Gold Nugget Tree House

The treehouse was fabulous!! We miss it already. Great views and the hummingbirds are so great! We hope to come back soon.

Beautiful scenery, clean and cozy stay! We loved our time here and would highly recommend. We loved the little touches, instant coffee and a fresh flower on arrival. I could stare out the window at the mountains all day!

Gold Hill is a beautiful little town. My stay in the tree house was fantastic. The views are amazing, its such a cosy little cabin. The treehousd is a short walk to the Inn for dinner or drinks.

Jessica is an awesome host filling us in and giving us advice on the storm that was rolling in over this past weekend. She also said we could cancel if it got too rough for us. This tree house is so cute and comfortable that if we weren't worried about snow we would have stayed longer! This is close enough to town that we walked in and caught live music at the Gold Hill Inn and had an awesome dinner, then the next day we had an amazing lunch at the market.

Upon arrival, I walked across the street and Don promptly greeted me from his porch clearly knowing I was the city girl staying in the treehouse. He let me know he and his wife would be available if I needed anything for the night. By the time I got around back Don's wife was there to greet me as well. It was so nice to be greeted and reassured I could ask for something if I needed it as I was a solo traveler on this stay. The treehouse is not out in the middle of nowhere but its still nice to know they were there, especially because I promptly learned (as I was hoping) that there was no cell service. I then settled in with a cocktail and enjoyed the sunset as the views were amazing. The provided stove was also great as I made myself dinner and breakfast with the tool provided and some of the food I picked up on the way to the treehouse. overall there were a number of creatures confronts available in the treehouse-like water, candles, plates, and extra blankets. Overall this was an amazing stay an di would highly recommend it.

Had a short but lovely stay in this cozy treehouse with a stunning view. It’s so close to Boulder and Denver, but you really feel like you’re far away from the city, and there are lots of great hiking and biking trails nearby. I didn’t have service there which helped with the feeling of getting away, too. The treehouse is well stocked for simplicity with a camp stove, mugs and plates, spices and oil, potable water, candles and lamps, and a lot of extra blankets for when the nights get unexpectedly cold. It was easy to find, right in town, and while close to some neighbors, it still felt private. Being able to stargaze out over the mountains from the comfort of the bed was amazing!

Easy to get to and a quick getaway close the the boulder/Denver area. She had so much stocked there wasn’t much prep required. Lots of blankets but it got very cold with wind gusts/snow/etc. dress warmly for sure. Where it’s located doesn’t offer much protection from the weather. Mornings can be cold- sun doesn’t hit the treehouse right away. Very fun and unique experience, would love to come back with nicer weather!

I’ve lived in CO forever and have never heard of Gold Hill. We went out here on a whim and it couldn’t have been better. The treehouse is so clean and cozy, we were warm on a 35 degree night. It was pretty windy but it was totally fine. There’s lots of tiny little trails nearby. I definitely want to go back!
