Bring your fishing rods as there is silver perch and perch for catch and release fishing only. The rest of the property features open grasslands and bush. We are pet friendly, unpowered sites with access to a flushing portaloo toilet. Campers must have everything they need and leave no trace. Just 20 minutes inland from the beautiful coastal beaches. With flat and comfortable sites, this is a haven for anyone venturing to the Fraser Coast. It's a 2 minute drive into town for supplies and where you can enjoy a range of pubs, cafes and shops. Wake up to the sound of birds and enjoy a relaxing base to discover what Hervey Bay has to offer. We are on 19 acres with goats, chickens, a rooster and cows. Only 10 mins away from K’gari(Fraser Island) barge that leaves from River Heads, and you can leave your van here for a small fee. It is an 8 min drive to the local food works, BP servo, chemist and a 12 min drive for takeaway options. Campfires are allowed in the fire pit provided. Families are welcome although children must be fully supervised at all times as we do have a very large dam on the property with ducks and turtles. We do not provide water so please make sure you have some before arrival.

Very quiet lovely open rolling green fields, lots of flat areas, the dam was lovely and warm for swimming or kayaking and the river walk on the river side was very pretty. Internet service was very hit and miss couldn't monitor the storm activity

Fantastic Aussie bush property on the Mary river, plus a spring fed lake with beautiful water. The mornings were great foggy cool mornings , the weather had been dry for a whole Le so the grass was getting hard and dry, the horses are beautiful and love a pat. Playing golf on the makeshift gym of coarse was a bit of fun with the boys. The only problem we had was someone on an adjacent property was having what they called a party to all hours of the morning so you could just hear the bass till 7am, but that can happen anywhere. Would go again.

Amazing place to come with 3 little kids. Woke up to beautiful horses which the whole family loved. The river was absolutely stunning to swim in and the kids caught some bass also whilst walking up to the rapids was priceless. It was a total fire ban and wasn't Vanessa's fault and camping without a fire sux but realistically you don't need one here which was weird for us 😆 and awesome at the same time. You can golf here also and had full phone reception . Lagoon offered free kayaking. Totally recommend and definitely will return in the near future.

This is one of the most beautiful places we have ever stayed at. The hospitality was amazing and the campground was absolutely gorgeous the whole place would as just breathe taking, natural spring fed lake, river access , 9 hole golf course, kayaks and you even get fire wood supplied . Ian and Vanessa and of course Sasha the Dalmatian were so friendly and courteous. We are definitely returning back here

I loved the fact that we could select our own site, Tony is the perfect host, he takes excellent care of the perfectly manicured 20 Acres, the camp is a gem, only 2 or 3 minutes drive into Childes CBD, where you can access lots of Cafes, Hotels, Bakery, Pharmacy and most other things one may need. No Powered sites and no water hookup but thats all good, leave no trace. The Portaloo is spotlessly clean and stocked with soap, tissue etc. Plenty of wildlife, kangaroos, and kookaburras about during our stay. Will surely return.
