Camp near our beautiful creek, on grassy level land. We offer four campsites only, spread out over a large area, so you're guaranteed plenty of space, shared only with the occasional wildlife.  When it's hot, take a dip in the swimming hole, warming-up afterwards around your own private firepit. It's a peaceful spot here at Mooral Creek, with rich farmland amid rolling green hills, and plenty of options for walking and exploring. Great country for horseriding!  No toilet here so campers must be fully self-contained and take all waste with them.  We're located 20 minutes out of the charming historical village of Wingham. Here, you'll find all the essentials, plus pub, museum and access to the stunning Wingham Brush Nature Reserve, home to a colony of grey-headed flying foxes and fig trees.  Spectacular Ellenborough Falls is a 45-minute scenic drive away and makes a great day trip. Or visit the Macadamia Farm just down the road and get freshly roasted Macadamias and other yummy produce!  Pets welcome but please keep them on a leash and ensure they won't disturb the wildlife or other campers.  We do not have good phone reception here - which is great to disconnect! If you really do need to contact the outside world, you can find reception just up the road near the Mooral Creek Hall. Camp near our beautiful creek, on grassy level land. Hidden Valley Creekside Camp
Highly recommend 👌
Loved the stream running through the property, during the night it's magical to listen to. Plenty of room as well, ensure you bring some wood and supplies as the closest town is a 40 min trip through winding dirt road. The owner is a legend, really easy going guy with a great attitude 🙏

Hidden Valley Creekside Camp
4 night camp w/ 2 tiny humans & dog
Absolute 10/10!! This campsite is so incredibly beautiful, peaceful and perfect to spend as much or as little time as you can spare. We booked last minute for the Easter long weekend, travelling from Newcastle, spending 4 nights. Would definitely make the 2.5hr trip again and again! We took two small kids (1&2yr olds), the dog and set up a camper trailer in the large cleared field. The directions to get you there are bang on, the owner was delightful, said a quick hello and then left us to our own devises. We were greeted by 3 inquisitive horses who watched up set up. There were only 4 other camping groups, so plenty of space for the dogs, kids to run around and ride bikes, have fires, explore and swim. The creek is magical and crystal clear. We were honestly blown away by this camping trip, and would 100% recommend!

We stayed 3 nights at Hidden Valley. The area is quite large, and would be great for a group. We had the paddock to ourselves which made for a quiet relaxing few days. We camped near the only access to the creek which was beautiful and a welcome cool place to get out of the heat. The drive in includes 13k of winding dirt road, but it’s in good condition. Just be sensible and drive to the conditions. There is not much fire wood available, so maybe take your own. There are 3 friendly horses that roam the paddock. And they often come for a visit. Glens directions and description were spot on. He was not home when we arrived (the house is across the road from the paddock) so we just let ourselves in and set up camp. We briefly met Glen when we were leaving as the horses followed us to the gate. We were hesitant to open it in case they escaped. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The valley is beautiful. There is definitely no mobile reception which was great as it allows you to truly switch off and relax. Thanks Glen for sharing your slice of paradise.

Hidden Valley Creekside Camp
Good little out of the way spot
Great host. Very nice little camp site next to a bubbling brook with a decent swimming hole. The only issue we had was with ticks and our dog, so just beware, otherwise all good. The campsite itself is within viewing distance of the property if that's a concern/benefit.
