Jacquis rainforest escape was just what was needed to get away from it all and relax in a private campground right by a rainforest and running fresh creek with extra touches to make it special. It was so handy having the undercover area with table and seats and fire wood, teas, marshmellows etc and a little tank of rain water. Loved the fire pit where you can cook over the open fire . Very peaceful. Highly recommend and Jacqui is such a beautiful host to deal with and made us very welcome. I'll be back. 😊

Private Rainforest Camp in Woombye
We loved Woombye Rainforest Escape and we will definitely be repeat visitors. Jacqui is a wonderful host, so easy to communicate with and her property is magical. WRE is going to be our default hipcamp for short getaways. The camp offers easy access, gorgeous surrounds, flat site and above all total privacy. The hammock and cushions, outdoor dining setting in the undercover area, deck chairs and Bali Hut are the little touches that take WRE to the next level. Add in a fire in the provided firepits fairy lights at night and the abundance of stars, relaxation comes naturally. Through the day exploring the moss lined creek in the rainforest and visiting the swimming hole made the whole experience perfect. To top it off our dogs were welcome off leash and if we needed anything Woombye shops were not far away. Thanks Jacqui, see you soon.
What a beautiful spot and host 🤗 Vicki was a wonderful host and sent great directions and details. The camp site was just beautiful and no detail was missed. There was even a bush bar 🍻 camp box with Marshmallows, tea, coffee, first aid kit etc. There was fire wood for sale but Vicki also had the fire pit stocked and ready to go, there were pine cones, fire tools, fire starters, lighters etc. There was also a table with bench seats, extra chairs and cushions, hsmocjs and cushions, festoon lights and that was just the camp site. There were water falls, a beautiful creek and lots of tracks to explore. We had a bit of rain but the place was set up so well set up, we didn't get wet or cold. Such a very beautiful spot. We will definitely be revisiting 💚🥰💚🥰

Beautiful private space in the rainforest! Had a very relaxing weekend 👍
Heaven! Cool, peaceful and private. We and our doggo had such a beautiful time here and will definitely be back again. So much exploring to be done and we discovered that apparently our dog is part mountain goat with the way he scaled up the waterfall.

We love this piece of paradise. If you want total privacy with lush rainforest...beautiful creeks...a gorgeous dam with a two seater paddle boat...hammocks...Bali hut with keg and bar stools for drinks...undercover picnic table....walking trails...firepit with stokers etc...sounds of birds....but still about 10 mins from Woombye that has cafes and coffee shops to offer. This is our favourite hipcamp and the host Jacqui always goes above and beyond to make our stay memorable. We cant recommend this highly enough.

Such a lovely place, large clearing with plenty of space to lick a ball or let the kids have a play. Beautiful starry night and very private.

We copped a good dose of rain while we were there so, unfortunately, weren't able to experience all this place had to offer, but can't wait to come back to see it all.

Another great stay at WRE. Seems we always but weekends when it rains but we did manage to have a lovely clear day to explore with our pups. Thank you Jacqui for making it so welcoming for us, and the great communication, with the regular updates. Until next time ☺️

Wow! Beautiful and private spot amungst the forest with a lovely little babbling brook right next to the camp. Jacqui has put a lot of thought into it has gone above and beyond for her guests. Spent a very tranquil 2 nights here, and will definately be returning 🥰

This was the best Hipcamp site I have been to. From the hospitality of Jacqui to the well appointed and immaculate camp site we had in the middle of a beautiful and tranquil rainforest. Can’t recommend highly enough!
WRE is absolutely beautiful. Jacqui is a very kind and helpful host with little touches like marshmallows, hammocks with comfy cushions, deck chairs, camp kettle and so much more. The site is situated in a gorgeous rainforest next to a running stream.....where we spent most of our time, sitting, listening and observing. We loved the hike up to the waterfall! We're so appreciative to Jacqui for sharing her property with us and booked another 4 night stay after seeing how lovely it is. Highly recommend!

It was the most idealic, peaceful piece of heaven. Very private, well set up with undercover area and picnic table, little bar set up and my favourite the hammocks with comfy cushions the added piece of luxury. Great to explore with the creek next to camp and further upstream the small waterfalls. A great swimming hole with another table set up with a sand access set up to enter the water. We couldn’t fault this place at all and Jacqui, the host, had thought of everything. Loved our stay. and will definitely be going back.

This is an amazing spot! All to yourself with heaps of flat space, well shaded and next to a beautiful creek. Jacqui was a great host and has gone to a lot of effort to make the site comfortable, with a cabana, a permanent shade structure, lots of furniture, hammocks, firepit and fairy lights. She even had some basic supplies for guests - so thoughtful! There are great short walks onsite to the waterfall (with some fun rock scrambling) and to a swimming spot and the dam. Beautifully nestled in the rainforest, it was the perfect place to relax. We'll be back!!

We loved our stay at Jacqueline's place, camping in the rain forest beside a beautiful creek.
Jacqui had the camping spot nicely set up with Hammocks, coffee and tea ready to enjoy.
There was lots to do around the area as well,
We can definitely recommend this place
I cannot recommend this place enough for dogs, and a few friends. Very beautiful spot, plenty just down the road to do, plenty of bush to explore. Can just let your dogs free and roam, Jacqui is just amazing and will help out with anything. Fire pit, plenty of wood, fire starters hammocks, table already set, she has really thought of everything. Must go and will be back.

Private Rainforest Camp in Woombye
Jaquie is a great host, very accommodating whilst providing complete privacy. The track into the site was a little steep and tight in sections for our 16ft van but nothing too challenging. The site is amazing, a very versatile and convenient rain forest escape.
We loved this place. It was very private and peaceful. We swam in the creek, went for bushwalks, had drinks at the bar and cooked over the fireplace that Jacqui had supplied. We will definitely be back! Thanks for your wonderful hospitality Jacqui.
Jacqueline is so kind!! The spot is amazing, felt safe and really an ideal place to bring my fur baby along (she had a lot of fun!)

We spent over a week at Woombye Rainforest Retreat and couldn’t have asked for a better place to relax, recharge and spend quality time with family.
We’ve lost count of how many times we’ve stayed with Jaqui, and each visit feels like coming home. Every detail is thoughtfully considered, and it’s always exciting to see the new touches and improvements to the property and campsite each time we return.
It’s a truly special place, made even more so by Jaqui and Billy’s exceptional warmth and hospitality. We can’t wait to come back again.

This camp site and setup went above and beyond our expectations. Was extremely tidy and very thoughtful with how it was set up! Will definitely be returning and recommend everyone give it a try. You won’t be disappointed.
I can easily say this is the most beautifully crafted hipcamp I have ever visited. The location was stunning, green and luscious in the forest, a gorgeous creek/waterfall and a huge space. Jacqui has put so much love and care into every detail of the space, from decorations to fairy lights, a bush bar, gorgeous sign, hammock, even a box with supplies incase you forget to bring something. Such a top hipcamp, thanks Jacqui for having me and my puppy. We will definitely be back! 😊
