Mira Wines only has two campsites, so absolutely no chance of overcrowding. Both are perched high on a well-maintained grassy hill and are surrounded by grapevines…and the views are amazing! We were only there two nights and had very busy days so we didn't get to experience anything else that the property has to offer, unfortunately.

What a fabulous location to set up your camp. Positioned at the top of the hill overlooking the vineyards and beyond. Well situated to visit the local wineries and restaurants. Iron gate and swinging tree wineries are very near by. Ana’s hospitality was friendly and inviting. We absolutely loved the tasting of her wines, limoncello and honey. Would definitely recommend for self sufficient campers.

Ana's land is beautiful. Perched up on the hill, with views as far as the eye can see! Waking up & looking out of our caravan window at the vines was very special.
We were treated to a tasting of a couple of Ana's wines, which were lovely, and her famous Limoncello, which is just delicious!

Gorgeous views from the campsite and great open space. One of my favourite winerys in the Hunter, Ana is so welcoming and its a beautiful intimate space. Be organised and bring your water as the running water taps/toilets and showers are a little walk away.

Ana is the absolute best host and her land is just stunning. We got to camp right in the middle of the gorgeous vineyard surrounded by rolling hills and breathtaking views. Ana has some of the best wines we’ve had in the Hunter that you can enjoy tasting in an intimate setting where you feel like part of the family. We’ve been many times before and would absolutely go again! ❤️

Ana’s place is awesome. Perched on the hill top looking back over the vines to the house and across the valley, it was beautiful.
Would definitely return here.
Just to note you could be a bit exposed to the weather but we had no issues.
There is a picnic table and chairs for your use also.

What an amazing host Ana is. She is very quick to respond to any messages and was so very welcoming to our family. Ana met us on site at our scheduled arrival time and guided us to the camp site. The camp site is perched high atop the vineyard property with stunning 360 degree views of the property and neighbouring vineyards. There is plenty of room in the camping area and we were able to easily manoeuvre our caravan to the best spot. The provided picnic table and fire pit are simple but very handy not having to unpack our own. The bathroom (including shower) is available to use in the cellar door and is perfectly clean. It’s a must to have Ana host a wine tasting so you can try some of the fabulous wines and the Limoncello. Plenty of mobile service if you need it, but it was great to encourage our two boys to get out and explore the property and see the chickens, horses and Guinea fowl. We will definitely comeback again 👍😎

Lovely welcome by Ana. Beautiful hilltop site with awesome views of the surrounding vineyards. Beautiful night spent by the fire, sipping wine and star gazing.
Big fan of the Shiraz and her Limoncello. A great tasting experience.
Beware the strong winds if you're tenting or have an awning 😁.

We had a great girls long weekend camping at Mira Wine. Beautiful setting looking out over all of the mountain ranges and nestled amongst the vineyards. Fantastic location only five minutes to Cessnock and a plethora of wonderful restaurants and wineries to discover. We will definitely be back. Anna is a wonderful host and makes the meanest 🍋 lemoncello ever. !! Thank you Anna!

Take the time to stop and stay.
Staying here was an absolute highlight of the Hunter Valley. The campsite sits high on a hill with plenty of room and a firepit, tucked amongst the vineyard with breathtaking views of the valley, lemon orchard, olive grove, and even a duck pond. It was incredibly peaceful, and we had the whole place to ourselves, which made it feel even more special.
What really made the stay memorable was the host, Ana, who welcomed us like family. She’s warm, generous, and makes you feel instantly at home—like visiting your favourite aunty. Her farm dog, Sonny, was the sweetest companion, and we loved seeing the ducks, chickens, and horses roaming freely across the property.
The on-site cellar door is a gem, offering excellent wines and hands down some of the best house-made limoncello in Australia, crafted from a traditional recipe. Wine tasting on the property while overlooking the vineyard was a perfect touch. Not to mention clean amenities and a nice hot shower.
This is more than just a place to camp—it’s an experience. Between the stunning scenery, the amazing produce, and the heartfelt hospitality, we left feeling refreshed, grateful, and already planning to return. Highly recommended!

Mira Wines was honestly a dream. Waking up surrounded by vineyards, with horses and kangaroos just casually hanging out, it was unreal. The place is stunning, peaceful, and just has that something you can’t quite put into words. Ana was the sweetest host, super helpful and easygoing. We felt right at home. This is a beautiful location with 360degree views. Centrally located to explore Pokolbin and more cellar doors a short walk away.
Ana is a wonderful host and we enjoyed sharing her special corner of the Hunter Valley over the long weekend.

Absolutely fantastic location on the hill surrounded by rows of vines. Spectacular views of the valley, and made for some great drone photos!
Ana is a very gracious host, and made us feel very welcome. Her knowledge of the area was great, with several recommendations for wineries and food that were more boutique than the majors in the Hunter.
We really enjoyed our stay over Easter and will be back again!
