The camp site is in a clearing in the Eucalyptus woodland on the most rugged part of a working cattle property. The walking tracks range from easy to challenging, with spectacular views from the higher points. An abundance of wildlife live here. Birds range from Kookaburras to Bower Birds. A large variety of raptors, including the Red Goshawk have been spotted from this property. You are sure to see wallabies and possibly hear a koala if camping in summer. 30 minutes drive from Toowoomba.Pitch your tent in a secluded clearing in Eucalypt woodland, or park your small van or camper trailer in a drive-thru site. The area is only a short drive (300m) along a rocky track up from an all weather road. ( The track becomes sticky after rain for several hours. The site becomes muddy after rain) This is civilized camping! The amenities block boasts hot and cold running water, an inside bath tub and an outdoor shower. Enjoy the mountain view from the loo. Take a short stroll or a strenuous mountain hike. If you have a pushbike, there are property tracks to explore.

Currugundi Ridge Bush Camping
Peaceful and on your own
Wonderful place to camp. Best facilities and great to have some walks to go on. It rained so we didnt get to go on the walks but will be back again to do those. Had a nice relaxing bath and watched the rain from the tub 😊. Pit fire was greatnto cook oir dinner over and a cast iron plate is provided as well as good kindling and logs plus fire lighters and gas lighter. Site was so well set out. Loved it all. Our host Catherine was lovely and communication was great.

What a great camping spot! Catherine was great with communication and the campsite was wonderful. Great bathroom, bath, shower facilities, fire pit and wood provided. Beautiful views, quiet and peaceful, yet still close to town if needed. Will come back for another relaxing weekend!

Exceptional camping
Catherine is a great host, the location is amazing. So close to civilisation but you feel so disconnected. The amenities were fantastic, would highly recommend visiting Currugundi Ridge Bush Camp.

Currugundi Ridge Bush Camping
A secluded bush retreat with an ensuite - what more could you want (a loo with a view if you so desire). We were honoured to be the first camper trailer campers. The site was spacious with room to easily manoeuvre. Although a little further away from the amenities and tent site (about 40 metres) it is a little more elevated and boasts great views. There are a couple of lookouts close by both with great views but don’t pass up the chance to do the longer Silverleaf Saddle walk as you will be rewarded for your effort by an expansive, fabulous panorama of the valleys below and beyond. Take note that if you’re coming from Brisbane you need to come up the range to Toowoomba to get to Rockmount. Catherine provided a mud map with very clear directions.
