Such a great, peaceful stay and just a quick trip to get into Glen Ellen for food. Phil and Colleen were super friendly and welcoming as soon as I arrived. The site also has a nice, clear view of the sky so I was able to get work done via my Starlink easily. My only piece of advice for others considering is to take the route that approaches from the West as the other route was really quite challenging when towing. Would definitely stay again and recommend to anyone!

It was beautiful spot! Host Marek was really nice and quiet spot. Definitely visit again. Road to his Vineyard had some rough spots but our 2WD class B Travato with motorcycle trailer made through fine. Thanks to Marek we had great time!

Had such an amazing time, the host is super friendly and the view was amazing from our site. The site had a firepit, and some power outlets with two tables for whichever view you liked best. The beach was a short walk with seals swimming and sunbathing. There are also plenty of hikes up north and kayak rentals nearby.

If you are looking for off the beaten path and a quiet place to camp this is your place. We enjoyed our stay for the night and wouldn’t hesitate to book again. It was nice having power to run the electric. We had spot #3 but I think spot #2 is the best out of the 3. I picked a few lemons before we left and they are some of the best lemons I’ve had.

Beautiful location, 10/10 experience. Brenda was fantastic! Very welcoming and a great resource for points of interest in the area. Incredible value overall. Private cove to explore, relax, or launch a kayak. We harvested mussels and sea urchin at low tide (with a fishing permit). We took a 45 min day trip to Bodega Bay for some crab fishing, and ate at Fisherman’s Cove (great oysters) and fish and chips. Came back to our campsite and took hot showers (Brenda has quarters for the shower meter), and quality firewood at $12/bundle with kindling. There’s a great cafe and general store only 2 minutes drive down the street. Our campsite didn’t have water or electric, but we were free to use any open site’s water and electric hook ups. The site is right off Highway 1, but there’s little traffic by sunset. Also, the site is fairly well wind protected, and the wind generally dies down by golden hour. With the crashing waves below and incredible views, it gave for a peaceful and serene experience. We’ll absolutely be back here.

Our stay with Cindy was beyond special! We arrived at two baby lambs born that day. The hosts were very generous—showing us around, educating us on the farm, and even sharing their spring bounty. The location is central to everything you'd ever want to explore in Sonoma while still feeling secluded. Highly recommend and we hope to be back soon!

Brenda was absolutely great, very helpful and kind. The beach was amazing, the views from our site were incredible, our dog got to be off leash at the beach! We got to watch the seals on the rocks with their pups! Bathrooms were clean with coin showers! Brenda even cooked us up some muscles and brought them right to our door! We will definitely be back!

Timber Cove Campground

Located right off coastal US highway 1, Timber Cove campground sits right at the edge of breathtaking, oceanside cliffs. We are situated on roughly two acres of land, with multiple campsites for tent/car camping or RV’s. Each campsite has a picnic table, fire pit and water. Electricity is available to use for an extra fee. We have separate men’s and women’s flush bathrooms, with coin-operated hot showers. We have firewood with kindling for sale on site, payable with cash or Venmo. Please take note of local fire bans, when in effect. Dog friendly, though be advised a leash is recommended as we are close to the road, but they can run leash-free down at the beach. We are located 30 minutes north of the town of Jenner, with Gualala 30 minutes to the north. Gualala has grocery stores, a post office, and some shops. Fort Ross Store is located one mile down the road, just before Timber Cove, and sells basic food necessities, drinks, sandwiches, ice and gas. Internet cell service can be spotty in our area, depending on your provider, so bring your own Starlink services if you have them. We also have access to the beach below, and offer beach camping as well. Take note that the road down to the beach is steep with uneven terrain. The weather can vary quickly here, so be sure to bring multiple layers of clothing and camp gear for various types of weather, and headlamps are useful for getting around the property at night! We hope you’ll come visit our little slice of heaven on the ocean cliffs, gaze at the stars, marvel at the sunsets, watch the harbor seals dozing on their rocks and the many bird species that inhabit our property. The orchard has many different fruit trees including heritage Gravenstein apples that were originally planted by the family from Italy. The Gravensteins are ripe between mid July to mid August. The orchard borders a forest with old growth Redwoods, Douglas Fir, Bay Laurel, Oaks, and Madrone. Some wildlife passes through the orchard, especially birds. The site offers great star gazing, sun rises, moon rises and access to a charming walk on a beautiful country lane for sunsets. Two minute drive to Occidental, and a twenty minute drive to the beaches of the Sonoma Coast and the Russian River. We are conveniently located off of US 101, therefore there may be some freeway noise, during commute hours especially. It has become like white noise to me, but it is only fair to mention it. We offer full hookups which consists of 50 amp & 110 volt electrical outlets, potable water, sewage dump. We also have a pigtail available (with a refundable deposit) if needed to convert 50 amp to 30 amp. We also have one place in the middle of our big vineyards with a 30 amp and water only. No sewer. Our sites are located one mile from Healdsburg plaza, the heart of Sonoma County wine country. Our town offers amazing wineries, fantastic restaurants, and quaint shops. It is an excellent place for wine lovers. There is a pre-prohibition winery right across the road called Foppiano. There are many other fabulous wineries are nearby. We are in an excellent location for outdoor adventurers. There are plenty of hiking trails near by as well as bike rental shops for those who enjoy trekking, and even a couple of rafting places right here on the Russian River. You can enjoy the California wineries, restaurants, and shops that you'd like! We are also ideally located near Jack London State Park - which is a really pretty and historic place to go! The opportunities for hiking around our property are endless, and definitely head to the wineries if that's of interest to you. On our property you can enjoy exploring our more-than 20 acres of land, taking the row-boat (provided by Hosts) out on our pond, hiking or just relaxing in a serene setting and watching a great variety of birds. Formerly utilized as a bed and breakfast, when we moved to the property we definitely wanted to continue sharing the land and views with guests. As hosts, we are around and enjoy getting to know the our visitors if you are up for that, otherwise we are also happy to respect total privacy. There are 3 sites next to the pond, we have one that is there all the time in the summer but those folks only come a couple of times each month. The 2 others are right next to each other near the pond. We haven't started having more than one rented at a time yet but do expect to start that soon. You may have a neighbor or 2. We hope you enjoy the beautiful sunsets and being literally above the clouds as much as we do! About the Listing: Come park your RV on our property and set up camp at a beautiful spot right next to the pond. You should expect to see us on the property, though your site is well away from the house We have minimal electrical and we do have water hookups available for your RV, we do allow generators. There is a BBQ grill that you are welcome to use for cooking some wonderful meals if you'd like! You can enjoy a bite to eat at the picnic table near your campsite. There is also potable water from our natural spring available onsite for guests. You can enjoy watching the birds, turkeys and deer that meander through the meadow, and feel free to roam around the property taking in the fresh outdoor air! Additional Details to Note: - Check-in is after 2pm and check-out is before 12pm - Things to bring: Everything you need to camp comfortably! Think: toilet paper, cookware, bathing suits if you like, etc. - We do not have wifi available on site and cell reception is spotty, especially for certain carriers.
