Our charming glamping tent is nestled within a serene country property shared with five quaint holiday cottages. Enjoy the serenity of nature without sacrificing modern essentials. Enjoy meals in the undercover camp kitchen and dining area equipped with a small table and gas cook top. For those cooler evenings, an electric heater ensures your comfort. It’s a camp kitchen so you’ll have to boil water on the stove and cook your toast over the fire the old fashioned way. Relax as you watch the birdlife including the curious Crimson Rosellas, magnificent King Parrots, noisy Rainbow Lorikeets, laughing Kookaburras, haughty Cockatoos, silent Frogmouth Owls and many more. Step outside to unwind by the outdoor firepit with BBQ grill—just bring your own wood for a memorable evening under the stars. With convenient parking, your tranquil glamping experience awaits. The private toilet and shower are separate cubicles. Embrace the beauty of nature with (most) of the comforts of home. Linen is supplied for the confirmed number of registered guests. A pull-out sofa bed is available for an extra fee. Linen included: doonas, pillows, pillow cases, bed sheets, bath towels, bath mats, and tea towel. Cute little spot, kitchen was lovely and having access to toilet and shower a great plus! Enjoyed having a little fire in the fire pit too.

Imagine all the joy of camping, being outdoors and close to nature, seeing all the stars and waking to the sound of birds, but without the packing, organisation and effort. That’s Birdwatchers Getwaway. We had everything we needed. The tent is heated and has lovely fairy lights and candles making it so cosy at night. The kitchen is simple but well appointed and there’s even a hot shower. There are a few other cottages around but it felt secluded and quiet. I would highly recommend it.
