Michaela's place is delighted with creativities. There are art installations, studios, and even karaoke bar with lots of custumes to choose.
We enjoyed our camping time with doggos and horses. Besides, each camp ground is huge and far from eachother. We even had a dam view in the front of our camp ground!
Michaela always responds messages instantly and helped us a lot. :)) Would definitely recommend to come!

Michaela’s land is peaceful, scenic, and full of charm—perfect for a relaxing getaway. What really stood out were the friendly farm animals, especially the pony, pigs, dogs and horses, which added a unique and fun experience. The property is well cared for, with plenty of open space. Michaela was a welcoming and thoughtful host, making sure we felt comfortable throughout our stay. If you enjoy nature, animals, and a quiet escape, this spot is definitely worth visiting!

We booked with another family and we had a blast. It was quiet, the water was perfect for the kids to play in and there was a kayak for a bit of fun. The kids loved the different animals visiting, or going to different parts of the property to visit for feeding times. We enjoyed having a short time away close to home.

Our family fell in love with Seehorse Meadows. If you are looking for exclusivity, this is the place. The campsites are well maintained. The campsites are far from each other. A big thank you to Michaela as she treats so like family. She rescues animals and takes care of them in the farm. Her dogs are so sweet and we miss playing with them. The horses grazes while you camp and you will be lucky to be able to touch them.
Hot shower is accessible should you need them. Definiitely going back and bringing the rest of the mates here. Best camping site we’ve been so far. Dam in front, horsee, birds, dogs - dont get me wrong, the dogs just passed you by while they herd the horses and does not bother you. Horses are tamed.
To future guests, please take care of this place as Michaela has done a magnificent job turning this place to an unforgetable camping experience.

I loved camping at the meadows, the owner is very friendly and inviting, the landscape was also amazing with the animals roaming the other paddocks. I would come here again and would recommend to everyone to camp there.

Great campsite for self-sufficient campers who love a lot of space and privacy and dogs. We loved being adopted by a few of the friendly dogs (they might bark on entry, but were very sweet) who hung around to play fetch and get pats one morning. The horses are beautiful too. Highlight for us was having so much space and privacy. We had enough space for family soccer and touch games. Though there were other campers, we could barely see them. Only about an hour outside Brisbane too, which is nice for a quick trip. As other reviews have mentioned, either byo toilet or be comfortable with a bush wee or a several minute walk to composting toilet.

Great spot, plenty of space between campsites. We were probably 150m away from neighbours. We loved having horses, dogs, and other critters free range around us. They have toilets and water if required or you can opt to do your own thing. BYO fire wood but you can definitely find it on the ground. The hosts are excellent, lovely, down to earth and accommodating.

The dam was not as it appeared to be in the photos. But other than that we enjoyed the stay Atkinson dam was great though.

My partner, 4yo and I had such a lovely time camping at Seahorse Meadows. It was beautiful, peaceful and quiet for the most part (Easter weekend brought a bit of excitement!). Loads of space, flat (easy to camp) and could just see our nearest neighbour. Horses, dogs, a dam, bed to look at the stars...our 4yo loved it. Michaela could not have been nicer or done more for us if she tried! Super friendly, super helpful...and incredibly generous. An art class was put on during our stay which was really fun and we have momentos of our stay there. Highly recommend 👌 ✨️🐕🐴🌵🌈

I love this farm, the hosts are amazing. Quiet and privacy. Recommended for family and easy for first-time camper.
Just be noted that even there is wifi but it was too far from your camp site, bring ur own starlink or a normal signal booster just works fine. It is also a good idea to byo some firewood tho.

Beautiful property plenty of space for everyone. Kids enjoyed the dam in their inflatable boats and we all caught some Perch from their dam and a couple of BlueClaw Yabbies too! The dogs on the property were very cute and friendly and came to visit us often. Thanks so much for having us we had a great time😁

What a great place. The hosts are lovely and there is an extremely wide array of animals around the property.
I got to stay at the shady dam campsite and having the whole area to myself was awesome. You can’t hear or see anyone else.
Bit pricey, but I will definitely be back. What a relaxing weekend.

My group of 6 had an amazing time over new years at this camp. Michaela is an awesome host who made everything so easy for us. The property is huge with only 4 sites so each group has total privacy, we even had our own personal dam in our paddock! The scenery is beautiful with green grass and roaming horses. We will 100% be back to this camp and highly recommend it to anyone. The sites are flat and perfect for all setups, we had a 4m pop up camper, swags and a tent. Thanks Michaela!!!

My group of 6 had an amazing time over new years here. Michaela is an awesome host who made everything easy for us. There are only 4 sites on the property meaning we were so far away from any other campers and had completely privacy. We even had our own personal dam to swim in. The scenery was stunning with green grass and roaming horses. We will 100% return to this camp and highly recommend it.

Michaela's place offer you anything you need from a campsite.
BYO drinking water and toilet, otherwise you need to ask the host for water and there is just one toilet near the host property.

This is a great spot for family's, or even the grey nomads looking for a peaceful stopover.
Michaela was lovely, we all enjoyed our long weekender at seahorse meadows. It is close to both Lowood and Laidley so our group explored both of these townships during our stay.
The visiting pig gave our young girls a real treat and something for them to talk about when they're back at school.
We had a great time during our stay.

Michaela’s place was beautiful, serene and simple. Family run property with lots of friendly animals surrounding. Small dams on property for everyone to have water views. My son even caught a fish!
Property is 3km from Atkinson Dam for a quick day trip to swim, boat, fish and bbq.
Outback toilet and water available a 100 meter walk from site.

Very peaceful spot. Wake up to birdlife and there was a lovely little dam with was swimmable. We got a very private corner, so had the place to ourselves.
She does have one dog that roams around and barks a lot.
Apart from that one glitch which only happened when he was around, it was lovely.

Michaela’s farm was picturesque and large enough to accommodate a number of large parties. We had a wonderful stay over Easter, only interacting with other campers when visiting the dam for a swim. Of note, the drop toilet is at the top of the property which is quite a walk (or even a drive!) from most of the camping spots - not a problem for us, as we were happy to dig a hole - so come prepared! Also worth bringing your own water if able. The horses and roaming pig were a hit with the kids.

A lot larger than expected, careful consideration from the owner with regard to location to suit the group and their make up. We were 7 and 3 of us were children under 8 so we were directed to. Lovely little fenced and private area by our very own damn to swim in.
The property is vast and the northern end is newly planted with gums and native trees that lead to a great place to walk free without interrupting peoples private camp areas.
The dams are great for the kids, rustic, shallow, safe but good if you have your own showers as the kids swimmers will fill with silt.
It is a self sufficient camp site with only 1 long drop available but well worth a visit if you don’t mind not having facilities as the location is well worth it and the host is very friendly.
If you are travelling with dogs make sure you are in control of yours and they are not insecure as there are free roaming farm dogs and a pig during the day so be mindful of the free and open nature of the property. One delightful old lady collie often came to visit, swim and lay next us whilst we enjoyed camp she was such a character, bold but respectful and lovely to have around.
Would definitely visit again.

Excellent host who was east to contact prior to and throughout; always helpful and nothing too much trouble! Lovely flat green grasslands to camp on with nice light tree tree cover. Plenty of deadfall and a wood pile for firewood for campfires. Shady farm dam good for a dip and swim with the dogs. A range of country pubs within 20 min drive too. Nice and quite, great for groups, with plenty of space and privacy. We will be again with our social camping group ! Thanks Michaela.

Michaela was very friendly and welcoming. Seehorse Meadows was gorgeous. Flat, green grassy campsites strewn throughout bush. Private and quiet. The little dam provided some fun for the kids for a swim and play with their boogie boards. A few visitors put their kayaks on the water too. The flat grass provided a great space for soccer, hockey, football and cricket. Would be a great place for a bike ride too!
For self sufficient campers only. And dogs are welcome!

My Wife and I loved it here. The Owner of the property made us feel very welcome as we came through the gate, She helped us pick a nice shady spot as we camped during the Australia day "Heat wave" . Her dogs and horses and pony are great company.. Nice and quiet place to relax and be connected with nature.
