Bimbimbi is located at the free flowing, clear beginning of the Murray River, at Tintaldra. We have 5 separate sites. Each site is for a single group, so you know you will only have yourselves in close proximity. Each site has access to the river, although The Fishing Hole, River Red Gums and The Big Bend have better access than The Willows and The Old Pump Hole. Swimming, fishing for Murray Cod, hiking along the river bank (we have 3km of frontage), bird watching, relaxing are typical things to do here. Or, if you are more adventurous, borrow our canoes and do a down river trip, or go for a longer hike up Pine Mountain in the Pine Mountain National Park. Or, bring your mountain or road bikes and do some cycling on the picturesque roads and trails.
The campsites are well spaced out, with a minimum of 200 metres between the nearest two locations. In fact, it either impossible or very difficult to see anyone else at the other camp sites from your own camp site.
Each camp site is accessible via its own track, so you won't have other vehicles driving past your camp site. We have a Leave No Trace policy, please take all rubbish with you. (This also means not throwing bottles, cans, bottle tops, aluminium foil and other non-biodegradable items into the camp fire.) Dogs are allowed, but please keep them under control, particularly if near cattle. Campfires are allowed only in braziers provided, when fire bans are not in place. You can gather your own firewood or purchase firewood from us (see "Extras"). Please arrive before dark if you haven't been here before. It is difficult to understand a new camp site in the dark. We provide a toilet at each location, for your convenience and the cleanliness of the camp site in general. Nothing but your human deposit and toilet paper in the toilet please. No disposable wipes, nappies etc. Please put these in your trash. Also, bring your drone but use it only over locations that are not occupied.
We have canoes to borrow, seasonal produce is available from the garden and our own beef and local lamb is also now available. And, again, wood for purchase if you don't want to gather your own. Please see "Extras"

Only 15 minutes from Mount Martha village and Mornington, restaurants, amazing wineries, weekend markets, cafes and golf courses.
We are 10 minutes from swimming beaches and 20 minutes from surf beaches.
This is a 5.5 acre block, consisting of the host’s residence, garden and parkland. Polly's Paddock is half of the block.
We offer 2 flat caravan or tent sites, both with drinking water , 1 with limited power , the other no power.
There is also a site with a glamping tent set in the garden.
The 6 metre round tent sleeps 2, with a queen size bed, linen provided.
It is carpeted, has a fridge, kettle and BBQ. Just pack your toothbrush, clothes, food and drinks.
All 3 sites have the use of a shared composting toilet.
For a refreshing experience there is an outdoor, open air hot shower overlooking the dam.
Close by is a spacious shelter/shed with tables, chairs and a rustic kitchen area with sink and heater.
Well behaved dogs are accepted on the caravan sites, but we ask that you please discuss with us prior to booking. Dogs are to be kept on a lead at all times, wild ducks and the properties own poultry wander here.
No dogs on the glamping tent site.
Campfires are allowed during the cooler months, left to the hosts discretion for safety reasons. We supply a fire pit. BYO wood.
No fires apart from in the fire pits provided are to be lit. Fires are to be extinguished before going to bed or leaving.

Bimbimbi is located at the free flowing, clear beginning of the Murray River, at Tintaldra. We have 5 separate sites. Each site is for a single group, so you know you will only have yourselves in close proximity. Each site has access to the river, although The Fishing Hole, River Red Gums and The Big Bend have better access than The Willows and The Old Pump Hole. Swimming, fishing for Murray Cod, hiking along the river bank (we have 3km of frontage), bird watching, relaxing are typical things to do here. Or, if you are more adventurous, borrow our canoes and do a down river trip, or go for a longer hike up Pine Mountain in the Pine Mountain National Park. Or, bring your mountain or road bikes and do some cycling on the picturesque roads and trails.
The campsites are well spaced out, with a minimum of 200 metres between the nearest two locations. In fact, it either impossible or very difficult to see anyone else at the other camp sites from your own camp site.
Each camp site is accessible via its own track, so you won't have other vehicles driving past your camp site. We have a Leave No Trace policy, please take all rubbish with you. (This also means not throwing bottles, cans, bottle tops, aluminium foil and other non-biodegradable items into the camp fire.) Dogs are allowed, but please keep them under control, particularly if near cattle. Campfires are allowed only in braziers provided, when fire bans are not in place. You can gather your own firewood or purchase firewood from us (see "Extras"). Please arrive before dark if you haven't been here before. It is difficult to understand a new camp site in the dark. We provide a toilet at each location, for your convenience and the cleanliness of the camp site in general. Nothing but your human deposit and toilet paper in the toilet please. No disposable wipes, nappies etc. Please put these in your trash. Also, bring your drone but use it only over locations that are not occupied.
We have canoes to borrow, seasonal produce is available from the garden and our own beef and local lamb is also now available. And, again, wood for purchase if you don't want to gather your own. Please see "Extras"

Pollys paddock is named after a beautiful palomino horse named Polly, who lived here as a loved member of our family into her early 40s.
Polly's Paddock is a quiet camping area on the Mornington Peninsula. We are a couples, mates , friends , camping (adults only), no children, for safety reasons with a dam close by.
Only 15 minutes from Mount Martha village and Mornington, restaurants, amazing wineries, weekend markets, cafes and golf courses.
We are 10 minutes from swimming beaches and 20 minutes from surf beaches.
This is a 5.5 acre block, consisting of the host’s residence, garden and parkland. Polly's Paddock is half of the block.
We offer 2 flat caravan or tent sites, both with drinking water , 1 with limited power , the other no power.
There is also a site with a glamping tent set in the garden.
The 6 metre round tent sleeps 2, with a queen size bed, linen provided.
It is carpeted, has a fridge, kettle and BBQ. Just pack your toothbrush, clothes, food and drinks.
All 3 sites have the use of a shared composting toilet.
For a refreshing experience there is an outdoor, open air hot shower overlooking the dam.
Close by is a spacious shelter/shed with tables, chairs and a rustic kitchen area with sink and heater.
Well behaved dogs are accepted on the caravan sites, but we ask that you please discuss with us prior to booking. Dogs are to be kept on a lead at all times, wild ducks and the properties own poultry wander here.
No dogs on the glamping tent site.
Campfires are allowed during the cooler months, left to the hosts discretion for safety reasons. We supply a fire pit. BYO wood.
No fires apart from in the fire pits provided are to be lit. Fires are to be extinguished before going to bed or leaving.

Highly recommend Kilbirnie Peak Glamping if you’re looking for a country getaway. 360 degree views of the country side, comfy bed, bath on the deck (with hot water), toilet and shower (it is glamping), pizza oven and BBQ, fire pit (when it’s not a total fire ban), lots of sheep and an alpaca 🦙, had yummy homemade cookies waiting for us, so many little touches (mozzie coils, usb fans, phone chargers, lovely toiletries, plenty of towels, speaker), just wasn’t a long enough stay ❤️
Susie is a fabulous host and great communication. Will definitely be back again.

We had a lovely time at birdwatcher which was our first ever glamping experience being avid campers who always go bush. This was a welcome change to have electric, running water and a shower.
A couple of things worth mentioning: on arrival we noticed that the tent had not been cleaned since prior guests departure. Bed slept in and used towels in the shower. Although disappointing, we contacted the host straight away and the tent was cleaned with fresh linen provided while we went into town to get supplies.
No light in the toilet but we had a battery lamp so wasn’t an issue and the battery candles were flat so we couldn’t use.
Our daughter loved the moon projector on at night time.
The camp kitchen was well equipped for our needs and the spot was nice overlooking a paddock of sheep and alpacas. We loved feeding the birds with the seed provided and it all made for a relaxing stay with plenty to do in the local area.
The property does have a couple of cottages to let with one that overlooks the camp but being unoccupied didn’t create any issues for our stay. It would be a great spot to come back with more guests who could stay in the cottages or tent - something we may consider for the future.

Absolutely pristine property with amazing views and EVERYthing you could possibly need from BBQs to gas stoves, campfires with wood provided, to THE best outdoor indoor camp shower I have ever experienced. It’s rustic, but it’s glamping - so get ready to enjoy the best the Great Ocean Rd has to offer.
PS - Doug the host couldn’t not have been more accommodating or helpful..

Amazing place to stay. Sunrise shining through the tent in the morning and unbelievable sunsets at night. And the bath tub which was great on the hot days. We had clear nights so were treated to some of the best stars we've seen.
Hosts were great as well. Highly recommend the breakfast box.

We had an amazing glamping experience! The accommodation was clean, cozy, and beautifully set up, giving us the perfect balance of comfort and nature. Weekend Trip to Polly's Paddock
My partner and I loved the glamping at Polly’s Paddock. We stayed for 2 nights and would have happily stayed for longer. Firstly, Amanda and Geoff were so kind and accomodating. We could tell how much care had been put into maintaining their beautiful property and facilities. There was a clean, toilet with running water and a lovely outdoor shower. Also, the tent had everything we needed- kettle, fridge, cutlery, dishes, fan. Both of us are 6ft tall and could comfortably walk around in the large tent, and the bed was really comfortable. I can’t recommend staying here more, we are planning on coming back soon. Only 5 minute drive to the beach and nearby shops. Thank you so much for the lovely stay :)

Weekend Trip to Kilbirnie Peak Glamping
What a special experience at Susan’s place. The bath is spectacular!!!! Susan has thought of every detail. Plates, glassware, tea and coffee - it all made the glamping very glamorous! The tent was very cosy and extra blankets much appreciated as the temperature did drop at night. Thanks Susan for making such a special guest house.

We loved the scenic and tranquil glamping set-up at Parsons Flat. The river site is quiet, serene and beautiful. The hosts Trish and Paul were fantastic and made us feel at home.
Waking up to kookaburra and cockatoos, fishing in the Dargo and idle evening beside a camp fire was relaxing.
