A huge 350 acres to explore where you will find waterways, billabongs, hills, dams, mango trees and more.
Walk through the seasonal creek, easily accessed at the Mango Grove, and see a lot of Quartz and other rocks.
While exploring you could find Kangaroos, Echidnas, Goannas and many bird and plant species.
Did we mention Gin Gin is only about 15 minutes away? So there's no need to worry if you need more Ice or Food! And if your interested in a day getting wet, Paradise Dam is only 40 minutes away.
The area does have some places that we do not allow visitors due to needing clearing and cleaning. Please be mindful to stay away from the areas with 'junk'. We are trying to clear the place to turn it into somewhere magical and we appreciate your understanding until this occurs.
It is a beautiful place and the price is currently low due to all of the ongoing work we are doing at the location.

Bottle Tree Farm is 10 acres situated on top of a slightly sloping hill which overlooks the surrounding hills, farming crops and Boat Mountain. We have a very old big bottle tree in the middle of our farm, which is one of the biggest in QLD. The sunsets are absolutely amazing here, so golden. The rural roads are lovely for an early or late evening walk on. We rent out a fully contained studio as well which is seperate and inside the farm fencing only for booked guests. Pets welcome for a small fee.
You will be sharing the paddock with three beautiful friendly horses, roaming at their own pace. In the paddock there is also a little renovated shed turned into a cute outhouse called the Heart Shed. Which is just being finished, soon to be able to be booked.
The farm is within a 7 min drive of two IGAs. Plus very close to all the wineries (10 km approx) and it’s delicious food! It’s also the same distance to nearby Bjelke Peterson Dam for water skiing and water sports. Wondai has some gorgeous shops including a wellness shop with a magnesium float tank, antique shops, and the likes. There is a dairy museum in Murgon. A dinosaur and fossil museum called 55 Million Year Old Museum in Murgon too. Also a visit to the Ration Shed Museum in the Indigenous and alcohol free community of Cherbourg is very educational and really worth a visit and only 10 mins away. It has beautiful indigenous pottery and art too. Boat Mountain is nearby and has spectacular views and is a beautiful walk with lots of Koalas.
The area I believe, is a hidden secret and has a sacred feel. Come and experience it for yourself.

I stayed in the couples cabin which is an absolute steal of price. You can sleep with the doors open (mosquite net over bed) and are greeted with a menagerie of farm animals in the morning. Stunning grounds to explore and the host really goes the extra mile! I was pained to leave.

Karen was an absolutely wonderful host. She was super accomodating and made sure we were happy and comfortable. Such a gorgeous property, the little unit they’ve built in the shed is amazing and super cozy, it has everything you need for an overnight stay. You won’t regret your decision whatsoever!

Stayed in the couple’s cabin. Absolutely beautiful. Comfy bed. Came with everything you need for cooking on the bbq, cutlery plates even bug spray and chairs. Super impressed. The shower facilities are amazing. The property is stunning. And Colin is so welcoming. Will definitely be back.

Weekend Trip to Fig Tree Camp
We recently had the pleasure of staying at this wonderful campsite, and it was an unforgettable experience. The cabin was cozy and well-maintained, offering a perfect blend of comfort and rustic charm. The view from the cabin was simply breathtaking, providing a serene backdrop for a truly relaxing stay.
The host Colin and Katrina were amazing, going above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed. Their hospitality made us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. One of the highlights of our stay was the variety of animals on the property. We enjoyed interacting with their horse, geese, chickens, goats and even cute piglets and of course their playful dog! It was a delightful experience. Being off grid, the campsite offered a unique opportunity to disconnect from the hustle and bustle of everyday life and reconnect with nature. The facilities were with a short walk from the cabin, clean toilets and showers that added to the overall comfort of our stay. Overall, this campsite provided a perfect escape, combining natural beauty, excellent amenities, and outstanding hospitality. Highly recommended for anyone looking to unwind and enjoy a peaceful retreat.
P.S. if you are into fossicking, you can enjoy the gold mines.
