Luke, Arna and the Family would like to welcome you to Yabba Ridge Farm. We own 35 beautiful acres along the banks of Yabba Creek. 3 minutes out of Imbil village, 12 minutes to Borumba Dam and surrounded by State Forests. We offer 4 sites, both powered and non-powered sites. Nestled along the banks of a pristine section of the Yabba Creek, there are large swimming holes for all water activities and shallow rapids great for the kids to play in. The Creek is home to an array of wildlife. Platypus are seen daily, plenty of bird life and a variety of fish and turtles. Please be aware that there is a fishing ban on the Yabba Creek between the 1st of August and the 31st October every year. The backdrop is a large steep mountain that comes to the waters edge, which is where we created the name of our property "Yabba Ridge". We have a variety of animals which are behind high fences, and are very unique and spectacular to look at especially at feeding time where you can get a good look at them up close. With only 4 sites, we offer a spacious camping area, spread out all to enjoy the views of the mountain and creek. There are clean amenities, toilets and showers, as well as running water at the powered sites.

Adjacent to the Charles Street Mary River parklands, this 5 acre block has beautiful drive through, flat grassy sites. Shady or open spaces with a seasonal water hole on the property, 150mtrs from the Mary River, through the park or a 5 minute walk to town (600mtrs to the pub!). We have 5 camping sites, each suitable to any size caravans, campers, tents etc. Each site has the capacity to fit 3 caravans or equivalent and up to 10 guests. Fire pits at all sites. Please note we do not have amenities or drinking water and that you need to be self-sufficient with your own toilet/shower set up and bring everything you need with you and take out ALL waste. The Cooke Family welcomes you to “Hopevale”. A beautiful 113 acre property bordered by Wrattens National Park at the edge of the world in the peaceful Widgee district of greater Gympie. Jason, a landscaper by trade, and Jacinta a teacher by profession, met many years ago at a national Christian youth conference. Four beautiful children later and many years down the track, they bought Hopevale as a blank cattle fattening property in 2018. After much hard work, they have made it what it is today, with plans to continually improve. We have different camp options available, one of which is set up for those guests also wanting to stay with horses or just have a larger group booking. Guests will have access to a toilet and shower throughout their stay which is within walking distance from each of the campsites. Campfires and pets are welcome. The property has only had 4 farming owners in its 110 odd years since it was first surveyed and selected in 1915. The Hillcoats, Bishops, Cotters, and now the Cooke’s. The families over the years have used the property for timber getting, dairy, beef and small cropping. The property is geologically rich with volcanic soils, sandstone escarpments full of caves and overhangs. The mighty Wrattens Falls sits to the back of the property in the National Park and is a sight to behold in full flow. It feeds the head waters of the western branch of Widgee Creek which meanders through the property. The subtropical dry rainforest clad mountains are dominated by the majestic Bunya and Hoop pines and are a testament to what once was covering the entire property before being cleared for farming. Remnant riparian creek lines are botanically rich and diverse holding Red and White Cedar, Teak, Silky oak and many other coveted timber trees harvested back in the day. There are many species of animals and birds that call Hopevale home. From water dragons, frogs and fish in the creeks, monitors, wallabies, deer, koalas, possums and phascogales in the eucalypts. Red-back wrens, pardalotes, rainbow bee-eaters, finches and quail call the open grasses home while whip birds give their iconic call in the forest. Formally a banana & pineapple plantation, Hunchy Hills is strictly 4WD only access property. There is a toilet and gas hot shower included. If you have a camper trailer it needs to be off-road/high clearance and you need to be experienced in towing off road. No caravans or Hybrids sorry, too steep and tight. Sites 1-3 are large level pads approx. 12M by 12M, each with their own fire pit and log seat. Site 4 is perched on the side of the hill and 6M by 6M in size. Suitable for vehicle based campers/swags/small tents with a sense of adventure and best with max 2 people. We have a backup spot if access is too difficult. Go fishing at Baroon Pocket Dam and have a swim at Obi Obi Creek or Kondalilla Falls or Gardeners Falls. If you're after some saltwater it's a 30 min drive to most beaches on the coast.

Set on beautiful park-like acreage it's a great place to stop and rest, recharge or base yourself so that you can explore the local area. We are located between Noosaville and Eumundi., with beautiful Noosa and Coolum beaches only 15 mins drive away. The Tewantin ferry is only about 15/20mins for access to Noosa North Shore and Rainbow Beach (4WD for beach driving). The Eumundi Markets 10 mins drive. We have a few options to choose from, shady areas or open sunny areas overlooking the dams. All sites have easy access, will suit self-contained motorhomes/caravans and campers who have own amenities and leave no trace, We do have a dump point and also a couple of port-a-loos available if required. Wonderland 4WD Bushcamp is located 15 minutes from Maleny in the heart of the Sunshine Coast Hinterland. It features 3 private sites in a spectacular bush setting (and more are coming!). We welcome small groups and their pets and cater to couples and small groups looking for a secluded weekend away. There is a two-night minimum. A 4WD VEHICLE IS NEEDED JUST TO GET ONTO THE PROPERTY. THERE IS NOWHERE TO PARK VEHICLES THAT CAN NOT REACH THE SITES. Please take the track descriptions seriously. We're not embellishing just to discourage inexperienced 4WDers. These are NO JOKE. Gumtree Summit and The Gun Range are up a steep and rocky track that requires technical driving skills and a very capable vehicle. These sites are very difficult to access! In wet weather, you will need to spend a bit of time winching. You need to know what you are doing. When booking, ensure you read each site description thoroughly before requesting a booking. Fuzzy miniature galloway cattle freely roam the property here. If you are not camping at the Summit sites, where they don't tend to go, you may see us driving around in our Jeep, giving them lots of treats and cuddles. The sites are level pastured camping areas with lovely trees providing good shade alongside the river. We have tried to preserve the natural ecosystem on the river bank so it is heavily wooded and largely untouched. The total area for camping is approximately 500 metres with only four sites spaced far apart to ensure plenty of space and privacy. Each site has very easy access to the river, via a couple of tracks. You can enjoy swimming and kayaking in the river. Fishing is welcome when permitted but must be catch and release only. There is plenty of wildlife to see, especially for bird watchers: kingfishers, parrots and birds of prey as well as platypus, air breathing lungfish and Mary River turtles. Access is 4WD or AWD only. In severe weather the Mary River can flood. Be prepared to leave in extreme weather. Campers must be self sufficient with their own camping toilet and must take all waste and rubbish with them on departure. Pets are welcome.

Plenty to do in and around Kenilworth, hiking 4WDing, swimming holes and don't forget 2 try the "coffee donut" in town.

We had a great camp setup at Pilgrims Rest! They aren’t kidding when they say 4x4 only. It was our first experience towing our van in these conditions: steep, rocky and creek crossings. (We nailed it). Got in and out of camp no issues even though it was a little tight. Excellent creek for the kids to explore right in eye sight of camp. A few cars came by but nothing that was disturbing. Had some visitors (cows and horses). Quiet and remote. No phone service. Star-link worked until the weather kicked off. We had a deluge in the afternoon and overnight. Anita came down in the morning to check the creek crossings on our departure day. Advised us to head off as soon as possible due to the possibility of being flooded in. Great hosts. Good communication and excellent directions given. If we are in the area again we would visit again.

Welcome to Kurrajong Camp located in Mothar Mountain, just 10 minutes south-east of Gympie. We offer two campsites, each giving you exclusive use of the immediate private area. "Kurrajong Meadows" is a large open grassed campground that is flat and spacious, north facing with excellent solar access and a sheltered forest to the southern creek side. A flowing creek is a short stroll from the campsite via a rainforest pathway. The area is perfect for large and small groups or those wishing for their own self-contained space. "Hideaway Camp" is located down a slight incline to privacy. This site is perfect for couples, families and small groups. Creek access is via an embankment and the water is suitable for paddling. Each site has a firepit as camping just isn't camping without a fire. 🔥(Or "bush TV" as we call it!) Firewood is available for purchase. Ask us about our Camper Trailer for hire. Includes setup and pack down, so you can come straight from work or home and get into your relaxing camping break immediately. BYO queen bed linen, pillows and towels. We allow pets 🐕 "off-lead" and offer pet sitting for a small fee per hour. We very happily welcome groups and celebrations and are available to assist where possible. You drive through the grid and a peace descends as you take in the sights of this lush horse property. Situated in the Hinterland between Maleny and Kenilworth, the property is approx. 60 acres of timbered pasture, with the Mary River as the boundary. There is plenty of natural bushland and the river to explore or for quiet contemplation listening to the sounds of cows, sheep, goats and chickens in the distance for those who wish to spend a quieter time with us. Behind us is the Bellthorpe Range for 4WD, bushwalking, mountain biking, or riding your own horse. There's fishing under the Conondale Bridge, 10 minutes away and if you want to drive a little further north on your way to Kenilworth, there's a variety of State Forests and National Parks to enjoy. Kenilworth hosts quite a lot of festivals, including the Kenilworth Rodeo, so it's country living at it's best. In the opposite direction is Maleny, a trendy town, with lots of day visitors and coffee shops up and down the street. If you come in May, there's the Maleny Show and there's always historic places to visit along the escarpment with magnificent views down to the Coast. The Lookout is accessed by an all-weather dirt/gravel road. It is suitable for self-contained vehicles only, with their own toilet and shower, as we have no facilities here.
