If you have a 4wd you can take a short drive up to Spicers Gap National Park. Here there is a short walk out to the Governors Chair lookout with spectacular views of the Fassifern Valley and beyond. We currently don't have a boat ramp however once you have launched your boat at the public boat ramp we have a nice bay in front of the campground where you can anchor your boat.

Then come and land right next to your friends and family at the Oz Sky Ranch. We pride ourselves on keeping the property lovely and clean. We are also opening our home and farm to you. So please respect it and enjoy it as we do. We have 5 designated campsites positioned around the property. Within the designated sites, there are camp spots that we rotate. Please check with us to see what ones are open. We need to rotate the sites and rest them. This is how we keep them well-maintained and looking amazing. If it is wet weather we will close down sites and recommend other spots. We pride our self’s on having a lovely property and want you to have an amazing camping experience. If it is bad weather, we will recommend another site or you can change dates. Campfires are allowed at designated camp spots when fire bans aren't in place. Firewood is available to purchase . Rainforest Gateway is located approximately 8klms along Grady's Creek Road, just 20 klms north of Kyogle and 15 klms from the Queensland border on the popular scenic tourist route, Lions Road. Kyogle is a bustling town with an IGA supermarket, MTB riding tracks, lovely gift shops, cinema, bowling alley, and a selection of dining outlets. For those wanting to immerse themselves in nature, the Border Ranges National Park is a short drive away. Please note Lions Road is temporarily closed for road repairs, however, we CAN still be reached on Gradys Creek Road off Summerland Way. The road closure is another 10+ klms further down the road. As a starting point for this new venture at Findon Creek we offer 3 sites which are all suitable for larger groups; all situated on grassy open spaces beside the creek. In wet conditions you will need a 4WD to access these sites, though the flats themselves are not boggy. Explore the great outdoors by wandering along our extensive bush tracks and trying your hand at fishing in our farm dam stocked with silver perch. Figtree Farm has an abundance of bird and animal life. Here, tranquillity reigns, save for the occasional serenade of our friendly neighbourhood donkeys and the odd rooster. If you wish to wander further afield, Kyogle is a 30 minute drive away. And there is an all weather tennis court (with lights) nearby at Bundgeam Hall. Beautiful little cabin tucked away amongst the trees, fully set up so you don’t need to leave. Kathryn and Phillip were so accomodating and really made the stay as easy and pleasant as possible. They made fresh bread for arrival and brought up water, ice and firewood when we ran low free of charge! They have built a beautiful fairy garden and look out point at the back which was lovely for a walk through. They really have put in a big effort with it! Outdoor bath was super lovely too by the fire. Highly recommend the property for all the amenities and what it offers and for how lovely Kathryn and Phillip are!

We had a beautiful stay. A complete switch off. We enjoyed cooking meals in the outdoor kitchen, lots of relaxing baths in the outdoor bathroom, sitting beside the fire and sleeping and waking up to the sounds of nature. Lots of beautiful native birds visited us while we were there. We also explored the property and neighbouring area with our dog. The cabin feels secluded and very private. We took the advice of another reviewer and took a couple of camp chairs to sit around the fire pit.

The entire property is fastidiously maintained . The tree huts were very comfortable and cool despite a few hot hours outside , affording an amazing view of the mighty Clarence . Our stay at Clarence River Wilderness Retreat was absolutely beautiful. The property is so remote and serene that you truly feel like the only people in the world. The river and surrounding nature are breathtaking — the perfect place to slow down and reconnect. Living simply for the weekend was so peaceful and grounding. We had everything we needed; the off-grid amenities were fantastic and thoughtfully set up. We spent our days playing cards, strumming guitar by the fire, watching an incredible storm roll in at night, and soaking up the sunshine the next day while canoeing and relaxing by the river. A special mention to Sharon, one of the owners, who was so friendly, welcoming, and proud of her beautiful property. Hearing her stories about her family and the land made the experience even more special. We felt completely safe, comfortable, and cared for during our stay. If you’re looking for a place to truly unwind, disconnect, and immerse yourself in nature — this is it.

I had the most magical stay in the Treehouse! Such a beautiful area and a stunning backdrop - I loved waking up to the sounds of birds and enjoying a cuppa on the deck. There is a dam on the property for a refreshing dip and the best toilet/shower set-up. Honestly, couldn't recommend this stay enough and although there is access to shops close by, I would recommend bringing some food with you and letting yourself enjoy nature for a few days 🌿

So perfect! The cutest cabin with everything you need and the most stunning views and surroundings. Hosts are super friendly and warm and made sure I knew where everything is and how it works. Was a great and safe place for my little dog to run around without wandering too far away. The most perfect getaway spot, and great utilites including a bath looking out to the mountains. I could not recommend it enough! (Btw, Bed is firm but comfy imo)

You NEED to experience this place. What a most magical weekend away we had. The outdoor claw foot bath was AMAZING, it was so lovely to soak your stress away while watching the breeze in the trees! Kathryn & Phil have thought of everything you could possible imagine! The attention to detail and all the creature comforts are second to none. We enjoyed drinks by the fire at night and what a pleasure it was to have a beautiful hot shower off grid! The fairy garden is something to be experienced, so much love has gone into this magical space. Sitting having a drink at Lovers Lane is a must do as well. The bed is super comfortable too. Honestly when they say they have everything, they mean it, just pack your clothes, drinks and food everything else (even freshly baked bread & firewood) will be there waiting for you. We will 100% be back, cant rave about this spot enough! Even the possum came to say hello! Do yourself a favour and book this now, you won't regret it for a second.

Our stay at the treehouse was everything we needed for a peaceful reset. Nestled on a beautiful property near Springbrook National Park, we were surrounded by the sounds and sights of nature, pure tranquillity. The space felt private, serene, and perfect for a night by the fire, a homemade dinner, and a cosy board game inside. We had everything we needed. The fairy lights twinkling around the treehouse and the beautiful flower garden made it feel truly magical, like stepping into a little hidden haven. The owners were so lovely and welcoming, clearly pouring so much passion and care into both the treehouse and their property. They made us feel right at home and shared some great local recommendations, including a refreshing swim at Hart Bridge and a coffee and plant shop at a gorgeous nursery café down the road. Plus, we loved saying hello to all the friendly cows on the way there! It was the perfect nature escape, peaceful, thoughtful, and full of charm. We couldn’t recommend it more.
