Dairy@Goomeri is a 20acre property located on the outskirts of Goomeri with direct access to the rail trail. The property used to be a working dairy farm and the original dairy still stand atop the hill There are 3 designated camp areas - Creek Camp, Paddock Camp and Town Camp. The famous Goomeri Bakery, Grand Hotel and IGA supermarket is a short 5-10 minute walk away. If you are in the region for wine there is a great selection of wineries approx 20 minute drive away, Dusty Hill, Clovely Estate, Prendergast's Irish Tavern and many more! We have a small creek that runs beside the property if you want to cool off however Lake Barambah and Kinbombi Falls are close by swimming areas. Pets are welcome on a lead. Fire permitted - BYO fireplace and wood (In accordance with local law). Fully self contained camping and 4x4 vehicles recommended. What you bring in please take out. Group bookings welcome on request.

Creek Camp
Being able to camp right beside the creek was so lovely. The creek was flowing fast and having the sound of running water was very relaxing. Near by was a fire pit, a beautiful rustic seating ring and plenty of wood for a fire. A short walk into town if you wish to leave your van hitched and such peaceful surroundings.

Creek Camp
Nowhere to relax! It was hot when we arrived and there is nowhere shaded but the creek. The creek was full of mozzies which wasn't an issue so much as we and our dog couldn't really explore barefoot in the creek because there was loads of barbed wire to tread on!! Get your tetnus shot before going here!! Above the creek there were so many meat ants we couldn't even sit in chairs, and our dog was getting smashed with them and she escaped only by sitting in our van! So we left to find somewhere in town to chill but getting out the hill was almost too steep for our van to get out so we decided to not stay as we needed a quick getaway in the morning and with it forecast to rain knew that might not happen.

Creek Camp
Kerryn very welcoming and helpful. Easy walk into town via the old rail trail, brilliant bakery in town and well worth discovering. We didn't stay down by the creek, access road a little too wet for us, a large storm the previous night was the cause. Thank you though Kerryn & Barry.
