Cabins are available on a daily rate or weekly depending on the length of your stay. We have a “NEW” resort-style pool with easy ramp access and camp kitchen facilities including stainless steel BBQs. We have a large amenities block a Disabled Toilet/Shower Facility and a large laundry facility. We are not a “PET FRIENDLY” Park in our Cabin Accommodation, but for Short Stays on Powered Sites we are “PET FRIENDLY”. Pets are definitely welcome, but please be sensible and do not bring them if they are aggressive. Please pick up after him/her (there is nothing worse than stepping in a dog dropping).
Horses also welcome - we have a fenced cattle yard.
Hot Showers are available. There are toilets placed around the property.
We have communal sites plus separated private sites for those that would like some privacy. (If you would like a private site, please message us once you have booked).
Have a Fenced off Kids Playground.
Buggys (allowed any weekend at an extra fee).
Quads and dirt bikes also allowed PLEASE NOTE; They are an extra fee and only allowed on specific weekends. As we like to keep our property quiet for everyone to relax from the hassle and bustle of everyday life.

We would like to advise that entry to our beautiful property is a dirt road and does have mounds. The road has just been upgraded and although has dirt mounds is quite easy. We suggest to drive over them on an angle and take your time. We have lots of people come in with trailers and campers and have not had a problem. But do not recommend it if you have a lowered car. Any concerns, please contact us.

Callicoma Hill offers bush camping for groups in a forest clearing, an off-grid 10 bed rustic bunkhouse and an off-grid self-contained 3 bedroom eco-cabin in the forested mountains at Mount Royal, on the edge of the Barrington wilderness in the Hunter Valley of NSW.
We also occasionally offer a camping site in our front paddock with a spectacular 80km view over the Hunter Valley.
It is an ideal off-grid bush getaway for families and groups, offering peace and quiet, a mountainside of forest, enviable views and sunsets across the Hunter Valley and fresh mountain air. Most importantly, guests have exclusive use of our property in each area, so you don't have to share with other visitors.
We are near Mount Royal National Park, adjoining the Barrington Tops wilderness area. The area is part of the World Heritage listed Gondwana Rainforest Reserves, a place of great scenic beauty and natural diversity. Best of all, it is quiet and away from the crowds.
Whether you want an easy walk in nature and peace, an adventurous climb to see a breathtaking view, or are in training for an epic multi-day walk, Mount Royal National Park provides excellent bushwalking opportunities.
Or, you can simply stay at camp and sit and relax!

We are Based in a Quiet Area in Howes Valley NSW
TJ's has over 1000 acres of mixed beautifully grassed areas, surrounding Aussie bush, and a sand based seasonal river (the river is not always flowing fully). Where you can relax and enjoy the peace and tranquility of the Australia Bush, taking in the stunning views, listening to the wildlife, star gazing, go bush walking, splash in our crystal clear seasonal river or bring out your adventure side and go 4wding.
Pets are definitely welcome, but please be sensible and do not bring them if they are aggressive. Please pick up after him/her (there is nothing worse than stepping in a dog dropping).
Horses also welcome - we have a fenced cattle yard.
Hot Showers are available. There are toilets placed around the property.
We have communal sites plus separated private sites for those that would like some privacy. (If you would like a private site, please message us once you have booked).
Have a Fenced off Kids Playground.
Buggys (allowed any weekend at an extra fee).
Quads and dirt bikes also allowed PLEASE NOTE; They are an extra fee and only allowed on specific weekends. As we like to keep our property quiet for everyone to relax from the hassle and bustle of everyday life.

We would like to advise that entry to our beautiful property is a dirt road and does have mounds. The road has just been upgraded and although has dirt mounds is quite easy. We suggest to drive over them on an angle and take your time. We have lots of people come in with trailers and campers and have not had a problem. But do not recommend it if you have a lowered car. Any concerns, please contact us.

We had a fantastic stay in our van at Hedley’s Hideaway – Main Campsite, traveling with others in a van and alos making use of the lovely cabin on the site. This worked perfectly for our small group getaway to the Hunter. The campsite was spacious, level, and easy to find, with plenty of room for everyone to set up with their own outlook.
Communication from the host was clear and friendly before and after booking our stay, and the arrival instructions were straightforward. The facilities were clean and well maintained, and the description and photos on the listing were accurate. There were some great bonuses -like the playground for the kids. We especially loved the bushwalk from the campsite and the beautiful view from the top, which was a highlight of the stay.
Overall, we’d happily recommend Hedley’s Hideaway main campsite to other small groups or families looking for a comfortable, well set up spot, at a great price, and we’d definitely stay again.

My partner and I loved camping at Wattle Valley Farm! Each spot looked very secluded and lots of room between each one.
All the amenities were clean, well-maintained and uncrowded.
Lots of areas to explore and a nice little creek to swim in as well!

We had a lovely time at Wattle valley farm camping. The hosts welcomed us and showed us different spots available for our tent and car. Every spots felt private and we never felt on top of the other guests. It was a really hot weekend and were really glad we could swim in the river ! Also the shower and toilet facilities were perfect, clean and enough for all the campers. U would really recommend this place for families and people with dogs.

Great hosts and campsite, have been before and would go again. There's a good availability and variation in sites. We had a lovely time with our dog in a little spot surrounded by bush and near the river so we felt quite separate from everyone else, although you could still hear adjacent spots, which was to be expected

Beautiful big property, our campsite was set amongst the trees in large, completely secluded, natural surroundings. This is a great bush camping area, with the advantage of hot showers and toilet facilities back at the front gate a 10 minute drive away. Friendly staff too! Come prepared though, no reception or shops within an hours drive.

Amazing personalised service for such a big property and multiple guests. Very impressive how I was treated as an individual rather than ‘another guest’. I was camping as a solo female, and was put in a VERY private spot with no other people anywhere close, and was given a spare CB radio to contact the host if I needed. I have been camping for over 45 years and have NEVER received a personalised service like this. Thank you so much! My campsite was beautiful, by the way.

The road in is unsealed and a bit rough, but the host is super friendly and the place is really quiet and beautiful.
Great if you’re after privacy and peace.

Our first time camping with our youngest (6 yrs) and we all loved it. A large open field with several pitches (marked by campfire sites) and also several other pitches dotted around the bush in nooks. A short walk to the river which was a welcome way to cool off on a 39° day! FYI the water isn't clear. Hot showers and flushing toilets were good. The middle shower in the family room is temperamental and doesn't flow as well as the others. Jenna and Matt were both lovely, approachable and welcoming. The cave walk was short but sweet. Unfortunately we didn't manage to get to do the 45 min loop bush walk...next time! A short drive to Wollombi village and also a great location to explore some of the wineries in Broke. The bridge over the river, to access the site felt a bit scary driving over as it felt narrow (no barriers on the sides), especially in the dark but in looking in the wing mirrors we had a good foot or 2 either side.
A successful first trip and already booking another for Easter! Thanks for giving us the bug! I loved this site and would recommend to others.

Beautiful camping spot not too far from Sydney, hosted by absolutely lovely people! You can camp near others in the open paddock or find a more secluded campsite surrounded by trees, which was perfect for us. Having toilets & showers was such a luxury as well. Swimming in the river on such hot days was the best way to cool down! We brought our puppy and she had the best time too. Overall just loved the vibe at this site, lots of friendly people all enjoying the camping experience. Thanks Matt & Jenna for having us at Wattle Valley Farm!

Great spot. Paddocks were a bit wet so put us up on the concrete near office overlooking dam. Margaret was very welcoming. Came over for a chat at the end by of the day to thank us for staying. Highly recommend.
