Riverside camping at Elderslie near Branxton. Located on 6 hectares. Camp kitchen in shed. Bbq and wood heater in shed. Well water. Port-a loo available. Fishing, swimming, kayaks or just relax and watch bird life. Dogs on lead. Level places for vans. Fires must be contained, when fires are permitted. Also a fire bunker for camp ovens - pending fire restrictions. Gas hot shower available. On the river means keep eye out for snakes in the warmer months. Camping under gum trees is not permitted- see photo.River side camping at Elderslie near Branxton Approx 4ha to use. Swimming, fishing, kayaks or just relax and enjoy the bird life. Dogs allowed on leads. Shed with camp kitchen wood heater and bbq. Well water on site. Port-a-loo available. Fires allowed in designated areas when fire season permits allow. This is why I don’t allow camping under gums trees. See picture.

Easter weekend
Great camp site! Great location close to the river. The hot water to the shower was broken but it didn’t put a damper on our trip.

Loved the Stay on Allan's property, a wide and large piece of land, very green with access to a riverbed and water for dogs. Simple amenities but does not need more for a short stay. Allan has been extremely helpful and event supplied firewood and helped with kindling. Super nice!

Great little spot
We loved camping at this campsite! Allan was very helpful and friendly and went out of his way to ensure we had a great stay. We had a great spot overlooking the Hunter river. Good amenities and nice flat ground. Would visit again.

What a great campground, well kept, level, beautiful views and access to a lovely river beach (bring your fishing rod!) Allen was very friendly and a great host. We will be back!

Perfect!
Elderslie is a beautifully maintained property and a perfect spot for camping. We had a lovely time holiday with friends. We even managed a dip in the river. Thank you Allan for your warm welcome. Hopefully we’ll be back for another visit.
