Guests are required to be fully self contained with their own toilet/shower facilities and must take all waste and rubbish with them on departure.
There are small streams, valley areas, tree covered area, grassy knobs and open areas. There is access to a creek and you will see farm animals, cows and sheep, plus plenty of Kangaroo's, possibly a wombat or a fox and native birds.
You can pick from a standard single camp site or pick your spot, we can mow the area for you to accommodate the number of camp sites required to suit your request.
There is plenty of space to ride your horse's (you will need to provide your own temporary fencing) and the property is dog friendly. Please keep dogs on a leash and ensure they are cleaned up after.

This listing also offers dozens of private sites for the ones that want to enjoy some peace and quiet. Please be sure to message us if you would like a private site. You can enjoy horse riding next door at AAA horse riding I and the beach is a

Our camp sites have access to three eco toilets and only one shared shower, rubbish facilities and drinking water. (Campfires) portable fire pits only permitted during the winter months.
We also have 2 x 4 star cabins which sleep 15 between them, they are listed separately on Hipcamp. However the guests from both the camp sites and the cabins have shared access to the pool and facilities. Which includes a large under cover patio area.
FRIENDLY PETS welcome. Small kitchen with microwave dishwasher and cook top and fridge may be used . Please just clean up any mess you make. For the next guest All cleaning products under sink. WE HAVE 3 DOGS that are people friendly., who love to meet new fury friends , they do have the run of our property .
As our property has a lot of maintenance lawns /gardens ; we may use mowers blowers etc , we will possibly maintain between 10 am to 2 pm If needed.

We limit bookings for your privacy. Van access fine in dry weather, provided you have an appropriate 4WD (not recommended for SUV'S towing if its been wet). 2WD are only good on DV#1 site all year round. Dogs welcome and are fine to be off-lead provided they don't chase horses and are friendly. Fire Pits available and firewood aplenty here. Campers must be fully contained, BYO Toilet. 4WD only for the Beautiful Back Paddock.

Teretulemast is an Estonian name, it means WELCOME.
THE HISTORY OF OUR PLACE as we know it:
The Birpai people were the original and will always be the landowners of this area, we respect those past and present who took care of this land and lived amongst it, and hope to care for it until somebody else takes over this place.
The property we care for and live on is a ex rainforest, pasture improved as they say and ex cattle farm. It has a mix of cleared acres, rainforest pockets, fresh and free-flowing river running through both sides of the property to swim/paddle in, so many birds, platypus (we never see them just our quiet neighbours do), eel, fish, deer, kangaroos, wallabies (and koalas in the greater Elands area).
And of course, BIG open skies to enjoy a campfire under. Short 3 min drive or walk (15 min) or swim (20 min), to Ellenborough falls & much more to see and do or just RELAX!
No shops here or speedy internet to get distracted from nature!
HOW CLOSE TO THE FALLS ARE WE: We are two driveways away from Ellenborough falls (approx 800 metres) or 20 min swim away, 15 min walk or 3 min drive!
A 40 min drive to Tapin Tops National Park, Dingo Tops and the famous Potaroo Falls, and the usual local hangouts like the Rapids & the top of the Falls 5-7 min away. Closest towns, Wingham & Comboyne 45 min away.

- give the FLOW trail a go
- book the river flat and get exclusive access to the pump track

FAQ ON CAMPING HERE:
We have improved ALL roads into our property. This doesn't mean two wheels drives won't get bogged, but it will make it easier for dry weather access for most. While we advise 4x4 are better suited all year around.. it is a property, and no tarred road. So on occasions even a 4x4 may need a tow weather turning ugly. But since April 2022, roads vastly improved! And wide access provided through gates making it easier with large camper trailers & caravans, plus solar power installed for lighting and fridge in shed on river flat & fire place working!!! (only happened August 2022 - we are a tad excited to share it with you).
- Animal friendly property (ask us for info on this if not just a dog)
- River access from all sites (we have 2 main large sites all to yourselves and 2-3 smaller ones all just for you) - fresh water and yes you can swim in it and we drink it! Water tastes sweeter with all natures minerals flowing through it.
- Telstra Mobile Reception ONLY (belong, aldi plans)
(Most sites, 1-2 bars max - just enough to upload a photo to insta and tag us #teretulemastelands)
- HOT shower, toilet, bbq and enclosed shed with tables/chairs/lights/fireplace/fire pits x 2.
- Two Toilets; loads of space on SERENITY (next improvements will be hot shower & outdoor kitchen/shed) & a fire pit.

- Campfires YES - let us know if you would like to buy Firewood $150 for a std trailer load (usually will do 3 big nights of fires or a week if saavy) and we will deliver to site ready for your arrival - see Extras for details *no trees to fell for wood sorry - we are trying to grow them here! But help yourself to kindling. :).
- REAL Australia - spiders/snakes/ticks be prepared *ask us if need help
-ENSURE you leave nothing, take rubbish off the mountain with you please too or we can take it for a cash fee (which helps us pay for petrol and tipping fees as no rubbish bin here)!
- The shop on the mountain doesn't hold ICE very often (more bread, milk, post office, some alcohol and ice creams), so please pick up from Wingham COLES or Comboyne IGA!
HOT TIP: Organise your Coles pick up from Wingham or Comboyne IGA so you don't even have to pack your food, just simply pick it up when your 1 hour away - we can even hire you an esky or if you are staying on the river flat, no need, it comes with access to our off grid stand up fridge/freezer!

And don't forget your ICE and petrol at Wingham or Comboyne, last stop!!
HIRE EQUIPMENT and SAVE YOUR BOOT SPACE, the environment and your Marriage, plus buying cheap chairs; gazebos you will only throw out anyway. All you need to do once you arrive then is sit down and open a beer, or setup that cheese platter and release the kids and the dog!
PARTIES are allowed, but please note: we do need advance notice at the point of booking. It may be a busy weekend with people wanting quiet space on other spots (despite you not seeing them from your exclusive spot will impact their enjoyment) plus add an extra fee depending on the type of function (especially where we are managing cars and people to site), and also be comfortable with paying min $150 for tipping fees (one trailer load to the tip) if you do require us to take your rubbish. We live a long way from the tip and from past experience, large groups can and do make loads of mess, please do not litter our beautiful river and Bulga plateau area. RIVER FLAT shed has crockery, cups and wine glasses; loads of cutlery you are welcome further reduce your waste by using and taking care of. We only ask you wash items up well and put items back after use! FREE OF CHARGE. :).

Farm Life
Our animals are for our sustainability, but we are happy if you would like to come meet our farm family. Just let us know when you get here and we are happy to organise a time to walk through and feed our many animals. Text also works great to organise these things without you having to leave your campsite! :)
Kids love finding the chicken eggs, patting/feeding the elusive naughty goats, the busy horses, and enjoy herding the cows when we need them moved. We have 3 noisy dogs, who love to bark as you drive past.. just while you drive past, but still.. rather a loud farm welcome!
