Our 32 acre Winery is located about 30 miles East of Sacramento on I-80. Just 2 miles from our beautiful bustling Old Town Auburn. Where you will find restaurants, antique shops, coffee shops, breweries and more. We are one of the oldest, and largest commercial wineries in Placer County. During the Pandemic our family built bridges that access an island that was hidden with berry bushes for over 40 years. It's amazing what a couple of chainsaws and a Kubuta tractor can accomplish in a couple months. We have a flushable toilet and sink available with a shade structure and some pic-nic tables under gazebos. There is enough seating to sit almost 200 people on our island. Equipped with a concrete stage and dance floor, wine bar with Hard Cider on tap (seasonal.)
We have 3 bridges that connect the island for a small loop. It's about 2 football fields long.
There is a community fire pit in the middle of the island (sorry no fire pits allowed in the parking lot or any other area.) BBQ's are welcome! Also corn hole is provided when the weather is nice.
There are cows that roam about half of our property, along with wild turkeys, coyotes, rabbits and other wild animals that live among us.
The camping spots are in our gravel parking lot that easily accesses the island. You're more than welcome to book your stay for that time as well.

Frogs croak, bats dart here and there and big mouth bass become airborne in search of dinner in the early evening hours. Blue and White Heron visit the pond often – gracefully soaring over the pastures and pond in search of a safe place to land among the Iris. Watching them calculate a strategy to catch a meal, while appearing to stalk in slow motion – FASCINATING!
Upwards of 40 Canada Geese goslings are hatched yearly on the grounds of HartSong. It’s absolutely adorable to watch the little ones as they frantically paddle along behind their moms. In addition and if you’re an early riser, you will most certainly feel blessed to observe the loving, yet stern, communications between Canada Goose parents (life- long mates) as they teach their young to fly - every morning at sunrise in the spring.

*The American River Confluence (North Fork and Middle Fork merge) – a 10 mile drive from your campsite. The drive down the canyon to the American River is beautifully picturesque. Over 100 miles of hiking trails, pristine swimming holes and white water opportunities are available for those of you in search of adrenaline laced activities.
*Coloma, California – world famous for its white water rafting excursions – a 14 mile drive from your campsite.
*Lotus, California - The Coloma-Lotus Valley is the major destination of the South Fork, shaped by the American River today as in 1848. Three riverfront parks provide opportunities for family picnics and wading, and Marshall Gold Discovery State Historic Park brings California’s history to life. While in Lotus, please make a point to stop in at Sierra Rizing Bakery, Coffeehouse and Cafe – located in the beautiful Coloma & Lotus river valley just steps from the South Fork of the American River. They feature small-batch local artisan-roasted coffees, fresh bakery goods, breakfast and lunch fare, as well as specialty drinks, beer, and local wines. This site is situated at the base of sinal mountain in Jackson Ca, just 3 miles off highway 88 and 49. It’s feels like it’s miles away from civilization, with a beautiful country road that meanders through gold country. Raley’s , tractor supply and lake tabeaud are only 3 miles away.
We personally live here on 5 acres and have one acre dedicated to RV camping. Kirkwood ski resort is a 40 minute drive and South Lake Tahoe is 1.5 hours up 88. There are wonderful wineries in the Shenandoah Valley about 25 minutes away and the beautiful town of Sutter creek with shops, antiques and restaurants.
The camp site is surrounded by oak trees and has a gravel ground to help keep dust down.

We bought this 1 Acre property surrounded by crops in 2013. The original farm house was built in 1952. It was a local hang out for all the kids on this road, of which most still currently reside. Our journey started here with a simple little cute house surrounded by dirt... We have worked non stop to make it our home. We've added a shop, built a master suite and put in trees, gains and pool. We built a poolhouse for guests and have added it to the airbnb community. We later built a pig barn and expanded our chicken coop. We enjoy gardening, growing pumpkins for our grandkids. We have multiple fruit trees in hopes to have lots of fruit to share . We love be outside 99% of the time. BBQ & sports, are always enjoyed, especially if it's football!

Pull in and relax on our little farm. We have gorgeous sunsets and bright stars. We're located amongst farm land, almond and walnut orchards. Our 1 acre has rotating crops behind it throughout the year. Our Rv site sits in the back of our property as seen in the pictures. It has power and water hookups only. The pool and laundry can be used by appointment. Please note, as of now we don't have a bathroom or shower option. Trailers must be self contained.
We have tiny rooster, Little John, 17 hens and a mini schnauzer. Fresh eggs are always available during your stay. We’re 2.5 miles from city limits. Close enough to stores and restaurants but far enough away for a quiet stay. We have lots of local winery’s within 20 minutes, hot air ballooning and an abundance of lakes within a few hours. Jaime is an excellent communicator and has been very flexible with my situation. I had a tire blowout and my reservation needed to be extended. So she was very accommodating and helpful to make this a less stressful situation. And while it may have been foggy the whole time I’ve been here you could see how beautiful the property will be when it’s nicer weather and things are in Bloom.

This was by far our families most relaxing camping trip! Jim and Kathy were the most wonderful hosts. Every detail for our comfort and relaxation was thought of for this hip camp site. The location is great and we loved relaxing and watching the animals across the pond all day long. Each morning the friendly cows would come to the fence close to the site to say good morning. Jim and Kathy even included our daughter in helping with the animals during their morning routine. We will definitely be back!

We were camping at Animal lovers paradise last weekend. What an amazing experience. This camping site definitely deserves this name! We made it there a group of 11 campers and two dogs. The location is remarkable with a lovely pond where we enjoyed the local paddle boat and our paddle board, The Creeck crossing the campsite is amazing where we all enjoyed walking in the water, snacking on blackberries, and chilling during the day. The campsite has all you need for a good camping experience: a barbeque, toilet, shaded tables, Chairs by the gas bonfire, a swing and a hammock. The owners went above and beyond helping us with anything needed and recommending great things to do. The kids had a wonderful experience tubing in the American river towards Lotus park! Jim was amazing helping us fixing an electrical blown mattress that it’s cable was torn.
In summary, if you’re looking for a beautiful location to camp hosted by wonderful friendly people, animal lovers is the place!

I had two wonderful nights here. I was the only camper and had the whole place to myself! I got a fantastic tour of the island, the wine club, the three bridges, the wine cave, workshops and more! So much more than just wine to see here! Vintage motorcycles and antique motorized bicycles! The parking area was large and flat and gravel right next to grazing cattle, lots of places to sit and walk and watch the flowing streams. And there’s a brand new luxurious bathroom on a trailer that’s bigger than my bathroom at home! Very nice! Ryan was always very responsive and helpful. And I heard all sorts of wonderful stories from Jimbob. I had a great stay and look forward to returning. I recommend this place to those staying in the Auburn area. It’s situated close to all sorts of beautiful places! Quiet, serene, lovely!

I am in awe of Kathy and Jim's hardwork creating this beautiful slice of paradise in California. Experiencing the farm first hand was mesmerizing. They have manicured this peaceful ecoystem where the creatures live in harmony. Their love for the farm was infectious. Every creature, plant, and insect were treated with dignity and respect. The kids were overjoyed helping Kathy in the stables and learning about all the creatures on the farm. We loved riding on the lake in the rowboat, playing with their dogs, staring at the stars above in the evenings, and enjoying all that nature has to offer. We are beyond grateful that places like this exist and that Kathy and Jim were willing to share their peaceful slice of paradise with us. It is a trip we will never forget, thank you!

There aren't proper words to describe how truly picturesque this little piece of paradise is. I hosted my son's 12th birthday here with 11 of his friends, their parents and siblings! It was an absolute blast and the best part is we never had to leave the farm, there was plenty to do, and these kids did it non stop, including swimming in the pond, rowing the little but, taking out the paddle boards. There was plenty of space for them to play dodgeball, flag football and capture the flag, as well as ample camp space for our many tents (seven total including a couple 10+ person tents!) leaving a ton of hang out space for pop up shade tents and our various kitchen set ups. It was easily the best trip of the year and Kathy and Jim were the most gracious hosts, giving us plenty of privacy and space but being available when needed. They were also just SO VERY KIND! Jim even let the younger girl siblings feed the horses and gave them a mini tour around the farm which was the absolute highlight for them. This will definitely not be my last trip to the Animal Lover's Paradise!

This site is so peaceful. It’s nice to be the only group. The surrounding land is so nicely taken care of and the campsite has such great things. The pond and rowboat, the canal, the animals to look at. Love it here!

We loved staying on Jamie's land! It was a wonderful get away that started with a cool ferry ride. He truly thought of everything with access to an out side grill, wood for buring, pots pans/ bowls and plates even extra toothpaste and tooth brushes which was needed b/c we forgot ours. So thanks Jamie! The lights at night were both practical and beautiful. It made the night feel like a "fairy land" as my daughter put it. It made it easy to locate the RV in the dark and trees / tables without needing a light. It was awesome! Thank you! We can't wait to plan another trip here!

I loved tent camping at HartSong! This is the most beautiful and special place. I love the horses and dogs and all the birds on the pond. It is a joy to spend the day watching the geese, horses and cows spend their day in the pasture. I will be back soon!
