Set on 35 acres at the junction of the Omadale Brook and Hunter River, Roma Orchard offers you the chance to escape and unwind at the head of the Upper Hunter. Ideally located just 3.5 hours from Sydney or 45 minutes from Scone, Roma Orchard has been run by the Tilse family for 6 generations and now welcomes guests from far and wide to stop, relax and enjoy the picturesque surrounds of the apple orchard and vineyard.  The Orchard Lodge was officially opened on the 20th September 1992, Over time, accommodation on Roma Orchard has expanded  to now include the recently renovated Roma Cottage and campground. Whether you're looking for an event venue, holiday retreat, family getaway, or wedding destination, we welcome you to find your space on Roma Orchard.

Amazing place, so beautiful had the camp site to ourselves. Lovely grounds keeper. The creek is also so nice to swim in. Highly recommend.

Lovely secluded property
Spacious property with plenty of room. Nice and secluded to enjoy some downtime. Amenities were great, showers and toilets basic but served their purpose. great camp kitchen with huge picnic table, sink with hot water and pretty new large hooded barbeque. Great lunch available on weekends at the Moonan Flat pub only 10 minutes away.

Beautiful, spacious and peaceful
Beautiful open space, toilets and shower was perfect. Camp kitchen very tidy and useful! We were greeted on arrival and told we could stay where ever we like! Beautiful stream runs through the property and we walked around it and over the bridge.

This place is absolute paradise. Cleanly mown, gorgeous scenery, birds, possums, and cows. The hosts kept the perfect balance of being informative and welcoming, and ensuring our privacy. We got the wine tasting pack as well as the firewood - these were delivered promptly and the red was delightful. It was raining when the firewood was delivered and the host was super friendly about offering us dry wood if what we received got too wet in the downpour, but we ended up being fine. What a serene location, clean and private, so grateful to have been able to stay for a couple of days.
