Big Baldy Mountain is a 40 acre hobby cattle farm with spectacular views overlooking the Mary Valley. The campground area is spread out, so you won't be surround by a crowd of people. Once parked and settled in you can go on a small hike up to the top of Big Baldy and enjoy the breathtaking view. There are no amenities here, so campers will need to be self-contained and leave no trace. Campers are welcome to have campfires. There is firewood available for $20 a day.Big Baldy Mountain is a 40 acre hobby cattle farm with spectacular views overlooking the Mary Valley. Once parked and settled in you can go on a small hike up to the top of Big Baldy and enjoy the breathtaking view. If you're a keen and experienced 4x4 enthusiast, you can drive up to the top of big baldy mountain and camp if desired. Located in the middle of the Mary Valley, you’re not far from what the region has to offer. Just a 20 minute drive into Gympie, you can catch the Mary Valley Rattler all the way through from Gympie to Amamoor. Go for a walk to the Amamoor Cascade. Get a bite to eat at the Kandanga pub which is a short 10 minute drive away. We have fire pits and fire wood available for you to use. Firewood is $20 for the day. Our black Kelpie X, Shadow, will most likely come and say hello, as she loves everyone! You may also get a visit from the neighbours dogs, Charlie & Lola. We hope you enjoy your stay!

Wow! We loved this place. The views of the Mary Valley are spectacular! Such beautiful sunrises, especially from the top of the hill. The host dogs were so friendly and we enjoyed their company. Perfect base to explore the Mary Valley and so peaceful

Absolutely beautiful place. The views are amazing. The cows wander through camp. The dogs come and visit. Only 4 campsites. Very quiet. Will definitely be back.

It was epic ! The view from the top is breath taking , probably one of the most beautiful sunrises I’ve seen in my hole life , the night was full of shooting stars … magical place ! You will need a 4x4 to get to the top of the mountain but if you don’t have one you still can camp at the bottom witch still very nice Thanks Nathan for sharing a bit of your land Was a great experience

What a spot so peace and quiet at night you can hear an old train horn giving the place some character and atmosphere. The bird noises in the morning of course were magical as well as the views. Nathan was a great $20 fire wood at the gate you can pay ID so even if you forget cash you’re all sweet we’ll definitely be coming back!

A chilled stay at Camp Pine! Loved the roaming cattle & visits from clever girl Shadow. Sublime sunsets & sunrises, unlimited (cheap!) firewood & an easy check-in from Nathan. Thank you!! Friendly fellow campers who spaced themselves out. Remember to pack an outdoor mat (rich red dirt). Can highly recommend the Dagun Grower’s Market on a Sat afternoon for your campfire feast. Very happy campers here, thank you Nathan 🔥🪵🐾

My partner and I absolutely loved camping at Camp Pine Big Baldy Mountain. It was our first ever Hipcamp and we had such an amazing time with breathtaking views, nice clear skies and ultimate privacy. We drove to the very top to camp on the mountainside and woke up to the most stunning sunset. There were also COWS!

We recently stayed at this beautiful campground and absolutely loved it. It’s a peaceful, quiet spot—perfect if you’re looking to completely unplug and unwind. Surrounded by nature and away from the hustle, it was the ideal place to relax without interruptions.

We absolutely loved camping here! What an absolute stunning spot with unbelievable views. We camped with our dogs and had some beautiful visitors from the friendly neighbouring dogs. Would camp here again!

this was the most perfect wholesome country campsite! With friendly farm doggos "shadow" and some other local dogs paying us a visit! Not to mention the cute cows! The host was beyond helpful and great firewood at a cheap cost to keep us toasty in the winter!

Camp pine was so beautiful! We got the privilege of camping at the top of the mountain the views were stunning we even had a few cow visitors in the morning that we loved. Super easy drive coming from Brisbane and not too far from town if you want a pub feed. Nathan was super lovely so was his pup shadow. Definitely recommend :)

We camped up the top of the property and the views were amazing and the sunrises were absolute perfection. It was very peaceful and a great retreat from the coast. Nathan was very accomodating and had great communication which made it stress free weekend away to organise.

Great spot amongst the friendly cows, started a walk to the top of bald mountain, with our 3 dogs, ending up with 6 dogs at the top. Nathan is a top bloke, and the views are to die for.

Such a lovely stay, especially for a quick night being so close to Gympie! Spacious sites, fire pits & stunning views. We loved that the hosts are friendly but not constantly popping their head in. The dogs were probably the peak of the stay though, we will definitely be back to see Miss Lola!

Gorgeous views! Friendly cows, friendly farm dogs, easy to get to. Enough space between sites for privacy. Make sure you've got some ground tarps for the red dirt. Lovely quiet spot. The farm dogs were respectful and friendly to our shy smaller dog.

We loved our time camping in our campervan at Big Baldy Mountain! The scenery was stunning and it was so peaceful. The cows were adorable too and came over to say hello!

It's a great spot with excellent views. You can camp at the lower level or slightly higher up with better views again. It's also very close to Amamoor and Kandanga store and pub.
