If you love a secluded spot with plenty of shade, plenty of space, and an absolute champ of a host, then Dan's spaces are for you.
The entire stay was great, location is perfect for us, and we will be regulars!
Take a squizz at the communal camp kitchen, there is everything you could possibly want and then some.
Out GSD was super relaxed (usually she gets nervous in new areas), but she was happy to just wander in our little space and chill.
There is so much room and even being in somewhat close proximity to the road, there is no travelling noise.

Main camp with camp kitchen
Greate place. Host was super friendly and relaxed. He answered all our questions leading up to the trip well. The campgrounds were well sperated and we had plenty of space to do what we wanted.
We got lucky and no one booked the main camp spot at the same time as the 5 of us but we were told for a group of 10 or more we would of had it to ourselves anyway.

Can't tell which site is my fave!
I had to book the Main Camp bc someone had booked Shady Retreat but now I'm glad they did, the convenience of the Camp Kitchen has made it very easy to switch off when I'm not working remotely.
Lots of swim spots for the dogs in the creek that surrounds us, space to explore, lots of shade & a 100m stroll to the drop loo 👍
There are bugs & some leaks in the shelter but the Dog Trailer tucked under nicely during the storms & it keeps things cool during the day. Nice breezes.
I'm grateful for this space & for the ever-so accomoding Host :)

Absolutely stunning views! We had a wonderful time here and cant wait to come back. Any problem, Dan the man was on hand to help. Completely surrounded by nature and all its sounds.

Dan laughed at my repeated messages wanting to book "one more night", I didn't want to leave the tranquility of the property (other than to visit the local Butcher for Dog Mince). He works regularly at maintaining the grassy sites, is great with communication & happy to share his space.
We'll definitely be back in the New Year :)

Dan picked the perfect spot for my Dogs & I to spend a few days! We had the place to ourselves, so we roamed the spacious, grassy campgrounds & splashed in the creek that flows throughout the sites ✨
*No Wallabys etc thanks to sheep fencing. Just a paired off Goat & Sheep who keep to themselves.
The Shady Retreat has creek frontage & is only a 50m walk from the Dams for a proper swim! This tucked away site is surrounded & shaded by big beautiful trees with more than enough space for Zoomies & Wedding Ceremonies apparently xx

I've already started inviting friends to book with us next time!!
