It was my friend’s first time camping, so we came prepared with portable aircon and all creature comforts. Didn’t need the ac as the breeze at the site was incredible, no flies, no insects. Amazing views and a fun swing. Keen to come back!

10/10 Can’t fault this at all. The view was absolutely unreal. The swing is such a quirky feature to the site but makes it. Enough room to fit a 4X4 comfortably with enough room for chairs and what not. Super friendly cows came to check in on us a few times but didn’t bother us. Will definitely be back !

such a peaceful spot to camp for a few nights ! cows were nosy but adorable. the horse could care less about you but loves a little nose scratch. it’s so quiet, no noise apart from mooing and birds. so private too. such a quick trip into town (highly recommend the pies at the bakery). highly recommend for a couple getaway

Such a beautiful and peaceful location! I ended up booking this again in the same week because I loved it so much! With so much privacy and a beautiful spot to watch the sunset what’s not to love! And the cows & horses were just the cherry on top!

Great over nighter with a sunset for a tv in the afternoon.
Well worth the watch.
Bit tight for setup on the level in front of the swing with the Ute with a rooftop tent the swing could have been setup a few meters down the hill ⛺️.
Other wise 10/10. ☝️

We loved our evening and this spot is incredible.
Super easy directions provided by host, contactless check in and the view was breathtaking.
Fire pit and swing at the site. Site only small but perfect for the roof top tent.
Hope to go back sometime soon.

We overall loved the scenic swing site, the view was amazing would recommend to couples having a getaway. Only thing I would say that wasn’t to pleasant was the curious cows they got a bit to nosy and took over the fire 😂, and would not recommend parking close to the tree if you have a rooftop tent as there was a horse scratching its back and banging against the rooftop for hours of the night.

A lovely spot to perch and watch the sun set and the views over Kenilworth are magical. It is a small site, with only a small section that is level. Bring your caravan level ramp and you'll be fine.
Also try the walk to Gheerulla falls, just 5 mins drive away.

So close to fabulous hiking in Mapleton Falls NP - only about 500m from the camp site.
Site is not flat so ensure you have adequate levelers

Awesome private little spot! Was great for us with our rooftop tent, however I could see how vans or trailers would struggle. Close enough to spend the day in kenilworth/exploring. Morning and night views were so special, had so many people asking about it. We will definitely be back plenty more times! Thanks guys.

I stayed on top of the hill by the swing. Awesome view!
I did not visit the other sites; but I get the feeling they might’ve been less windy and cold. I do not regret my little spot though!
Watch out for the magpie! They just want your food! Haha

Restful Ridges was a quiet, peaceful spot with an amazing scenic view. The site’s a bit small, best for one car if using a rooftop tent, but we still had a great time. The cows were a highlight, scratching their chins on our tray and wandering over at night like they were asking, “Fire pit time?” A simple, fun stay.

The Swing Site did indeed have a lovely view as described but the camping pitch is very small and only really suitable for a small tent or swag and even then you would be on unlevelled ground. No way could you put a caravan on the site and I had a job with my camper trailer. Did not have enough room to put up the awning. Thankfully only there for one night.

@beachbumstravl - Beautiful views, sunrise and sunset were amazing. Very quiet and spacious, very easy directions to get in and out of the property. Loved our stay with our dog. Would recommend. Will have a post on our page :))
