Really enjoyed our weekend at Camp Guinea. It's close to Ipswich so a good choice for a quick weekend away. Janine met us on arrival and gave us a quick walk through (and her number is posted in the camp kitchen just in case). The horses are lovely and will happily accept a pat and the night sky was spectacular!
Great amenities set up - don't be scared by the composting loo, it's very civilised and no smell - and has a fairy light chandelier lol :) Hot water showers too.
There is a bit of road noise (it's just off the highway, so gotta expect that) but didn't mind too much as I find sleeping in complete silence difficult thanks go city life!

We really enjoyed our stay! The facilities were excellent, featuring a kitchen, BBQ, and a clean toilet. The hot shower was very relaxing, and the farm animals made the experience even more memorable. It was so great that we've already recommended it to friends, and we plan to come back soon. Highly recommended! Thank you for hosting us!

We had a great time camping at Camp Guinea! Janine greeted us at the locked gate and was a great host throughout. Having a hot shower, toilet and camp kitchen (incl gas BBQ which we used every day) all to ourselves was a great treat. There was plenty of shade and the kids loved feeding the goats and ponies. You are close to the highway and there is highway noise but we didn’t let it affect our stay. The stars at night by the campfire were bliss.

Janine’s place was exactly as advertised – and even better. From the moment we arrived, Janine was a warm and welcoming host who made us feel completely at home.
The kitchen and toilet/shower facilities were perfect – clean, well set up, and everything you need for a comfortable stay while still enjoying the magnificent outdoors.
We spent a peaceful, tranquil weekend under the stars, surrounded by the spectacular scenery of Mount Edwards, which makes the setting feel incredibly special and secluded.
A highlight was meeting and patting the adorably cute one-eyed miniature pony – such a sweet little character 🐴
If you’re looking for a relaxing escape in nature with just the right facilities to add a touch of glamping to your experience, and want a property all to yourself, this is it!
I highly recommend this fantastic spot. We would absolutely return!!!

Fantastic campsite with excellent amenities, including a hot shower and composting toilet. We loved relaxing around the campfire in the evenings. The host was friendly and helpful, offering plenty of great suggestions for exploring the surrounding area. There was some road noise at times, though it didn’t impact our overall enjoyment.

Lovely relaxing location, where you can bring your fur babies and have a camp fire without all the regultions of a camp ground!, Close to lakes and hiking trails. Host was very friendly and helpful. Amenities were top class. Able to pat the goats and horses. Great relaxing weekend exploring the surrounding area.

Great, private camping spot. Janine is a great host. Kids loved experiencing the composting toilet and feeding the horse and goats. Location is great for day trips. Highly recommend!

It was so nice to stay this place. Easy to access, and wide enough for a group of people. Facilities such as toilet, shower, bbq and fire place were so helpful to make our camping easy and fun. Owners are also very kind so that I felt very comportable. I recommend this place :)

Wow this is an awesome camp site with all the creature comforts
Great fire place, wonderful camp shower yes with hot water and rare to see in such a camp ground , a composting toilet. There is also a compost bin for all your vege scraps. Bird life abundant. Our group of Ten had a wonderful relaxing 4 days around the camp fire. The hosts were wonderful, showed us were to camp and left us to our own devices. There is also a picturesque dam to walk to, and swim if you so desired
