Perfect camping site for kids. The playground was great to keep them happy and occupied. Nice rainforest hikes nearby at Mt Glorious. Site was a little tricky to find, but the hosts were very helpful.

This was our second stay and still loved it. We invited the rest of the family to join us this time and had a wonderful time together. Nice flat ground with plenty of shade. Well maintained area. The kids love the playground area.

This is one of the best Hipcamps I've been to, and we've been to a lot. Exactly as described, plenty of space between sites, fire pits, great if self contained, but portaloos available if you need toilets. The best part was the abundant play equipment for kids. Trampoline, flying fox, and more. All well maintained. I highly recommend.

Awesome little place, nice and private this we weekend we scored it by ourselves for our men’s group and the place had a special feel about it.

We stayed at the middle site on the higher level. It was great! There was plenty of room for 2 x 10 man tents, 2 x 3mx3m gazebos and 2 big cars with room to spare. The toilet was very nice and clean and easy to use. As you are next to a road in a valley you do hear traffic noise at night. Mostly it seemed to be motorbikes which were loud but if you are use to traffic noise you can drown in out easy enough. We took our toddler and a dog and there was plenty of room for them both to run around. Danielle the host met us at the gate and was so lovely and helpful. We will definitely be back.

Beautiful quiet location even though it is just off the road. Nice flat ground. Loved how close it is to water access for swimming and kayaking. Cute little play area set up for the youngsters and loved that there was a box of toys and sporting equipment.

We loved our camping experience, the layout of the campsite allowed for plenty of privacy, utilities were functioning properly so no issues there. You could hear some animals at night, there are a couple of farms in the area so we got some cows making noise at night.
The father of the owner came by in the morning to make sure we were all good and had a nice chat with us, very friendly.
We definitely recommend for a quick weekend escapy since its really close to Brisbane.

We absolutely loved our stay ! “How to get there “ and any house keeping instructions were communicated super clearly. You can tell a lot of intention and care goes into the camping areas. Kids loved the playground as well. Toilets were clean. We only stayed two nights but were very happy . There is so much to do and explore in the area so we are definitely thinking about going back and staying at Northbrook Skies again! Definitely one of my favourite camping spots now !

We had a lovely weekend at Northbrook Skies. We were lucky enough to have the whole place to ourselves! Well maintained campsites. We selected one down the bottom near the playground. Portaloo was clean. Peaceful surrounds and a perfect spot for a quick getaway.

I would like to say the the overall location being near the Dam and not too far from town was great. Danielle, the owner was lovely as well.
Unfortunately it is right next to a hoon hot spot. Bikes and cars flying past at high speed and late on Saturday night there were multiple cars doing dohnuts and burnouts right next to the sites. Sitting out front revving.. we got almost no sleep at all. That along with a very distressed cow making noises all night for both nights (probably just had its calf taken) made for a poor experience. Not much in the owners control apart from report to police but we probably won't be back. If it is a big block of land put the sites away from the road would be all you can do.

This was our third time at Northbrook skies and I know it won’t be our last! Danielle and her family are such wonderful hosts, it’s so lovely how they pop down to talk to the guests. The site was beautifully maintained as always and the play ground and flying fox are such a hit! It’s so lovely to see all the kids play. It was busy with it being Easter but you don’t feel like you’re on top of other groups which is fabulous. Can’t wait to come back again!!!

Great place to camp! It rained but didn't get muddy which was great. Toilets and campsite kept clean.
Danielle was great for my pre-camping questions.
Billies Bay just a 5 minute drive down the road for a swim.
Will definitely be back!

I had the whole place to myself and enjoyed the peace and tranquility and being able to listen to the birds in the morning. It’s also a short 5 minute drive to Billy’s Bay where you can have a nice swim.

Lots of space for kids to run around and play. Plenty of room for small or big set ups. Super close to lake Wivenhoe, great for boating, fishing or swimming! Great getaway close to Brisbane.

We loved camping at Northern Skies, Danielle & her children came to visit us which was a beautiful touch.

Great campsite with wide and accessible sites. It was very comfortable, but the road noise was a major downside. Loud motorcycles kept me awake until dawn.
