We are pet friendly too as long as your animals remain on a leash and are under full supervision at all times. Campers must be self-contained with their own camp toilet, but there is a 24/7 dump station just 2km away. A stone's throw from the campsites is access to the mobility corridor/bike path, which takes you straight into Hervey Bay and continues all the way past the shops to Urangan pier, offering 15km of ocean frontage to explore. Our farm is located about 2.5km from both hospitals (private and government) for any care that you may need. All specialists and consulting facilities are very convenient. Next door to the campsites is our fantastic local cafe, The Depot Espresso Bar, open at 6 in the morning. They're happy to take orders for our campers from 5:30 if you knock! It's perfect for hopping on your bike from camp, grabbing your morning caffeine fix, and continuing on the day's biking adventure. Campfires are permitted, but please BYO firepit, and there is plenty of fallen timber you are welcome to collect and split yourself. Pets are welcome too! Kids under 5 stay free and don't need to be included in the booking group count. Check-in is welcome after 9 am and you can depart anytime.

Our Maremma is an Italian breed of livestock gaurdian dog, he does bark a little at night to protect our pets, which goes hand in hand with all of our other farm noises 😉 Our Neighbours have fish farms, you may hear the odd gun go off, just to scare the shags away from feeding in the ponds. It's totally safe. Feel free to put on some music and have a few drinks by the campfire, but we want our farm to be a place where our animals and our guests feel safe and relaxed, so we do not accommodate noisy parties. Our property is located halfway between Gympie and Maryborough (approx. 20 minutes from the Bruce Highway) tucked away down a private road which is lovely and peaceful. We have some walking trails located on the Camp Grounds to take in the scenery, or for the more adventurous located behind the office are longer walking trails with spectacular views at the top. There is a bike track and playground with Mini Putt Putt to keep the kids amused! Currently an RC track in the making for the remote 4WD enthusiasts. Easy access to the Mary River if you would like a spot of fishing, swimming or kayaking. Keep your eye out for the platypus and Mary River Turtles. We also have fire pits available at most sites with plenty of free firewood to collect around the property. Your fury friends are more than welcome but for the safety of them and others must be on a lead at all times. We are located about 50 minutes from Gympie, an hour 15 minutes from Rainbow Beach and or Hervey Bay and 45 minutes from Maryborough. The town of Tiaro is only 15 minutes down the road which has a Foodworks, Pub, United Fuel and Cafe. Don't forget the local Gundy Pub is only 5 minutes down the road. Great atmosphere and meals "tell them we sent you". Gundy Getaway is the perfect place to get back to basics and enjoy the peace and serenity.

Campers must be self-contained with their own toilet and shower and need to remove their rubbish. Particularly suitable for RVs and caravans with own toilet. Well suited for overnight travelers passing between Maryborough and Bundaberg, or others needing a few days rest, fishing or water activities. Sandflies are a problem in this region anywhere near water, in the mornings until about 9am and in the evenings after about 3:30pm, so bring plenty of repellent and apply early and often. Sites are 30-40 metres apart with a maximum of 8 vehicles and their occupants in the whole property. No overcrowding! Pricing: Basic booking is for a vehicle with caravan, or an RV, and 2 people. Easy access to the Mary River if you would like a spot of fishing, swimming or kayaking. Keep your eye out for the platypus and Mary River Turtles. We also have fire pits available at most sites with plenty of free firewood to collect around the property. Your fury friends are more than welcome but for the safety of them and others must be on a lead at all times. We are located about 50 minutes from Gympie, an hour 15 minutes from Rainbow Beach and or Hervey Bay and 45 minutes from Maryborough. The town of Tiaro is only 15 minutes down the road which has a Foodworks, Pub, United Fuel and Cafe. Don't forget the local Gundy Pub is only 5 minutes down the road. Childers Nature Camp is an award winning nature based eco friendly campground, with a focus on getting back to nature preserving flora and fauna now and into the future. Our campground is 43 acres nestled in light bush just off the highway 6 minutes from town with Woolworths and IGA 30min to Woodgate beach, 45min from Bundaberg or Hervey Bay with access to local shops, wineries, zoos and a whole lot more. We are big on supporting events and businesses in the Bundy region we have large camp sites, caravan / motorhome sites, nature walks by the semi rainforest creek, movie nights, kids discos, live bands, bike tracks, club group activities and several well stocked dams with Barra, silver perch and yellow belly for the keen anglers (catch and release), or try your luck at catching a feed of yabbies. And yes we are pet friendly. We have an abundance of wildlife and a bird watchers paradise. We are passionate in what we do and want to contribute to prevention of climate change. We have planted 800 native trees at the camp to date. We are off grid solar and recycle most of our waste at our on site recycling station. Sandflies are a problem in this region anywhere near water, in the mornings until about 9am and in the evenings after about 3:30pm, so bring plenty of repellent and apply early and often. Sites are 30-40 metres apart with a maximum of 8 vehicles and their occupants in the whole property. No overcrowding! Pricing: Basic booking is for a vehicle with caravan, or an RV, and 2 people. Hidden Camp was our first ever hipcamp and it was amazing. Quiet, lots of friendly ducks, donkeys, horses, chickens. Callam and Leah were super friendly and kept asking if we needed anything. A great campsite with lots of areas to choose. Room for large groups but there were only 2 of us so found a nice spot in the shade by the creek. Considering how many campers were there you could still find an area you felt private. Everyone was very quiet. Awoke surrounded by cows and calves which added to the charm. Facilities were very clean though a bit of a walk from where we camped.

Welcome to 'Evergreen' a 2500 acre property in Gundiah on the banks of the beautiful Mary River. We are beef cattle graziers and we have a 1500 fruit tree orchard. The Hut campsite is a flat 'ledge' that has on old hut built on it. This old hut is derelict now, however, the original owner used it for 'tordoning crews'. The Ridge traverses the entire length of Evergreen. From the ridge you have views in all directions. We have a beautiful large dam, where our Dam campsite is located, that is home to turtles, water dragons and birds. We also have the Beachy River campsite which is only accessible by 4x4 vehicles and walk in campers. Guests must be self-contained with own toilet. Campfires permitted.

We have a beautiful hobby farm on 2 and a half acres. Camping is at the front of the property where you will find vegie gardens and fruit trees.
