We are a lifestyle block with farm animals. Located beside the Barambah Creek We have a swimming hole that is ideal for all the family complete with flying fox. Fishing at Boondoomba Dam or Lake Barambah . Also close by is our local Silverleaf weir. An hour away from Boat Mountain, 1.5 hours away from Bunya Mountain or 2 hours to the coasts, we are located pretty central to any outdoor adventure you are looking for. You will be approximately 400meters from the house ensuring total privacy. Swimming hole or creek is within walking distance to the campsites where you can enjoy throwing a fishing line in. World of nature surrounding you with birds and wildlife. We are also located close to wineries if you fancy some drinks or to visit cellar doors. Lake Barambah isn't far for fishing as well as boating. Guests must be fully self contained with their own toilet/shower facilities and must take all waste with them on departure. Campfires are welcome in the fire pit provided. Pets are allowed on leash.

We had a lovely flat site right on the banks of the river. Monique welcomed us & checked in during our stay. A perfect spot.

We had the place to ourselves. Great site by the creek and a lovely swimming hole. Also free firewood to collect from around the site. Monique and her husband were very welcoming and accommodating hosts. Highly recommend. We will be back

Shaded Creek Peace Haven
We had our best tent camping trip yet over Easter weekend. This spot is perfect. Flat grassy land, huge creek, shade, amazing sunsets and only 10 mins to a big IGA in Murgon. It’s very quiet and peaceful - no road noise or other noise. And big gum trees that make you think of old folk songs. Classic Australian camping. Rob provided plenty of firewood and a nice little old bbq which was really handy. The kids (7 & 10) adored the flying fox into the creek - it’s the perfect size into a deep swimming hole. They would be on it all day long if they could. Monique and Rob even took the kids for a short ride on one of the miniature horses. Which was such a treat! I would stay again. Well worth the drive out from Noosa.

We arrived after some heavy rain and so were not able to access the site. The owners were out of state so could not let us know prior to our arrival. Monique was nice to deal with and has offered a free stay in the future in lieu of a refund.

Felt welcomed by our hosts. Lovely and peaceful, gorgeous sunrises and sunsets. Another camper at the next site but hardly noticed they were there. Nice to hear (and see) the ponies, horses and cattle. Would definitely consider camping here again. 🙂
