy enough to get to the redwoods which was why we were there. Ted and Emily were super communicative and checked in to make sure we had everything we needed. Would definitely return and would absolutely recommend. Thanks Ted and Emily!

Awesome cabin! Very nice cozy ambiance, especially in the evening and at night. We enjoyed the cabin just as much as we enjoyed exploring the redwoods. Wood stove is great, holds heat and burns pretty slow once it gets going and is tamped down low.

If you're looking for a cozy spot in the eureka/arcata area to rest when youre hiking in the redwoods, this is the place!
It's such a cute little cabin with a fireplace, outdoor kitchen, toilet, and a hot shower🚿👌🏾, the perfect spot for couples. The hosts are very friendly and accomodating as well!

Absolutely loved and enjoyed Ted and Emily’s
place. The instructions to start the wood stove were spot on and helped me stayed cozy for the night. The outdoor kitchen had everything I needed to make a simple meal and the bathroom on the outside (attached to the cabin) was a nice touch too.
I definitely recommend it to everyone looking for a place to stay while exploring the Redwoods.

Yes! This is the cabin you want to visit - I can only explain it by saying that it feels good there; you can tell it was made with intention and love. Ted and Emily provide everything you need to be comfy - outdoor kitchen area with the essentials, wood burning stove inside the cabin to keep warm and provide ambiance (firewood provided), and one of my fav things - an outdoor shower w/hot water. It rained during our stay, but we weren’t “stuck inside” the cabin because there’s an outside walkway/porch area that is covered which allowed us to still be outside. There’s a bistro set where you can sit to eat a meal, a chair with a foot rest inside to read and relax. There’s a hook to hang your coats and a bar to hang something like a wet towel. One “wall” is made from paneled windows and is able to open wide for an airy feel if that’s what you want. Honestly, I want to live there - I was sad when it was time to go. My husband who usually doesn’t care about the things I described, enjoyed it as much as I did and commented several times about how wonderful it is. The hosts were friendly and responsive all while giving us space and privacy. 20 out of 10, 10 stars out of 5, A ++.

We loved our stay! It was cute, cozy, and very clean. Directions to the cabin were clear and easy to follow. We fell asleep to the croaking of frogs nearby and the warmth and sounds of crackling wood from the burner inside, truly a peaceful experience. We would definitely recommend booking your stay at the little glass cabin !

What a sweet offering! Tucked into the woods, close to town but with space to breathe and just be with the bees, trees and birds... the cabin is simple but thoughtfully put together, clean, and welcoming. We loved our cabin stay at Bayside Cabin. The cabin was wonderful - perfect for a home base to travel around the area, and a cozy place to kickback when it's rainy and cold. Ted and Emily were helpful and gracious hosts. The cabin is positioned such that it is private and feels like you are in the middle of the woods. It was a fantastic vacation!

What a wonderful little cabin just outside of Arcata! We arrived late and our hosts left the lights on for us and our pups. We were even supplied kindling and logs for the wood stove that was inside and kept us warm and toasty during our stay. The outdoor shower was very refreshing and clean as well as the outdoor kitchen area. Easy to get to with an attentive host who was very responsive to our questions and requests. We're already thinking of returning during the summer!

The glass cabin in the woods was truly a magical experience! We were provided firewood for the little wood burning stove which kept the cabin cozy and warm throughout our rainy stay. Ted and Emily’s coffee and eatery recommendations were absolutely superb as well! I would highly recommend this spot for anyone looking for a beautiful place to stay near the Humboldt redwoods.
