Kids are free to 17 so if you have children between 12-17, please include them in the "children" booking. We provide an exclusive booking for you on absolute river frontage for tents and camper trailers. Spend your time swimming, fishing, canoeing or simply sipping a cold drink on the pontoon under the umbrella. With an easterly aspect you’ll want to spend the morning swimming or exploring the riverscape and when the afternoon shade sets in light the campfire and put your feet up. There is no vehicular boat ramp but still excellent access for other small watercraft. Due to the steep track to the camp area we insist on 4WD’s only - though you can walk down if feeling energetic! Please bring drinking water and a desire to leave the riverside just as you found it. We have enough room for around 20 people in tents or camper trailers. Portaloo toilet available at the campsite. Campfires are permitted in the circle but please be mindful of any restrictions. You can purchase firewood from us if needed. Dogs are also welcome but must stay with you at all times. We are 10km from the town of Crows Nest on the Great Dividing Range. 50 minutes from Toowoomba and 2 hours from Brisbane. The hill on the property (Flat Top) is one of the highest points in the area at 660m altitude. From the hilltop, you can enjoy 360-degree views of the surrounding area, with views across the Esk Valley towards the Sunshine Coast, sunsets over the hills surrounding Crows Nest, and even glimpses of Cressbrook Dam. There are 2 separate campsites on the hilltop, one at each end. We also have 3 secluded bush campsites down in the paddocks, these are private and peaceful with no other campers within sight. They are all situated to be able to enjoy the sunset. We feel very spoilt living here in this beautiful place and would love for others to share it. It is extremely quiet and peaceful, yet less than a 15-minute drive to Crows Nest. Settled in 1866 by Mr. Robert Brown. The land is now used for beef cattle and a small amount of dry land hay production. We have 3 private campsites to offer, all have good distance from each other with no visibility of other camps. Approximately 400m from other sites. We like to camp with room too! All sites are fenced off with a gate to drive in and keep the cattle out. Please select a site for more detailed description on what to expect and the extras it offers. Things to do - Send some golf balls into space -The creek is seasonal, only flowing after good rain. It will dry up in some conditions. Swimming in the water holes is ok, please check in the water for depth and sticks -Brisbane river is up the road (10mins) to Savages crossing or Twin Bridges. Fantastic swimming or lazing in the running water. -Push bikes, Brisbane Valley Rail Trail is 5min away if you jump on at Borallon Station Rd. Some cattle tracks for the kids to ride along in the paddock also. -Wivenhoe, Somerset Dam in the area for water sports -Wildlife watching, this paddock sustains a large variety of native animals, if you’ve got a keen eye -Bottle Tree pub is just down the road, - bit more than walking distance tho :) -Take it easy.

Weefarm Brisbane River Camping

'Weefarm' is situated on a picturesque bend of the Brisbane River near Fernvale and is accessible by 4WD only. Kids are free to 17 so if you have children between 12-17, please include them in the "children" booking. We provide an exclusive booking for you on absolute river frontage for tents and camper trailers. Spend your time swimming, fishing, canoeing or simply sipping a cold drink on the pontoon under the umbrella. With an easterly aspect you’ll want to spend the morning swimming or exploring the riverscape and when the afternoon shade sets in light the campfire and put your feet up. There is no vehicular boat ramp but still excellent access for other small watercraft. Due to the steep track to the camp area we insist on 4WD’s only - though you can walk down if feeling energetic! Please bring drinking water and a desire to leave the riverside just as you found it. We have enough room for around 20 people in tents or camper trailers. Portaloo toilet available at the campsite. Campfires are permitted in the circle but please be mindful of any restrictions. You can purchase firewood from us if needed. Dogs are also welcome but must stay with you at all times. Please let us know they are coming as well.

Welcome to 'Bares Hideaway', a 43 acre property nestled away from prying eyes in a secluded valley along the Liverpool Ranges in Grandchester. We are a short 1 hr drive from Brisbane and Toowoomba surrounded by acres of bushland. We are a 10 minute drive from Rosewood and Laidley where you will find cafes, supermarkets, fuel and a variety of other things to enjoy. Our lovely campground will accommodate swags, tents, campers, caravans and motorhomes. We provide an extensive camping ground which ensures that you will have a large amount of space to set up comfortably. Flushing toilets and hot showers are provided. We offer you the choice of a standard enclosed private shower or the fun of open air showers. We are happy for you to come and camp on your own or book the entire place if you have an event, large groups are welcome. There is a designated area that can be hired for parties and private functions with marquees available if required. If you are looking for clothing optional or nude camping we fully welcome you to do so. However we need to know at the time of booking so we can allocate an appropriate location so all campers are comfortable. Pets are welcome and must be under control and on a leash as there are farm animals kept on this property. Camp fires are permitted in communal fire areas or at your camp in provided fire drums. The only exception will be if a local fire ban is activated. You are welcome to bring your own firewood, or you can collect it off the ground. No chainsaws allowed. Please note that there is no potable water on site. You must bring your own DRINKING water. During extreme weather events the property can be affected, so if rain is forecast, please call before heading out. Things to do and see: The Grandchester hotel is a short 10min walk away and offers cold drinks, great meals and friendly country hospitality. Spicers Hidden Vale is approximately 6km away and perfect for bike riders. Rosewood train museum showcases steam locomotives and Grandchester scale model rail rides run once a month. All sites are unpowered. Generators are welcome between 7am and 9pm. PRICE. $25 per night Max 2 people. $10 per night for any extra people on that site. $5 for kids 5 years to 12 years. Under 5 years free. $10 per person for day visits. NO trail bikes, quads or ATVS.
