On your way in or out, be sure to check out the boutique village of Wollombi which is just 10 minutes from Cranky Rock, where you'll enjoy wine tasting, fresh produce and quaint cafes. Other must-see's in the area include the Olney State Forest and the Wattagan National Park.The property is located just off a scenic drive, over a 2wd accessible creek crossing. It is peaceful and secluded. Campers can used shared kitchen and bathroom facilities located at the top of the camp area. Dogs are welcome, but as it's a working farm, we ask the remain on leash at all times.

Pets are definitely welcome, but please be sensible and do not bring them if they are aggressive. Please pick up after him/her (there is nothing worse than stepping in a dog dropping).
Horses also welcome - we have a fenced cattle yard.
Hot Showers are available, but if you would like to use them please bring a container of water (not essential) to keep the water tank topped up. Toilets are placed around the property.
We have communal sites plus separated private sites for those that would like some privacy. (If you would like a private site, please message us once you have booked).

There are no nearby shops so be sure to bring everything with you. The property offers over 100kms of bush tracks ideal for walking, push-bike riding or 4WDing. The Communal camping area is within walking distance of our amenities block, which offers flushing porcelain toilets and a hot shower. Bush campsites are fully self-sufficient, BYO (bring your own) water and toileting system. All campers are required to take their rubbish home with them as there are no bins on site. Sites available for all vehicle types, from buses and large caravans to fully kitted out off-road vehicles.

Surrounded by Yengo National Park and Crown land, Earthways is 134 ha (330 acre) property near Wollombi in a secluded part of the Wollombi Valley. Come and enjoy the noises of the bush and the clear night skies with no human neighbours close. No mobile reception. (Phone and wifi for emergencies at our house.) We (Brian and Sally) have been re-vegetating the land and living here sustainably being “Off Grid” for over 40years, surrounded by bush with 3km of Stockyard creek meandering through the valley. We would love to share this paradise with those wanting to get away from the hustle and bustle of city life. Dogs welcome but kept on a lead.
No leeches and No ticks in this area. NO close neighbours. Perfect spot to pitch your tent or set up your camper next to Stockyard creek. After a mini flood we now have water in the creek. Lots of sunshine and lots of shade. Easy dirt road access (5km) Some sites require/recommend 4WD check each site separately.
Come and take advantage of the Wollombi Valley's beautiful scenery and atmosphere. Sit and relax or get adventurous and explore the area. The historic village of Wollombi is only 25 minutes away, and has cafes, shop, museum and the Wollombi Tavern. The popular Broke and Pokolbin wine regions are a short 25-40 minute drive away in the opposite direction. Yengo National Park has some wonderful look out spots-great to take a picnic to Finchley Lookout to watch the sun set or check out Aboriginal art sites.

Our property is approximately 150 acres, located in the Upper Hunter Valley between the Goulburn River National Park and the Wollemi National Park. In the shadow of Mt Dangar, our land sweeps down to the pristine Goulburn River, one of the main tributaries of the Hunter River.
The property was once part of a huge agricultural station, that was established not long after explorers started to open up the interior to development in colonial times.
We raise cattle and have an olive grove, which we planted in 2001 (our olive brand is Windybank Olives). In 2003 we established The Old Dairy accommodation, by renovating the crumbling 1940's dairy shed at the top of the property.
There are stunning views of the surrounding countryside in all directions from The Old Dairy. It is a place to unwind, relax, reset. Guests have loved the peace & quiet we offer, the chance to get away from everything for a short while. Our road is just off Bylong Valley Way - a visually stunning route through the national parks towards Mudgee, Rylstone, Capertee Valley, Lithgow and the Greater Blue Mountains, tracking along the headwaters of the Goulburn River.
One of the most beautiful drives in New South Wales and within close proximity of terrific campsites like Ganguddy (Dunn's Swamp via Rylstone) and Big River (Gouburn River National Park). Plenty of birds & wildlife (kangaroos make a very regular appearance - as do healthy green tree frogs!).
