We have 100 acres of paradise with many sites to choose from, either along our 300m of Burnett river frontage or along the winding Duingal creek tucked into seclusion. For the bigger vans we have sites up on top of the property overlooking the Burnett with just a short walk down to the water. There are NO Ammenities available so own toilet is a MUST! Bring your fishing rods, kayaks and walking shoes. There's some great fishing here including barramundi, perch, yellow belly mullet, gar - and plenty of catfish to keep the kids entertained! Don’t have a kayak, no worries. We also have kayaks available for hire. We also have the most magnificent sunrises and sunsets here, with beautiful birdlife including hawks and water eagles. Great for bird watching and photography! All campsites have access to the water unless we are advised per booking. Less than 5km down the road you will find Wallaville where there is a great local Wallaville pub, and a corner store that offers great pizza. Telstra is available for communication, and we are also only 18km from Gin Gin and around 50km from Bundaberg. Campfires permitted in the designated areas only, bring your own fire pit when possible as we have a limited number of fire pits available. when fire restrictions/bans are not in place. Plenty of fallen timber around the place to collect for firewood. I suggest U bring wood for the ist night, In case it has rained & saves the hassle first up allowing U to chill out sooner 🥂 Well behaved pets welcome, but they must be kept under control and you must pick up after them. Pets welcome for a small fee. You will be sharing the paddock with three beautiful friendly horses, roaming at their own pace. In the paddock there is also a little renovated shed turned into a cute outhouse called the Heart Shed. Which is just being finished, soon to be able to be booked. The farm is within a 7 min drive of two IGAs. Plus very close to all the wineries (10 km approx) and it’s delicious food! It’s also the same distance to nearby Bjelke Peterson Dam for water skiing and water sports. Wondai has some gorgeous shops including a wellness shop with a magnesium float tank, antique shops, and the likes. There is a dairy museum in Murgon. A dinosaur and fossil museum called 55 Million Year Old Museum in Murgon too. Also a visit to the Ration Shed Museum in the Indigenous and alcohol free community of Cherbourg is very educational and really worth a visit and only 10 mins away. It has beautiful indigenous pottery and art too. Boat Mountain is nearby and has spectacular views and is a beautiful walk with lots of Koalas. The area I believe, is a hidden secret and has a sacred feel. Come and experience it for yourself.

Bottle Tree Farm is 10 acres situated on top of a slightly sloping hill which overlooks the surrounding hills, farming crops and Boat Mountain. We have a very old big bottle tree in the middle of our farm, which is one of the biggest in QLD. The sunsets are absolutely amazing here, so golden. The rural roads are lovely for an early or late evening walk on. We rent out a fully contained studio as well which is seperate and inside the farm fencing only for booked guests. Pets welcome for a small fee. You will be sharing the paddock with three beautiful friendly horses, roaming at their own pace. In the paddock there is also a little renovated shed turned into a cute outhouse called the Heart Shed. Which is just being finished, soon to be able to be booked. The farm is within a 7 min drive of two IGAs. Plus very close to all the wineries (10 km approx) and it’s delicious food! It’s also the same distance to nearby Bjelke Peterson Dam for water skiing and water sports. Wondai has some gorgeous shops including a wellness shop with a magnesium float tank, antique shops, and the likes. There is a dairy museum in Murgon. A dinosaur and fossil museum called 55 Million Year Old Museum in Murgon too. Also a visit to the Ration Shed Museum in the Indigenous and alcohol free community of Cherbourg is very educational and really worth a visit and only 10 mins away. It has beautiful indigenous pottery and art too. Boat Mountain is nearby and has spectacular views and is a beautiful walk with lots of Koalas. The area I believe, is a hidden secret and has a sacred feel. Come and experience it for yourself.

What a brilliant spot. We loved it. Noel and Cathi have thought of everything from the secluded creek spot fully fenced for our dogs to run around and play to the amazing dog park just over the creek. The facilities were super clean and easily accessible with a short walk from our campsite. Amazing super friendly hosts. Would definitely recommend and definitely want to go back.

I had a fabulous stay next to the billabong and creek with abundant birds and wildlife in a secluded, grassy location next to the water so my self and my dog could cool off in the heat. Tracey was an extremely friendly and helpful host who made me feel very welcome. I saw a huge lungfish, goannas and other lizards, snakes on the other side of the creek, Rakali (native water rats), a huge list of birds, including a pair of resident azure kingfishers and red backed fairy wrens. I am really looking forward to my next visit!

Follow the directions written out not google maps. Great place beautiful scenery and some pretty good facilities, 4 or so cold showers and some drop holes nice undercover area and Wayne was great. Pretty much plug in the utopia falls rock pools from the Maryborough side and follow that in the dirt road past the brick utopia hut and a place called reeds residents, follow that road down a fair way till just past a creek crossing (was dry when I went)

Weekend Trip to Big Rocks Bush Retreat

We enjoyed the friendly atmosphere initiated by John. Lot's of room for us in the Main Camp. My 7.7m long Mitsubishi Rosa (bus to motorhome conversion) handled the interesting track in from the main road without any issues at all. I quite like this park and look forward to future camps there.
