While the Orchard camp site is a well maintained fenced area, it also boarders a shooting range for the neighbours. This experience for us was alarming and difficult for a person with PTSD and for anyone who was not warned of this activity. We unfortunately will not be returning.

We found "100 Acres" easily thanks to very clear directions. The campsite was clean, beautiful, and perfectly flat with freshly mowed grass right beside the creek. We loved cooking over the provided firepit and watching the abundant birdlife. It was great that the site was fenced off from the grazing cattle, giving us peace of mind while we explored. We thoroughly enjoyed walking around the property, visiting "The Orchard", and trekking up the main track for the beautiful hill views. Thank you, John and Tenille, for a wonderfully refreshing stay!

I left after the first night and requested a refund. The listing mentioned cattle on the property, but it did not accurately prepare guests for what we experienced. This was not a case of seeing a few cows in the distance. There were more than 20 cattle roaming through the campsite area, including young bulls. Throughout the evening, cattle surrounded our caravan and repeatedly rubbed against it, causing it to rock while we were inside. At one point, when I tried to safely move one of the animals away from our campsite, the bull approached me instead of backing away. The cattle returned again during the night at 3am. We were woken by animals around the caravan, rubbing against it and rocking it while we were trying to sleep. It was stressful and intimidating. I called the host multiple times because I felt unsafe and needed assistance. My calls initially went unanswered. When the host eventually returned my call, I was told he was in Brisbane and could not help. I was asked whether I had read the listing, but my concern was not that cattle existed on the property. My concern was that dozens of cattle, including bulls, were actively moving through occupied campsites and physically rocking caravans. No practical assistance or alternative solution was offered. Due to the experience and lack of support, I left after the first night and requested a refund.

Wow! Wow! Wow! We have stayed at a lot of places on Hipcamp and found your site to be the best of the best. The Presentation of the Orchard is super. Great view, well maintained, excellent grass cover and so well fenced even our 4.5kg toy cavoodle had no hope of escaping. So relaxing.John and Tenille you are to be congratulated. We will definetely be back.

We loved our stay at 100 Acres. If you love camping with cows this is place for you. The friendly and inquisitive cows were an absolute highlight. It’s really important to follow the specific instructions from the owners about not following Google Maps advice about where to turn off for the property. Such a picturesque part of world with a really well kept, flat site (we stayed on The Paddock) and only about 20 minutes or less into Kenilworth if you need supplies… or a donut. Thanks for sharing your beautiful property and cows with us John and Tenille

Our stay was beautiful. The view is amazing and the fire pit was stunning at night. Easy to use electricity hook up and access to long hose for water. Our dogs had a great time running around for hours! Would definitely recommend

Beautiful area with beautiful 360 degree countryside views. Loved our time here. The creek at the bottom is so pretty too. Cows wandering. It is great proximity to Maleny & Boloumba Falls & the walks there too. If booking The Hill, note that there is a house very close by which we weren’t keen on at first but with no one there, it was ok. Plus it provides the option for power if req. We usually like to feel like we are in the middle of nature not near a house & didn’t realise that upon booking as didn’t see that in any pics but came to love the spot for the views, & the house even reminded us of NZ holidays! If the house was occupied it may feel a bit awkward & like you’re in their front yard! If this would bother you, there are other nice sites but they wouldn’t have the amazing views. Do feel the price is too high but we had a great time. Thank you for sharing your beautiful property.

Second time staying here with my wife.Lovely place to relax for a long weekend.Had to tell a couple of guys to turn there music down at 2am which they did and apologise to me and everything was fine over the next few days they must have been excited to stay there 🤣.Good fire pits and not far to travel to Kenilworth which was a good day out.Thankyou John and Tenille for sharing your beautiful property to us again.We will be back.

Beautiful stay in a secluded and peaceful location. Relaxing sound of the babbling creek and great view of the night sky. The site is level overlooking the creek. Moderately challanging gaining access with our rig of 11 meters as the approach through the gate in relation to the site is not straight on. Definitely recommend a 4wd if your towing a camper. The hosts were responsive and acommodating. We would certainly come again.

Overall we had a nice experience. There was other friendly travellers also who were staying close by. The space was easy to find and just as described. Very green and pretty space. There were an insane amount of flies however which ended up being super annoying. Not the fault of the owners and just part of it I guess.

I absolutely loved camping at this property! Unfortunately the creek side spot we booked had been taken over by cows (guests didn’t shut one of the gates properly). We contacted John and Tenille and they were very quick with responding and letting us know we could go to another spot further up. We stayed at the Orchad which was just stunning. The views, the crystal clear river, the cows and the serenity were incredible. We will definitely be going back to this little slice of heaven.
