Hosts are super friendly, facilities are great, but most importantly the camp sites themselves are excellent. Well-shaded, lots of space, beautiful animals and wildlife. Excellent place to camp! The other spot was far enough away that we didn't notice them and could relax and enjoy the view. Not too far to walk to the toilet and shower which were clean. We have a 2wd and with the recent rain Guy had checked to be sure the track was dry enough for us to drive up to the site. Had a few goats wander through the site during the night. They did no harm though and I've had livestock come through my site during the night at other farmstays so it's to be expected.

We have 3 private campsites to offer, all have good distance from each other with no visibility of other camps. Approximately 400m from other sites. We like to camp with room too! With a dam, tracks to explore, a running creek to fish and frolic in, and plenty of wide-open spaces to rest and relax. Our Creekside sites are in a large open paddock with creek frontage, near the road and readily accessed with 2wd vehicles. Carrington, Views, Water and Space

I have 8 sites at the moment each one is in a open bushland setting with lovely views, no site is within 100 meters of another and each one has a different view with lots of privacy, and all Dog and Kid friendly, shallow water, and deep water for swimming or kayaking , creeks, animals to feed and heaps of room to run and play. Adult friendly, huge sites for big groups and plenty of space, great swimming and lots of things to here and in the surrounding areas. Some sites are more suited to Caravans as the access is better and some are better suited to campers / 4WD but all can be accessed with a regular car. We have NO road frontage so sites are private, quiet and safe and only 3ks off the New England Highway. All campers MUST bring their own Chemical toilet and shower facilities. A small rest room and shower is available in case of emergency only I run a working farm raising Sheep and Lambs, Chickens, Ducks, Horses, Donkeys, Vegies, Preserves and Jams. Farm produce is available on request and availability, eg Free range eggs , farm raised Lamb, locally sourced Bacon for the BBQ , and seasonal vegetables, jams and chutneys. Thanks to the Beautiful rain we have had recently, our large dam is full, providing a wonderful spot for swimming, paddling or just splashing about, the Dam has long sloping access so is great for families and dogs, PLEASE NOTE The Google Maps photo is way out of date, our Dam is full. For those who may be into Waterskiing or Fishing Leslie Dam is a 10 min drive away and offers fishing and water sports then come back to your quiet camp away from the crowds. We are 20 min South of Warwick, We are only 30 min from the Stanthorpe Wineries, Breweries fresh fruit and Vege, Cheese factory to name a few things to do. A little further along you will find Girraween National Park renowned for amazing walks. Warwick Hosts the Biggest and Best Campdraft and Rodeo on the last full week of October (Covid permitting) as well as the quirky Jumpers and Jazz festival in July. Steam Train Journeys , half or full days, We have an amazing motor sport venue which holds meet every weekend, cars bikes, vintage, minis, Porsche's, you name it they race it every weekend. As well as many Equestrian Events, you can spend the day out exploring and then you can come back to your beautiful campsite, that is if you have not decided to stay relaxing and swimming for the day in the quiet watching the sheep and horses pass bye to then watch the Sunset and wildlife then look at the amazing night sky. Moogerah Lakeside Bush Retreat is a small family owned and operated campground on the shores of Beautiful lake Moogerah in the heart of the Scenic Rim, SEQLD. We are conveniently located only 2km from the Cunningham Hwy and are set in a quiet bush location surrounded by the spectacular scenery of the Scenic Rim. We have a range of accommodation including powered and unpowered camp sites, group camp areas, bunk style cabins and a fully self-contained cabin. There is never a shortage of things to do, you can take a canoe or boat out for a cruise on the lake or try your luck at some fishing. Moogerah is well known for its large Bass & Yellow belly. There is a good bushwalk at the property that takes you out to Striker point and into the gorge waterfall with spectacular views along the way. If you have a 4wd you can take a short drive up to Spicers Gap National Park. Here there is a short walk out to the Governors Chair lookout with spectacular views of the Fassifern Valley and beyond. We currently don't have a boat ramp however once you have launched your boat at the public boat ramp we have a nice bay in front of the campground where you can anchor your boat.

Stonesthrow is a rural property in the Illinbah valley, nestled between Beechmont and Canungra, with council approval for limited camping (4WD only - leave no trace). So if you want to escape the crowds at public campgrounds, your privacy and enjoyment are assured! We are NOT a 4WD adventure park so vehicles must be parked up at your site on arrival and left there unless leaving the property to go to town/tourist activities. Any exploration of the property or travel to toilets is strictly on foot only- NO 4WD'ing. Anyone driving around the property will be asked to leave. We have sites both near the creek and facilities and up on the plateau. Our elevated/remote sites require capable 4WD's with off-road/AT tyres and campers need to be fully self-sufficient including having their own sealed chemical camping toilet and an ensuite/privacy tent. Aloomba Lavender Farm

Welcome to Aloomba Lavender Farm. We offer bush camping with powered and unpowered sites. This means you will not be placed very close to other vans unless you are friends and choose to be together. In many cases you will be able to choose where you wish to park. Not all sites are level, but you are able to site your camp/ van as you wish. There are no cement pads. There is access to toilets and hot showers. You may have to walk some distance to the amenities but the solitude, the quiet, safety and stars make all worthwhile. There is a dedicated firepit and firewood is supplied. We can supply no water other than sufficient to cook dinner. You are welcome to use some of the vegetables and herbs but not to strip the vegetable garden! If in doubt - ask. We have great coffee and Devonshire teas but we are not a cafe. However there is a great little lavender shop where you can buy our own lavender essential oil, or a cake of soap or a Baggallini Handbag. We are dog friendly! We welcome well behaved dogs. We are 20 km from Stanthorpe. You may see wildlife or cattle through the fence and an occasional vehicle going down the road. We have a sealed road all the way to our boundary and then drive through the lavender. If you visit in late November through to early December you will enjoy our lavender flowering, but the plants look very pretty all year around in neat rows. We are a commercial farm so there is the need to work to the rhythm of the lavender.

OZ SKY RANCH

Oz Sky Ranch is set on 350+ acres in the beautiful Gold Coast Hinterland, just outside of Brisbane at the bottom of Mount Tambourine near Canungra. We cater to adventurous souls, with a range of adventure tourism activities in and around our property. Try tandem hang-gliding and paragliding and a full range of hang gliding and paragliding courses or just bring your own stand-up paddleboards and kayaks. Our lake is lovely and clean and is great to swim in. We opened up our working cattle and turf farm to promote Hang gliding and paragliding, we believe the more people see it, then the more people may like to come for a tandem flight or learn to fly with us. You can buy a friend or loved one a gift of a life time. Tandem hang gliding gift vouchers are very popular, as you get to take off from the property and flyover you’re campsite and then up to 2500ft. Then come and land right next to your friends and family at the Oz Sky Ranch. We pride ourselves on keeping the property lovely and clean. We are also opening our home and farm to you. So please respect it and enjoy it as we do. We have 5 designated campsites positioned around the property. Within the designated sites, there are camp spots that we rotate. Please check with us to see what ones are open. We need to rotate the sites and rest them. This is how we keep them well-maintained and looking amazing. If it is wet weather we will close down sites and recommend other spots. We pride our self’s on having a lovely property and want you to have an amazing camping experience. If it is bad weather, we will recommend another site or you can change dates. Campfires are allowed at designated camp spots when fire bans aren't in place. Firewood is available to purchase . We have a no dog policy. No smoking is allowed on the property, vaping is fine at your own campsite. No glass Policy, bring cans or leave your wine bottle in your caravan or tent/car. Bring plastic glasses to drink out off. We do have a lot of rule, they are in place to give you a Beautiful environment to Camp in and To look after our Animals and farm. We accept groups however we have strict rules around this, so please discuss with us first. If you are up early in the morning you may be lucky enough to see the best in QLD barefoot water skiers training on the lake and also tandem hang gliders getting towed up from the airstrip. Kingsland Camping Mt. Maroon

64 Hectares surrounded by National Park. *There are no showers but there is a compost toilet available.* A perfect spot to stay over for the Mt. Maroon climb. The local area has a tourism focus with plenty of opportunities to explore the Scenic Rim. Lake Moogara and Maroon Dam are not far away for jet skis, kayaking and swimming. If you are not up for Mt Maroon climb which could take up to 3 hours each way, there are always walks around the area that are less challenging. We are family friendly with easy terrain to set up for first time campers. Wake up to beautiful views and serenity. Sorry, no dogs are allowed as we have koalas and we are surrounded by National Parks Campfires permitted when restrictions aren't in place. Check on the day, it is usually fine to cook with contained cookers during a fire ban. BYO gas BBQ. Please note that there are no showers or potable (drinkable) water on our property, you will need to bring your own. Bring what you need and take it away. Leave no trace.

Andrew Drynan Park-Camp with a view

Andrew Drynan Park is situated on Running Creek, 47 km south of Beaudesert and 19 km from Rathdowney on the Lions Road. The drive from Brisbane will take a couple of hours. It has an impressive backdrop formed by Mt Chinghee. Running Creek is a lovely flowing creek which is very inviting in summer and the park offers a great bush camp. Toilets, BBQs, picnic tables and swimming. BYO drinking water. Pets to be restrained. No showers—a dip in the creek will keep you clean but please don’t use soap or detergent. Directions: At Rathdowney, turn left into Running Creek Rd and travel approximately 17km south east. Campers & Day Trippers Rules: The Park is for everyone to enjoy, so please adhere to a few simple guidelines while enjoying this beautiful park. By using this park you agree to the following rules. All vehicles entering the park must observe 10 Km per hour speed limit. Fires must be extinguished prior to departure. Park users must clean up their area when leaving, by taking all rubbish, including food scraps and disposable nappies with them, so the next users can enjoy the Park as well. Do not burn your rubbish. It must be taken with you! The disposal of nappies in the grass around the waterline, and in fire pits, is a serious risk to human health, the health of the creek, surrounding stock and the ecosystem! Please be respectful of other camper’s space & privacy! Do not set up on top of other campers. Generator use is restricted to 4 hours per day between the hours of 2pm to 6pm. Dogs must be on short leads and confined to your campsite at all times. No music or noise after 10pm, noise level must at all times be at an acceptable level so as not to disturb other users. No antisocial behavior. No camping on creek banks. No playing around toilet block area. No livestock to be kept on the park. No cutting down trees. No person to travel in the load area of vehicles. No motorcycles other than on the formed roads or when moving between your campsite and the road. No stock whips, firearms or weapons of any sort, chainsaws, drones or fireworks allowed in the park. No use of detergents, soaps or shampoos in creek. No washing dishes or clothing in creek. No hitting of Golf balls. No cricket with cricket ball (tennis ball ok). No swings to be tied to trees. Anyone who is non-compliant may be directed by park management to leave the park and if so must leave without delay. Non-compliance will be referred to local Police and you may face legal action for trespassing. Park management reserves the right to refuse anyone entry to and use of the park. Our location is perfect for easy access from Brisbane, Ipswich, and the Gold Coast at only 45 - 60 mins from either. We have over 900 acres of camping, 4WDing and other activities. Tracks range from easy off-road right up to "winches and lockers required". Bring your hiking shoes and mountain bikes to go on your own adventure.
