Altamira Along Bakers Creek - Twin
Fantastic place to get away from all the hustle and bustle we call life, have been here multiple times now loved it each time! This is our go to place for a getaway, Jacci & her husband are extremely accomidating and so pleasantly nice they make the experience that much nicer, would recommend to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway and doesnt mind some furry and feathered friends walking around their camp site. Oh and also there's a pool!

The host were very friendly, accomodating and welcoming.
My friends and I absolutely loved hanging out in the pool and feeling welcome to enjoy ourselves at Jacci’s and Mark’s home.
The facilities were great eg: showers, toilets.
Loved having all the animals around. Would stay again.

What an amazing campsite especially if you have kids. So much space and a very relaxing vibe. The animals and pool were a big hit with the kids. Jacci was a fantastic host. We will be back.

The pool and shower/toilet facilities are clean and ideal for them hot days. Staff are lovely and friendly. My son loved the toy room and all the bikes along the deck and tennis court. We will definitely be back!

Overall the facilities on offer and the ease of finding a site was great. I do feel though that the property needs a tidy up and some time taken in presentation and upkeep is needed. I know it’s a rural property but when you are the host to multiple sites, having rubbish piles, building material piles and the reception/house looking a bit tired, it doesn’t make the overall experience as welcoming and relaxing. Also, unfortunately we had a large group setup very close to us on the second night, which made our rural stay less relaxing. Maybe having more oversite from the site manager to ensure groups don’t impede on others would have been a bonus. We did thoroughly appreciate the pool and being able to have a nice little drink at the bar, so Thankyou for that!

Such a great spot to camp, best we have found near Newcastle! So much to do here with the farm animals, pool area, spa, trampoline, creek, there is an awesome bar and living area with a pool table and an outdoor entertaining area. The owners have done an incredible job with the setup here. Dog friendly and the owners and all the other campers were so lovely. Awesome experience will definitely recommend and be back!

Great place to camp. Will definitely be one for us to return to.
For the kids: lots of room to run around and they loved all the animals running around and able to pat.
The weather was a bit rainy when we were there but the hot spa still aloud us to get in the water.
Adult: great beer garnden and pool table over looking the kids toy room that allows you to relax and unwind while the kids play and still able to see them.
The owners are lovely and made the stay very enjoyable. Recommend this camp site.

We loved our 3 days stay in this beautiful campsite, perfect for couples, friends and families plus it’s pet friendly. Jacci and her husband was very accommodating to us. So if you’re looking for a peaceful campsite with amazing ammenities, this one is a must visit!

What a lovely but of land this is. Beautiful views of the rolling hills. The kids loved all the animals and splashing around in the pool. We were the only ones there for 3 days and was a perfect spot to relax and chill.

Excellent camping site. Has all the amenities you would require and more. Even a bar! The drive to the camp site is also very scenic. Would definitely come here again as it just became our favourite spot.

Absolutely loved our stay! Jacqui and Mark are the most wonderful hosts – so supportive and attentive. We forgot a few things, and they went out of their way to help us out. They’re so lovely to chat with too! We even ended up extending our stay because we were having such a great time.
The highlights? Definitely the pool (so refreshing!), the hot showers (a lifesaver after a long day), being with the animals in their farm, and the incredible clear night skies. But the best part was the firepit – we made such happy memories with our daughter’s first-ever campfire, roasting marshmallows under the stars.
If you’re after a relaxing and fun camping experience, this is the spot. We can’t wait to come back!

We loved our time here, was a gorgeous spot with so many spaces for camping. We chose a beautiful spot near the dam and under a shady tree. All the different animals were a highlight, they were friendly and adorable! We also loved the pool, so nice to cool down on a hot summer afternoon. Thanks Jade!

The weather was hot so the pool was great to have. Jacqui and Mark the hosts were terrific. Our caravan spot under a big beautiful tree down near the entrance was lovely and peaceful. We were there for a week. Would recommend

Stopped for 1 night on the way to Sydney which wasn't long enough. The place is equipped with bathrooms, showers, pool, animals, kids playgroup and entertainment. I will definitely be returning.

Owners are very welcoming and make you feel at home. Pool is great on a hot day and the bar area is great for hanging out, as is the library. The animals are great and is great place for kids or getting together as a group. . Personally loved the birding.
