This isn’t a busy campground or a highly developed retreat. It’s a place where things are left simple on purpose. The air smells of eucalyptus, the creek runs steadily through the land, and the sounds around you shift from traffic and screens to birds, breeze, and water. From the moment you arrive, you’ll notice the difference—not in a dramatic way, but in a quiet, steady one. Days here are simple. There’s no schedule. People naturally drift toward the creek—for a morning coffee, a cool-down swim, or just to sit and listen. Kids explore freely, while adults read, rest, or simply enjoy the space. Evenings bring a shift. Fires are lit, meals are shared, and the day slows right down. There’s no noise, no rush—just time. And then the stars arrive. Far from city lights, the sky fills with stars—clear, bright, and uninterrupted. It’s the kind of sky that makes you stop and look up. The Property The property is intentionally small, with only four campsites: • Creek Bend Camp (Family) • Bellbird Camp (Family) • Stargazer Camp (Couples) • Quiet Creek Camp (Couples) Each site is spaced for privacy and offers a slightly different feel while still sharing the same core experience. This is a working property, home to native wildlife. We ask guests to respect the land, keep noise low, and leave no trace. Lacrana by the Creek is best suited to those who value quiet, space, and a slower pace. If you’re looking to switch off, breathe, and enjoy a few days under a sky full of stars—you’ll feel right at home.

It was a nice site to camp out with low light pollution for great views of the stars. The creek nearby was a lovely addition. The hosts were very helpful, they even lent me an usb charger for my campervan. I would recommend the site to other people.

Stargazer Camp Site (Premium)
Great camp site. Stargazer camp site was located on an elevated grassed platform with fire place next to a small running creek. We had an 18ft van and had plenty of room . Shane and Robyn are excellent hosts. Would definitely recommend a visit.

Quite Creek Camp Site
The owner was fantastic and helpful in finding the spot which was not well signed. The sites were private and seemed new with earthworks happening, but we stayed at Quiet Creek and the site was small and on quite a slope. There were also some people on the property driving around with very loud music, and we heard a few gunshots over a few hours which felt unsafe as we assume they were maintaining the property but we were not told. We would have expected some communication about this.

Bellbird Camp Site
We absolutely loved our stay here. The location is stunning right by a stream, surrounded by nature, and so peaceful. Waking up to birds and falling asleep to frogs made it feel really special. Shane was a fantastic host. He met us when we arrived and kindly ran ahead of our car to show us exactly where to go, which we really appreciated. Such a relaxing getaway, we’d definitely come back and recommend 😊
