Formally a banana & pineapple plantation, Hunchy Hills is strictly 4WD only access property. There is a toilet and gas hot shower included. If you have a camper trailer it needs to be off-road/high clearance and you need to be experienced towing in steep and tight off road conditions. No caravans or Hybrids, too steep and tight.
Sites 1-3 are large level pads approx. 12M by 12M, each with their own fire pit and seat.
Site 4 is perched on the side of the hill and 6M by 6M in size. Suitable for vehicle based campers/swags/small tents with a sense of adventure, max 2 people. We have a backup spot if access is too difficult.
Pets (on leash) are welcome, please ensure you pick up after them.
Kids (15 and under) are free and are not counted in the maximum number of guests.
Firewood is sold at the check-in via an honesty box. $20 per bag.
Travel down the gravel road for about half 900m and pop out through a tree tunnel to a secluded cleared grass paddock where the toilet & sites 1-3 are situated. Site 4 is on top of a small hill separate to the main camping area. Site 5 is in its own cleared paddock, looking out to bush.
Site 1 is in shade in winter and partial sun in summer.

We are located 3 minutes from Montville and 7 min to Palmwoods.
There's plenty to explore in the area with short drives to the many attractions including National Parks, Glass House Mountains, the famous Rick's Garage Diner, wineries, micro breweries and more.
Go fishing at Baroon Pocket Dam and have a swim at Obi Obi Creek or Kondalilla Falls or Gardeners Falls. If you're after some saltwater it's a 30 min drive to most beaches on the coast.

Riverdell is 166 acres located on the eastern side of the Blackall Range extending down to the Mooloolah River headwaters. Escape off grid to enjoy the peace and quiet, watch the cattle grazing in the paddocks, spot the native birdlife or cuddle up by the fire in your own secluded paradise.
Sunrises are spectacular while sunsets by open campfire are also a highlight of the Riverdell experience. Take a short walk up the creek branching west of the Mooloolah River to see some scenic rockpools and waterfalls in the cool of the rainforest canopy. Walking boots/shoes are highly recommended.
There is plenty to do and see in the area including exploring nearby Mary Cairncross Scenic Reserve, Gardeners Falls, Kondalilla National Park, Australia Zoo, indulge in a tasting at the Barrel at Clouds Vineyard opposite the front gate, stroll through Maleny Botanic Gardens & Bird World or take a short drive to some of Australia’s most beautiful beaches.
Access during daylight hours via 4WD ONLY with AT or MT off-road Tyres, RT Tyres are not permitted due to the steepness of the tracks. Off-road camper trailers are suitable (max weight 1500kg and max length 5m restrictions apply). There are Portaloos located at or near all campsites.
Caravans or motor homes are not permitted due to the steep terrain. Riverdell is dog friendly, off leash if trained, and recommend tick treatment before arrival. For safety, no arrivals after dark unless arranged prior.

Unbelievable location, crystal clear water. Friendly horses come up and kids can pat them. Loads of fire wood on site. Plenty of shade from the sun.
The camps sites are really well kept. We stayed on the site closest to the creek and there was plenty of grass on the site. Fire pits were excellent. Shane was an excellent host, really friendly and hospitable. Easily the best Hipcamp we have stayed at. My son is really keen to come back asap.

Great spot loved the view, highly recommend (suggest bringing a four wheel drive though) we took a van and it was hard to monover but worth the trip

Beautiful, private and serene. Cute little campsite perfect for couples. There is a creek either side of the campsite that offers beautiful scenery as well as a great soundtrack to sleep to. The views all around a really nice too. We will definitely be back!

The "serenity" at Wash Creek was wonderful. We shared the campsite with birds, kangaroos, the properties cattle and the bush turkeys. The sounds of the creek running was so relaxing. Tim " the timber deliverer" was so nice and friendly. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Stanlyn Park.

This campsite is beautiful. Everything is well planned and the instructions were very easy to follow. The toilets were definitely the cleanest I have seen in any campsite and did not smell at all. No complaints at all. Would recommend and would love to come again :)

We had an absolutely amazing stay! From the very beginning, the communication was fantastic, and everyone was extremely friendly, welcoming and accommodating. The campsite itself was beautiful, and the entire property was stunning. The views were incredible and made our stay even more special.
The hosts went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed, even bringing the meat we had purchased directly to our campsite, which was such a thoughtful touch.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and couldn’t have asked for a better experience. We will definitely be recommending this beautiful campsite to our friends and family and would happily stay again!

Each site has flat platforms to set up on and the short 4x4 trip is fun for the kids
