We have 178 acres of beautiful land hidden in the hills of Tarome in the Scenic Rim community. An amazing view of the national park and Cunninghams Gap. There is a hidden creek at the back of the property that never runs dry, running from Gap Creek Falls at the top of Cunninghams Gap. The location is perfect for a quick getaway or long stay, complete privacy and little reception depending on your phone service, ensuring a peaceful camping stay. There is lots of activities within a short drive from the property including fishing at Lake Moogerah, hiking the mountain tops or having brunch at the amazing local cafe's in the area. Our campsites are hidden in the hills, down by the creek or out in the open. You will need a 4 WD to access the rear of the property. There is a steep incline at the beginning of the track followed by a tight corner because of this caravans must be off road and under 17 ft. Make sure your car has the power and weight to get it up the hill. There are 3 x 2WD camping options for caravans over 17ft or those not off road. Depending on the type of vehicle and van will dictate your camping locations. Maximum caravan access for the rear of the property is 17ft off road van. This is due to the hill climb and a tight corner at the top. Please be aware of the weight you are towing and your car is capable of pulling it up the hill. Dogs are welcome but must stay within the camp, be under control or on a leash. If you have friends who you want to invite but don't have camping gear that's okay, we have the option to hire a camper trailer. All they need to bring is food and drinks. Only 1 available, please see Extras. We welcome self-contained campers who bring their own camping toilet/shower, and drinking water. All human, food and general waste is to be removed upon leaving the campsite. We have fireplaces set up but if you prefer a different site for your fire please bring your own fire pit. Good Firewood for camp ovens etc is available for purchase under Extras. Pre order your wood. For this one off price we will supply you for wood for your whole stay. Come and relax at our flat, peaceful 5 acre hobby farm. Most animals wander around example the sheep, ducks and chooks, pig. So tough plastic boxes are great to hide your food items. We have a mini pig (Splat) that has her own paddock but she likes to socialise. I'm waiting for fencer to get her back in her paddock again. She loves affection.. 😆 She is super gentle and loves belly rubs and pats. sometimes the horses are at nearby agistment so, ask if the horses cam be here for your visit. Baby animals are seasonal, ducklings and baby chicks in summer and lambs after winter roughly. There are a couple of small playgrounds, clean double flushing toilets, picnic tables, gas bbq and chairs for your convenience and a nice above ground pool to stay cool in. We have firewood for sale, and I make a great expresso coffee if your a coffee lover, like myself. Bring some cash for firewood, coffee and other bits and pieces. There's a kids surprise cupboard, with toys to borrow, for sale or Make a donation and buy it... The $45 camp fee pays for 2 adults and 1 child. Just message me about extra guests as hipcamp adding extras doesn't work properly. You can pay by cash or transfer on arrival if necessary. Extra adults campers I will discount to $15 instead of $20 adults and $5 for kids. We also offer day visits for $5 per person. Plenty of room for caravans, buses and horse floats. I have a round yard and horse yards and horses are $10 per horse/night to cover water costs. BYO hay. Wivenhoe Dam, Atkinson Dam and the Brisbane river are all closeby. The famous rail trail that a lot of horse riders and cyclists enjoy is just a klm down the road. (keep an eye out for koalas) Hope to see you soon at the farm. If you do an instant booking and I don't see it or reply, don't stress, as your welcome to drive on in and straight up the laneway to the back paddock area. I'm sure you will see other campers too and set up where ever you like. Just close gates again and I will meet you later if we are out. Campers may occasionally be visited by a herd of friendly goats that like soft drink and chips. We often have baby goats and alpacas that are being hand reared which are popular with kids and adults alike. Dogs are permitted but have to be quiet and restrained. We’re 5 mins outside of the town of Killarney, with sealed roads (and no river crossings) right to our front gate. Queen Mary Falls is a 10 min drive and if you turn right out of our driveway, you can head 2km down the road to start the Condamine River Crossings. We have both cattle 🐮and chickens 🐔on our property, including a rooster, who does get up early sometimes 😅 and a small vineyard 🍇. The creek that runs along our boundary is home to platypus and rainbow trout and we have seen a number of echidnas around the farm, particularly in the more timbered areas. We have 178 acres of beautiful land hidden in the hills of Tarome in the Scenic Rim community. An amazing view of the national park and Cunninghams Gap. There is a hidden creek at the back of the property that never runs dry, running from Gap Creek Falls at the top of Cunninghams Gap. The location is perfect for a quick getaway or long stay, complete privacy and little reception depending on your phone service, ensuring a peaceful camping stay. There is lots of activities within a short drive from the property including fishing at Lake Moogerah, hiking the mountain tops or having brunch at the amazing local cafe's in the area. Our campsites are hidden in the hills, down by the creek or out in the open. You will need a 4 WD to access the rear of the property. There is a steep incline at the beginning of the track followed by a tight corner because of this caravans must be off road and under 17 ft. Make sure your car has the power and weight to get it up the hill. There are 3 x 2WD camping options for caravans over 17ft or those not off road. Depending on the type of vehicle and van will dictate your camping locations. Maximum caravan access for the rear of the property is 17ft off road van. This is due to the hill climb and a tight corner at the top. Please be aware of the weight you are towing and your car is capable of pulling it up the hill. Dogs are welcome but must stay within the camp, be under control or on a leash. If you have friends who you want to invite but don't have camping gear that's okay, we have the option to hire a camper trailer. All they need to bring is food and drinks. Only 1 available, please see Extras. We welcome self-contained campers who bring their own camping toilet/shower, and drinking water. All human, food and general waste is to be removed upon leaving the campsite. We have fireplaces set up but if you prefer a different site for your fire please bring your own fire pit. We have a mini pig (Splat) that has her own paddock but she likes to socialise. I'm waiting for fencer to get her back in her paddock again. She loves affection.. 😆 She is super gentle and loves belly rubs and pats. sometimes the horses are at nearby agistment so, ask if the horses cam be here for your visit. Baby animals are seasonal, ducklings and baby chicks in summer and lambs after winter roughly. There are a couple of small playgrounds, clean double flushing toilets, picnic tables, gas bbq and chairs for your convenience and a nice above ground pool to stay cool in. We have firewood for sale, and I make a great expresso coffee if your a coffee lover, like myself. Bring some cash for firewood, coffee and other bits and pieces. There's a kids surprise cupboard, with toys to borrow, for sale or Make a donation and buy it... The $45 camp fee pays for 2 adults and 1 child. Just message me about extra guests as hipcamp adding extras doesn't work properly. You can pay by cash or transfer on arrival if necessary. Extra adults campers I will discount to $15 instead of $20 adults and $5 for kids. We also offer day visits for $5 per person. Plenty of room for caravans, buses and horse floats. I have a round yard and horse yards and horses are $10 per horse/night to cover water costs. BYO hay. Wivenhoe Dam, Atkinson Dam and the Brisbane river are all closeby. The famous rail trail that a lot of horse riders and cyclists enjoy is just a klm down the road. (keep an eye out for koalas) Hope to see you soon at the farm. If you do an instant booking and I don't see it or reply, don't stress, as your welcome to drive on in and straight up the laneway to the back paddock area. A Great place to have your own private and secluded campsite, away from the holiday crowds. A bird watchers paradise. From Wedtailed Eagles to Fairy Wrens. Check out our photography extra. 160 acres of working goat and alpaca farm on the highlands of the Darling Downs, only 8 km from the New England Highway. All sites are private and secluded with great views, great sunsets, and starry night skies. There is an abundance of birds and wildlife including Red Necked Wallabies, Possums, Rufus Batongs, Bandicoots and Echidnas. There are seasonal creeks and waterfalls and wildflowers. Campers may occasionally be visited by a herd of friendly goats that like soft drink and chips. We often have baby goats and alpacas that are being hand reared which are popular with kids and adults alike. Dogs are permitted but have to be quiet and restrained. Campfires permitted at our discretion (please ask first - depending on weather conditions). You'll need to BYO wood. Campers MUST have their own toilet. The standard "Pack it in. Pack it out" rules apply. All sites are accessible by STANDARD HEIGHT 2WD however 4WD may be required if towing. There is a 'special' site reserved for Larger RVs and Caravans. Cooby Dam is only minutes away for fishing, bird watching, Kayaking and canoeing

Our 70 acre farm is nestled at the base of the Great Dividing Range on Githabul Country. We’re 5 mins outside of the town of Killarney, with sealed roads (and no river crossings) right to our front gate. Queen Mary Falls is a 10 min drive and if you turn right out of our driveway, you can head 2km down the road to start the Condamine River Crossings. We have both cattle 🐮and chickens 🐔on our property, including a rooster, who does get up early sometimes 😅 and a small vineyard 🍇. The creek that runs along our boundary is home to platypus and rainbow trout and we have seen a number of echidnas around the farm, particularly in the more timbered areas. Spent a night here (if I had time I would’ve stayed longer). Everything from check in to set up was smooth. Bruce was great.. from helping me choose the right spot to making sure I’m set up for the night with my fire going.. felt incredibly safe here and the water in the creek was an added bonus for me and my dog. Facilities were clean and in good order and Bruce has plans to continue to upgrade. I can see why this place gets so busy on long weekends but thankful there was only a couple other campers there this weekend with enough space between us you couldn’t hear a thing.. I’ll definitely be coming back for longer than 1 night!

Beautiful well kept grounds. Beautifully crafted amenities with old tin facades. Very clean and tidy. Lovely big barn set up for weddings but could be used for any celebrations. The farm fresh eggs great extra treat very yummy. Lovely outlook at the Knob with accommodation and the shower / bath hut was very nice would enjoy an amazing bubble bath for two. Gave Nick and idea for an open outdoor shower to take advantage of the view. Great selection of farm yard animals great toy kids too. Yvette & Nick great hosts definitely recommend Belauh Park

My wife and I had a fantastic 2 night stay in our caravan at Savvy Farmstay. Ben and his family were wonderful hosts and so helpful as we were unfamiliar with the local area. Was a relaxing farm to stay at seeing lots of young piglets and lambs in their pens. Small baby chickens roaming around free. Walking the bush trails around the dam and creek were fun. Ben & his beautiful family were nothing short of the most wonderful hosts. On arrival they met us, including the dog 🤣 where we were parking our van. Explained where everything was and open for us to use the pool if we liked. Ben text me the following night asking how my husband was as he went in for surgery that day. I was so appreciative to know he cared to make contact and check in. Our van and belongings were safe and we were also told we could have a fire if we felt we wanted one. Ben also helped me to hook up the van on our day of leaving as my husband wasn’t able after surgery. I was in a spot of bother after needing a jack and a power pack, Ben and his kids come to the rescue. Could not have been more grateful for his kindness and support during our stay. A huge ‘thankyou’ to Ben’s Camp for allowing us to stay in a safe and caring place while my husband was in hospital. We will be back again Kind regards Cheryl & Clarrie Sellars

The amenities block is a perfect mix of rustic meets 5 star.with the indoor luxury bath and shower and the very rustic outdoor hot shower, the perfect spot to enjoy nature...both short and long walks on offer, each with its own rewarding views..the host was fantastic making sure your privacy is assured....loved my stay and could not recommend this any higher for people wanting privacy and seclusion....

No toilets, no showers, no potable water and no cooking facilities provided. This property runs cattle and two horses, we also seem to accommodate neighbours goats when they escape their own property. We have an abundance of birdlife, a few hares and the occasional mob of kangaroos like to thunder through the property at dawn and dusk. Free firewood can be collected around the property and firepits are available. Campfires are subject to authority fire bans. Day visitors for fossicking/prospecting must book through Hipcamp for insurance reasons. No motorbikes allowed however bicycles are allowed on the tracks. Dogs are permitted but must be on a leash at all times for their safety and the safety of the other residents on the property both human and animal. Gold prospecting/fossicking is subject to rules that will be sent once you book your fossicking experience. Please note you need to hold a current fossicking licence issued from the Department of Mines and Resources.
