Pets are welcome, we have 2 dogs Jesse and Cane, who are both very friendly. Our Maremma is an Italian breed of livestock gaurdian dog, he does bark a little at night to protect our pets, which goes hand in hand with all of our other farm noises 😉
Our Neighbours have fish farms, you may hear the odd gun go off, just to scare the shags away from feeding in the ponds. It's totally safe.
Feel free to put on some music and have a few drinks by the campfire, but we want our farm to be a place where our animals and our guests feel safe and relaxed, so we do not accommodate noisy parties.
Relax and unwind with a book or go for a bush walk and listen to the kookaburras. Watch Sea Eagles, pelican, wild budgies, rainbow lorikeet and more. All your cares will feel like they are a million miles away as you soak up nature, we guarantee you will have an amazing experience.

If you choose to bring your horse you will find stabling or yards under Extras as begin your booking. The cost can be seen as you view the sites. The stables are rubber floored, meaning you use minimal sawdust therefore minimal dust. They are equipped with automatic waterers and feed bins. The yards are separated so that the horses can't reach each other from one yard to the other. Please ensure these areas are cleaned before you leave. Bundaberg has attractions such as the Bundy Rum Distillery, Ginger Beer Factory, a free zoo, Mon Repos Turtle Centre, lower Great Barrier Reef cruises to Lady Musgrave Island for snorkelling, great beaches some with 4WD access. Gin Gin is on the main highway to head north or south. Easy access from here to National Parks for walks and 4WDing.
Being a hobby farm we have livestock in a paddock in the backyard. If you would like to join us for feeding in the afternoons please ask on arrival. There is several shopping areas including large shopping centres where you can pick up supplies etc. Wander around the weekly markets and enjoy the holiday vibe Hervey Bay brings you. Not forgetting our beautiful K'Gari/Fraser Island. When exploring the area it is a must see and do. There are daily tours to K'gari that leave from River Heads which is less than a 20 minute drive from here. Maryborough is only a 25 minute drive from here and boasts some of the most beautiful heritage buildings and museums. They hold their street markets every Thursday. Feel free to put on some music and have a few drinks by the campfire, but we want our farm to be a place where our animals and our guests feel safe and relaxed, so we do not accommodate noisy parties.

The campground is suitable for big rigs, caravans, motorhomes, tents and swags.
We neighbor the Mary2 Bay Rail Trail, which starts at the Urangan Pier and goes to Maryborough. Next door to us is the Vernon Conservation Park with 1,600 acres to explore by walking, cycling or horse riding, so bring your ebikes and ride all the way into town if you are keen.
Dogs allowed but must remain on a leash.

We are offering the top corner of our 5 acre property as a safe and quiet short stay (3 day max. unless prior arrangement) place to base yourself while you explore Hervey Bay, K'Gari/Fraser Island and surrounding areas. The whale watching season in Hervey Bay runs from July - November. Hervey Bay is a short 8 minute drive to some of the most beautiful and safe swimming beaches in Australia. There is several shopping areas including large shopping centres where you can pick up supplies etc. Wander around the weekly markets and enjoy the holiday vibe Hervey Bay brings you. Not forgetting our beautiful K'Gari/Fraser Island. When exploring the area it is a must see and do. There are daily tours to K'gari that leave from River Heads which is less than a 20 minute drive from here. Maryborough is only a 25 minute drive from here and boasts some of the most beautiful heritage buildings and museums. They hold their street markets every Thursday. After all that exploring you can then come back and enjoy the serenity and reflect on the wonderful day you have had. Enjoy the adventure.

The peacefulness of the place. Very accommodating host. The only thing which dampen it was the weather itself but it is what it is. Light rain for most of the stay. Be careful of the local natives ( wallabies) around dusk and dawn when driving.

The hosts were welcoming and accommodating. This suited my needs for a budget friendly alternative to a motel, with my own own bathroom and kitchenette facilities, and access to power. As I was staying on my own I was able to set up a stretcher in the games room, and the industrial fan helped me survive a heat wave.

We had the absolute pleasure of camping at Sasja’s Hipcamp, and honestly, it was pure magic - exactly what my husband and I have been looking for.
A campsite entirely to ourselves, tucked away from the hustle and bustle of city life, it truly felt like our own little slice of paradise for just the two of us.
The “shack” (kitchenette) was fantastic and thoughtfully set up undercover; with fridge & BBQ, table and chairs. The amenities block was spotless; a super-clean toilet and hot/cold shower, which always makes a big difference when camping especially in summer.
We spent two blissful days and nights, completely surrounded by nature in all its glory - gentle domesticated cows and horses, curious hens, and the most hilarious guinea fowl family who had us in fits of laughter playing hide and seek. Add to that a beautiful rescue cat and the sweetest, most gentle cattle dog (“Mouse”) who made a point of visiting us each morning and night for a snuggle. What an absolute heart-melter. 🐶❤️
The complimentary firewood was such a generous and welcome touch. While we had access to their BBQ, cooking outdoors under the stars with the fire pit crackling was the icing on the cake. 🔥✨
Will we be back? YES! YES!! YES!!!
Highly recommend this beautiful spot to anyone craving peace, nature, laughter, and a truly special off-grid escape.

Great little place to use as your base camp while exploring the area. Even though you are camped in the front yard, the host leave you alone, but are happy to answer any questions. I couldn’t recommend this place more. All of the sites are spread out so you aren’t close to random people. The showers have awesome hot water. There is plenty for the kids to do and Chrissy & Duane do so well to get the kids involved in the animal feeding. Great location only 10 minutes from Childers but you still feel like you are in the bush. 10/10!
