Jacks shack is a wonderful camping spot on Kaylea and Deans farm. The shack is a great place to hang out with beautiful views of the horses and the hill side. Toilets were nice and clean. Creek and kayaks really nice. Great for a swim too! Great having town water so close too. Other campers very respectful and quiet. Would definitely recommend!

We had a wonderful stay at Joel's. We stayed for two days and would have loved to stay longer. Magical nature, a beautiful kitchen, and great showers. Highly recommended for family trips and groups of friends. Joel is a very good host and has a very nice family.

We stayed at the Mountain View site at Yabba Creek Farm and had the most amazing time. The site is spacious, has a purpose built shelter, and is beautifully green, with stunning views all around. The shelter that’s been built is fantastic — open and airy, allowing the breeze through while still providing great cover. Having a hooked-up shower was an added bonus, and being so close to the river made the experience even more special. Kaylea and Dean are wonderful hosts. They have created a peaceful, well thought out, and truly wonderful place to relax and reconnect with nature. We can’t wait to come back — highly, highly recommend!

We were on Grey Gums site. Lovely campsite - plan to stay again! Huge space allocated - could fit multiple families. Each site has a fire pit. Creek was clean and lovely to swim in morning and afternoon. Loved seeing the horses galloping in the paddock just 30m away. Kids loved the animal petting - chickens, Guinea pig, blue tongue lizard, turkey, pony ride! Felt very private and relaxing with so much space around us.

We stayed at the Mountain View site, a lovely site at Yabba Creek Farm. Great views over the trees and river to the mountain on the other side, with a shelter, fire pit, sink and shower. We enjoyed a peaceful weekend, with easy access to have a look around Imbil. Kayla & Dean were great hosts.

1 night at Yabba Creek Farm

Beautiful, large well kept sites with lawn. The Silky Oak site was shady during the day and conveniently close to both toilets and the rustic outdoor shower. We appreciate the 'maximum people per site' rule because it cant get too busy. Also loved the 'no loud music' rule! Hosts met us on arrival and were helpful and friendly, providing information regarding the camp grounds and the surrounding area etc. The access to the water from our site was a very short, easy walk. The water was amazing in that it was clean and gradually got deeper - suitable for both children and adults. We will definitely be back!

We had a great stay and Kaylea and Dean made everything so easy for us. Great communication and so helpful. The kayaks were awesome and we spent hours in the water. Having soap and water outside the portaloos! Brilliant.

We had a great camp setup at Pilgrims Rest! They aren’t kidding when they say 4x4 only. It was our first experience towing our van in these conditions: steep, rocky and creek crossings. (We nailed it). Got in and out of camp no issues even though it was a little tight. Excellent creek for the kids to explore right in eye sight of camp. A few cars came by but nothing that was disturbing. Had some visitors (cows and horses). Quiet and remote. No phone service. Star-link worked until the weather kicked off. We had a deluge in the afternoon and overnight. Anita came down in the morning to check the creek crossings on our departure day. Advised us to head off as soon as possible due to the possibility of being flooded in. Great hosts. Good communication and excellent directions given. If we are in the area again we would visit again.

10 out of 10 for me! We camped at pilgrims rest and were the only people there. Right beside the freshwater Creek. Not much water in the creek ATM but holes deep enough to dip in. Could hear the water running constantly. It was exactly what I wanted. Cows and horses grazing on the property

We loved camping at Yabba Creek Farm. Kaylea and Dean were great hosts and kept the farm was very well maintained. It was peaceful, plenty of space. Grab a kayak so you can see a platypus like we did. The wife loved the petting zoo, especially the turkey. Our doggie also had the best time. Highly recommended Yabba Creek Farm to anyone and we’ll definitely be returning. Thanks for a great stay.

Was great camping experience 2 nights the host went over and beyond getting things ready the place was amazing great view just relaxing and enjoying the nature. Lovely place to swim in the river . Get to experience farm animals petting them the host was just so lovely good people, can’t wait to book our next trip . The best thing bout the camp site is only few minutes in to town if you’re running low on supplies how good is that.
