We set up camp in a shady, flat area next to and well above the flowing creek. It was a beautiful spot and the bird life spectacular! It was a short walk to the swimming hole and flying fox. This & the kayaks were great fun. The swimming hole was in a shady grove that provided a cool and relaxing spot to watch & relax!
There were three beautiful horses roaming free that were gentle & friendly too!
We can't wait to come back!!

What an understated place to stay! So much so, we extended our stay for as long as we could. Peace Haven lives up to its name from the moment you arrive to the moment you leave. Rob and Monique are lovely people who are very accommodating. We loved our spot camping next to the creek. Our son enjoyed kayaking, fishing (even catching a fish), jumping into the water from the flying fox, feeding the horses, collecting firewood and generally just connecting with nature. Thanks Rob and Monique for having us.

We loved camping at Peace Haven. Rob and Monique are really lovely people. We camped by the creek, our son enjoyed fishing and even caught a bass, did some kayaking and had fun on the flying fox. It was lovely watching the amazing sunset in front of the camp fire each night. A truly understated place to stay. Thanks Rob and Monique for having us.

We had a lovely flat site right on the banks of the river. Monique welcomed us & checked in during our stay. A perfect spot.

We had the place to ourselves. Great site by the creek and a lovely swimming hole. Also free firewood to collect from around the site.
Monique and her husband were very welcoming and accommodating hosts.
Highly recommend. We will be back

We had our best tent camping trip yet over Easter weekend. This spot is perfect. Flat grassy land, huge creek, shade, amazing sunsets and only 10 mins to a big IGA in Murgon. It’s very quiet and peaceful - no road noise or other noise. And big gum trees that make you think of old folk songs. Classic Australian camping.
Rob provided plenty of firewood and a nice little old bbq which was really handy.
The kids (7 & 10) adored the flying fox into the creek - it’s the perfect size into a deep swimming hole. They would be on it all day long if they could. Monique and Rob even took the kids for a short ride on one of the miniature horses. Which was such a treat!
I would stay again. Well worth the drive out from Noosa.

We arrived after some heavy rain and so were not able to access the site. The owners were out of state so could not let us know prior to our arrival. Monique was nice to deal with and has offered a free stay in the future in lieu of a refund.

Felt welcomed by our hosts. Lovely and peaceful, gorgeous sunrises and sunsets. Another camper at the next site but hardly noticed they were there. Nice to hear (and see) the ponies, horses and cattle. Would definitely consider camping here again. 🙂

Great quiet location next to a creek, under large shady trees. Our hosts were fantastic and very helpful. Would highly recommend this amazing camping area to anyone and will be back again. Worth the drive for the peace and quiet.

Fabulous spot. Private and peaceful. I booked for 1 night and ended up staying for 2! Creek was shaded in a grotto of trees and was delightful for a swim. The hosts were lovely, friendly and helpful. I enjoyed the interaction with the super curious horses at my campsite. Even Molly the house cow came to say hello (who wears a collar) and loves a head scratch lol however, if you're not 100% comfortable with them in your campsite the hosts can put them in another paddock close by where you can give them pats and feed them carrots from behind a fence.

Absolutely loved our stay at Monique’s land. The owners are very welcoming and lovely. They showed us their horses and beautiful dogs, told us some of the sights near by to explore, went out of their way to give our kids the best experience possible by allowing them to pat and walk their puppies and even feed and lead one of their horses. We saw their cows daily and loved swimming in their creeks. Got to enjoy beautiful sunsets every night and was really peaceful. Great camping experience. Will absolutely recommend and do it again. Thank you Monique and Rob for our awesome stay.

In short – lovely hosts and excellent dark skies for astrophotography and adoring the stars!
My goal for visiting this site was for astrophotography for a couple of nights. The first night was compromised by cloud cover that spanned the entire region. I was despondent. Nowhere within a 300km radius from the Sunny Coast could escape the cloud at the time.
The next day however, I was greeted by some awesomely friendly gee gee equine folk that really made my day! That was some very cool amusement. Nice gentle, inquisitive animals that provided some excellent company.
The next night was absolutely stunning!!!! I had my gear already polar aligned from the night before and scored some amazing skies – probably some of the darkest skies I have had for quite some time. Very cool that I could point dead north using a 50mm lens on a 6D camera against a straight flat horizon with solid 2 min exposures (not an easy task!) along with my main camera (135mm modded Canon R5) targeting Orion. No disruption – perfect!!!
The owners are very kind and accommodating people and I thank them very much for having me. I would love to stay again!
