Great spot out of the way, very nice down by the water with complete privacy,
We camped at the start of the track that goes down to the water as the track had been flood damaged and was still getting fixed the day that we got there but we found a nice spot anyway and it wasn’t far to walk to the river.
Jess is a great host who couldn’t have been nicer.

Sunset Riverview
Great camp on the river bank with beautiful surroundings. A short walk to the two beach fronts for swimming or paddle boarding all to ourselves. Would recommend a semi off road caravan as a minimum to get onto the river bank for the best experience.
Beautiful property, very secluded, complete privacy, very responsive and friendly host. Easy access to the camp spot we chose, we have a large, on road caravan and unfortunately the other camp spots were mostly inaccessible due to the flood damage to the roads, but the host took me by car to view the spots and they were beautiful. Would highly recommend for those with swags or tents, rooftops campers or even a small off-road van may be able to access them. Very close to town, close to the lookout point. Overall a great place to stay if you want to enjoy bush scenery, small country town charm, peace and quiet and somewhere you can watch the sunset over the hills.
This gorgeous Camping ground is located in Ideraway, roughly 15 minutes out of Gayndah. The owners is absoluety lovely and drove us right down the the camping area. Experience 4x4 for sand driving and to camp on beach. However it is a short 5 minute stroll down to beach from grass camping and the nice cold water is beautiful clear. Lots of wildlife & the sound of the river is so soothing. Light 4x4 into the property.
Beautiful grounds! We had the perfect spot, right on the water. Beautiful sunsets and lots of river wildlife. Will 100% be coming back!
We had a great time there. Campsite was very private with heaps of wildlife around. River is teaming with many different species of fish. Waterfalls each end were great.

Sunset Riverview
Absolutely magic spot on a beautiful part of the Burnett River. Amazing sunrise in one direction and spectacular sunset in the other. This section of river is so perfect for kayaking. The river is teaming with lung fish, birdlife, fish and we even saw platypus right at our campsite. The waterfalls downstream were a lovely surprise. Our campsite was absolute river front and bliss. We awoke to birdsong in the mornings and the nights were peaceful. 10/10
A nice quiet spot for a fire and sunset, Jessica was great getting us organised as we booked last minute.
Jess was very friendly. Great spot on the Burnett.
