Peaceful retreat on quiet road in rural setting 5 minute drive to Lake Cootharaba/ Boreen Point. Noosa Heads is approximately 25 minutes and 20 minutes to Pomona. Convenient stopover between Byron bay and Airlie beach.
Tent site on grassed area and RV/campervan site with power and water available on edge of forest adjacent to shed. Under cover parking for campervan is an option alongside the living area and amenities.
Facilities include equipped kitchen with large fridge/freezer, gas stove/oven, benchtop convection oven, kettle, toaster and all utensils. Bathroom with hot shower and a bathtub for parents with children. As we are on tank rainwater, we request that guests conserve water usage. Compost toilet and a laundry area with washing machine and tumble dryer for your convenience.
Wildlife is abundant so no pets are permitted on the property.
Fires are permitted in the designated Firepit provided. This has been a highlight for guests so far. We provide free firewood and ask that you use only what you need.
Guests are asked to respect the quiet environment. We’d appreciate no loud music or voices from 10pm to 7am. There is a neighbouring property behind the shed and our bedroom is within range!
When you book you are booking the entire camp facility, however the shed is used for machinery storage and the workshop for maintenance of equipment and tools so the owners will periodically be around the area.
It is yours to enjoy, relax, unwind, or catch up on some rest.
Please advise ETA so we can greet you on arrival and show you to your campsite. It's best to arrive before sunset to select your camp spot and set up and to enjoy the sunset views!
Private land with resident owners in main house situated approximately 100m from camp site. Owners maintain permaculture gardens for self sufficiency in fruit and vegetables.
Mobile phone reception is patchy but internet via WiFi is available.
